As far as I know this is the best place to get donuts on the island. I was told they had the best iced coffee so I finally went to try it for the first time. I got a regular iced coffee and it was good but I expected better from all the hype. I wouldn't go out of my way for this coffee but if I was near I wouldn't hesitate to try it again. They have a moderate selection of donuts and muffins. I would recommend trying the chocolate croissant donut and their muffins are much tastier than Dunkin' Donuts. I don't even know where to start when Im writing a review for this country donuts. Every time you walk in your immediately greeting by such friendly girls behind the counter making your coffee and giving it to you with a real smile like they were actually happy to serve you. The kitchen staff even go out of their way to greet you and bring you your food. The coffee is delicious and for half the price of another coffee place the breakfast is better than going to a deli I order egg whites so usually in the deli they skimp you for not actually having the whole egg on your sandwich not country donuts the egg whites are the same size as if you got the whole egg. I've been to this location several times and their donuts and pancakes are always fresh and delicious. A few days ago my husband and I decided to get their egg platter with home fries, bacon and toast and we decided to sit down and eat there. Unfortunately as I was eating my home fries, I found a black hair about 1 1/2 inch long. I decided not to eat the home fries and continued to eat my over easy eggs and toast since I really do not like to complain, when I found another dark hair about 4-5 inches long in my eggs. At this point I got up and walked to the counter and showed them at which point a female and male cook come out from the back without hair nets each claiming the other had prepared that specific order. They were going to prepare another order but at that point I had already lost my appetite. My recommendation: cooks should wear hair nets. read more

Great staff and a great atmosphere. The girls are very respectful, call me by name, and always know my coffee order when I walk in. I thought they were giving me special treatment, but they literally know EVERYONE's name and order - I'm amazed at that level of service and commitment. One of my favorite places nearby to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. It's like a local gem, filled with regulars who frequent each day. Located in a pretty busy shopping center, it can get a decent amount of foot traffic but they keep things moving. The iced coffee is delicious, I love to get french vanilla (creamer) iced coffee. The best part is that they whip it, so it just always tastes smooth and delicious. Prices for coffee are average and comparable to Dunkin but the coffee is just much better than Dunkin. When I'm in a rush I love to get a roll with egg whites, turkey bacon, and avocado! They make it fresh but it comes out nice and quick and it always tastes delicious. They also have some good lunch food that's made fresh (including some lunch specials each day). The prices for food are excellent and can't be beat for quick yummy fresh food. I've never had a donut there, but many people have raved to me that they're always fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Disheartened by the selection, I settled for a mere Boston cream donut. Upon sitting down, I was appalled to discover a travesty. The Boston cream donut lacked its most essential ingredient: the cream. It was entirely devoid of any semblance of cream filling. Love this place!! One of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots on this side of staten island. The chicken and potatoe salad, are probably my favorites. They have these onion rolls that are to die for!! And the ice coffee flavors are endless and unique like toasted marshmallow or funky money. They even have a low carb/fat menu that consists of egg whites and turkey bacon. They make a great chicken soup i even eat it in the summer bc i cant get enough of it, im not kidding! One of the old people hang outs so its like super busy 9am to 11am. So get there early or call and order ahead of time to avoid the line/wait. Its situated in a big parking lot so parking is easy esp for amboy road.
