    **DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LIARS & THIEVES** Used 2018 WRX. I drove the 4 hours from NJ to Virginia, Coming into this I know the car would not be perfect but the main issues should be, as it is from "reputable dealer". I met the finance director Mr. Emmir Quiroga (probably the worst person). We found out at the same time that my wife's title for the trade was not signed by her. He then called someone and asked if I can proceed but the person on the phone stated my wife's signature needs to be on it. Mr. Quiroga hung up, said it should be fine gave me a look & in Spanish instructed me indirectly to sign it as he walked out the room to get "water". (Come to find out later It should not have been signed by me since I'm not the owner, my wife is) I then purchased a two year engine and transmission warranty due to it being a used car to cover me for future event just in case. Exactly 2 hrs into my drive my check engine light come's on due to the car sputtering and not shifting properly I almost get into an accident trying to pull over Thank god an emergency vehicle saw me and pulled up behind me to make sure cars don't hit me. Very upset I then called Mr Quiroga told him of the situation he then instructed me tow the car back 2 hrs back to Virginia at my expense. I told him that option does not make sense. After 45 min I found tow & close Subaru dealership, Ourisman. Their service department closes at 6. I had to get a hotel for the night so they can diagnose the car the day after. I get a call from Ourisman the next morning stating that Safford should not have sold me the car in that condition. That proper maintenance was not done prior to putting the car up for sale, basically Safford Brown just changed the oil cleared the engine codes and shined it up for sale. The cause was the valve body was not functioning properly which would have shown up when checked, as well as the front breaks and rotors were rusted out. A $2500 fix. As per Virginia laws all these things must be done prior to a sale of the vehicle as it is a safety hazard. Ex. I was almost in an accident. I called Mr. Quiroga and updated him and he stated "of course Oursiman wants to fix it" told me there is nothing he can do to call the warranty company which I was shocked by what he said. I called the warranty company, coincidentally come to find out they also do not cover that part which makes no dam sense because they do not consider it a part of the transmission...no words. The amount of frustration I was feeling was something I never felt before. Ourisman themselves then called Safford Subaru told them of the situation and tried to have them DO WHAT'S RIGHT by the customer & have them approve an pay for the fix as it should have NOT BEEN SOLD to me or anyone else that way in the first place. NOT ONLY DID SAFFORD DENY THE REQUEST THEY STARTED IGNORING MY CALLS & OURISMAN SUBARU AS WELL. I called the general line and have them try and transfer me to Mr. Quiroga &/or management nothing. I called the general line again and got yelled at on the phone by an employee, like I was annoying them. I called Eric and he finally picks up puts me on speaker and I can clearly hear a group of voice's as well as Mr. Quiroga on the line but he will not come on the phone. Eric states they well get back to me guess what nothing haven't heard from them since. I had to call Subaru cooperate for them to help me out. Ourisman loaned me a car which they didn't have to to get home. My car had to spend a week at Ourisman fixing Safford Brown mistakes. After all of that I tried calling their general manager and everyone else and they clearly blacked balled my name and number as when I try to call, there's no help. Put me on hold and im ignored or it just hangs up. It feels personal. I definitely will be speaking with virgiina BBB as well as my brother who is a lawyer, if they feel like they aren't doing anything wrong they would not literally ignore customers. What makes this so maddening is if Safford Brown approved the fixes and do what's right by the customer there would be no issues.

    July 17, 2024- I took my car in for an oil change and driver-side window repair. After the "multi-point inspection," I was sent pictures of my car underneath and was informed that the valve cover was leaking oil and antifreeze onto the exhaust, causing an unsafe condition. I was informed that there would be a delay for parts, and I was ok with that. I picked my car up on the evening of July 29, and before I was even at the intersection of 28 and Liberia, the low tire pressure light came on. I would think that should have been taken care of during the oil change. It later came to light that the power steering fluid and the brake fluid were almost empty, which I feel should have also been taken care of during the oil change. That is all minor issues in comparison to what was to come. In February, I attempted to check the oil and was unable to remove the dipstick. I asked the garage next to my work to help me, and they also were not able to remove the dipstick. It had been noted that my radiator was leaking and needed replacement, and I was having the work done at the shop next to work as I was unhappy with the sloppy way my car was returned from Safford Brown. During the replacement of the radiator, they discovered that whoever had done the valve cover replacement had reassembled the engine with the dipstick in the tube instead of removing it before tightening down the engine parts. Which was why I was not able to pull the dipstick out. As shown in the pictures below, there are indentations on the engine block and timing cover. In the long term, I do not know if this damage is going to impact the engine. I do not know if there will be leaks or other issues going forward. I went to Safford Brown on Saturday, March 08, and discussed this with Meredith. She made copies of all of the paperwork and pictures and said she would immediately email Christopher Moore, the service manager. She told me that he was away for the weekend but that he would reach out on Monday morning. On Monday, I sent an email with the pictures and received no response. On Tuesday, I called and left a voicemail. It is now Wednesday, and I have had no response. I am completely disgusted that this is being handled this way. An employee of Safford Brown did a shoddy job, caused damage to my vehicle, and took a great deal of money from me. I would certainly expect a different level of concern for this, not to mention that it is disrespectful and rude. I strongly recommend going somewhere else if you care about your vehicle and expect good service.

    My husband and I drove over an hour to buy a Forester from Brown's Manassas Subaru. Our salesperson, Victor, was knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. We made a pressure-free decision to buy the car. During our test drive, we were able to bring our baby's car seat and take him with us, which made things easier and gave us a feel for what it would be like to have the car seat in there. The whole car-buying process was smooth and fast, which was important since we had a baby with us throughout the process. We highly recommend asking for Victor. The financing guy, Ayham, was also pleasant to work with and never pressured us into add-ons that we didn't want. Overall, we had a great experience buying a car at this Subaru dealership. Even though we live in Maryland, we'll definitely be back to this location if we ever need another Subaru.

    IF YOU'RE A WOMAN DON't GO HERE BY YOURSELF!!!! I scheduled a service appointment online for my 2023 forester. Last time I had a service they charged me $1500. My previous mileage maintenance package cost $600 and I anticipated this mileage maintenance package to be a similar price. A little bit of background info: Every previous general maintenance appointment I received a loaner car. When scheduling my appointment through their website it offers a shuttle to take you home (pic for proof) since the site said it'd be 3 - 4 hours for them to work on my car. When I got there I asked for a loaner and the guy told me they don't do loaners for general maintenance, so I told him how when I was here previously for general maintenance I got a loaner car and he gave me attitude and said we don't do that. So then I asked about the shuttle and he said we don't have a shuttle so I asked why they offer it when I scheduled my appointment online if they don't have one? The manager Hadley interrupted me and said ma'am I know you're stressed but if you give me a few minutes I can help you out. So I said okay and then the guy who I had been talking to chuckled and goes "you done" so I turned around and walked away to wait on Hanley and the original guy goes "No we're not done you don't get to walk away" so I went back and said then why did you say "you done" and why did Hadley tell me to wait for him? He then asks if I'm going to keep my appointment and if so then to give him my keys and when I give them to him he *GRABS* them from me and walks out to my car. I then decided f*ck this so when he came back in I said I'm just going to leave and took my car keys from him and left. About 20 minutes later I get a phone call and answer it and it's the manager, Hadley, calling to berate me and yell at me for "storming" out and that I can't behave the way I did. When I said sir, there's honestly no reason to be having this conversation because I will never be bringing my car back to your service department and this is incredibly unprofessional. He kept talking over me, completely ignored anything I tried to say and goes "look, I'm just trying to help you out".... NO YOU WEREN'T! You're a 50 year old man who went into a 27 year old girls profile just to get her phone number, call her and use your "position of power" as an excuse to yell at and chastise her. If I was a man the first guy would've NEVER said "you done" to me with a smirk and attitude. And if I was a man HADLEY would've NEVER called me AFTER I LEFT just to act holier than thou and make himself feel bigger.

    I had a really great experience purchasing my new 2023 Subaru WRX from Safford Brown Subaru Manassas. Chris was my salesman and he was super knowledgeable and very passionate about the Subaru brand. They gave me a great offer on my trade in and we're extremely transparent during the entire buying process. Chris was able to give me my out the door price via text the day before I came to the dealership and to my surprise when I showed up the next day the numbers were exactly the same. They never tried to pressure me into adding expensive extras or extended warranties and sold me my new car at a great price well below MSRP.

    I had such a great experience here - I originally went in for a brake inspection after another…read moreshop told me I needed work done, and Kevin took the time to thoroughly check everything for me. Not only did he explain things clearly, but he was also honest and reassuring -- he let me know my brakes were actually in good condition and didn't need any work at this time. That kind of transparency is rare and very appreciated. What really stood out to me was his integrity. He didn't try to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs, saying "sometimes you just gotta help people out." That genuinely meant a lot. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, and this experience gave me a lot of confidence in coming back here for future maintenance. Most people have an attitude and are rude when you come in a business while closing . Not these guys. 11 out of 10 stars. Always find and fix the issue fast and with great care . Zero complaints .     Disappointed by Owner's Unprofessional and Abusive Behavior…read more I visited Convenience Tire & Auto on April 3, 2025, and had a positive first impression. I spoke at length with the owner about his family-run business and even learned that his son races in NASCAR. The service at that time seemed friendly and sincere. Fast forward to today (June 2, 2025), I called to ask about the warranty for the tires I purchased. I initially spoke with the owner's wife, who was kind and respectful both over the phone and in person. However, my experience with the owner was drastically different. His tone was rude and dismissive from the beginning, which was surprising given our previous interaction. When I asked about warranty coverage, he told me there was none. Later, I reviewed my invoice and saw a 40,000-mile tread warranty clearly listed. I called back to clarify, and he told me the warranty might be offered through the tire manufacturer and asked me to bring the tire in. I accepted that the issue may have been due to a road hazard, and understood that it likely wouldn't be covered. Still, I decided to visit in person to get clarification for future reference. When I originally bought the tires, I was told there was a warranty. On the first phone call today, I was told there was none. On the second call, I was told the tread warranty is through the tire manufacturer. I simply wanted to clear up the conflicting information in case I chose to return as a customer in the future. Unfortunately, instead of explaining things calmly, the owner became visibly irritated, raised his voice, used profanity, and told me to "get the f*** out" of his shop. I stayed calm, didn't argue, and simply rolled my tire out of the store while he continued shouting. His wife, who had been courteous throughout, walked away--clearly embarrassed by his behavior. Everyone has off days, but that's no excuse for cussing out a customer and acting aggressively in a professional setting. There are security cameras in the front lobby where this occurred, around 11:45 a.m. on June 2, 2025. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through a similar experience. I will not be returning.
