Alrighty folks, let's do this. I travelled up to Staten Island for an event and stayed with a large group close by. The vote for breakfast was McMuffins, but when I went to McDonald's the prices were crazy (maybe I'm just getting stingy?), so I went across the parking lot to this gem. Let me start by saying the staff is SO kind and accommodating. I hit them with an order of 20 breakfast sandwiches, they say no problem. I order a dozen donuts, and they give me an extra dozen on the house because I mentioned I was feeding a large group! All I can say is how thankful I am to these wonderful people for showing someone a bit of kindness on a Saturday :) P.S. The food rocked too :) read more

This acai bowl at country smoothie was delicious!! The banana, strawberries, and blueberries on top were so fresh and cold. I loved the peanut butter on top as well. The acai itself was very good but I have to say it was very watery instead of more solid which I didn't like. Next time I'd prefer for it to be more sold instead of watery. I also feel $13 is expensive for an acai bowl. But overall it was delicous and I would come back to try a different bowl flavor!!!! Always delicious and the quality is always great. We stop in a grab a dozen every time we are in the area. So many varieties to choose from you can't go wrong with whatever donut you pick. They also have a bunch of other treats- only tried the cookies but those too were great. read more

Ordered donuts on a Monday for my daughters class birthday party- paid in full went to pick up on Thursday, order incorrect and no resolution left with no donuts or refund- owner called me hours later and was passive aggressive and blaming me for the employees mistake! Wanted to inconvenience me the next morning and have to drive to his other location- didn't apologize but continued to lecture me about "custom donuts" as if I know about their ordering process. Train your employees better next time- and offer a better solution to paying customers- still no refund or donuts! Never again!!! read more

I'm giving it three stars because this location is hit or miss sometimes it's good sometimes it's not. I would really like to give it more stars. Sometimes the workers at the counter seem a little off and have an attitude it just depends on who you get. I really like their donuts and their prepackaged chicken salad and yogurt. My work dad told me abt this spot and it has easily become one of my gotos for coffee and bfast! Love their iced french vanilla latte (i get it w oat milk). Its almost addicting! When I asked this I said I was able to due to the fact the business is open to public and this is a free country. Ordered an iced coffee with just a splash of caramel. Picked up at other counter and asked girl if there was just a splash and she said I just put the standard . Thanks to girl at register for not listening . Didn't have time to wait for a remake . I also think they have gotten swell heads and too big for themselves which they can't handle. A few months ago tried to do a large catering order but was told they aren't taking any until the fall but my party is the fall so I have to wait to see if they will accommodate me ? Worse place on the planet ... I cant believe how downhill this place went. The only thing I can say is decent are the donuts if you get them early if not they are stale. The coffee is terrible, idk why people hype this place up with the owners coffee . Then for a small juice is 10$ . Whether if I'm too lazy or busy to make breakfast on the weekends Country Donuts is always a great choice. Everything is made fresh from sandwiches, platters, smoothies. Service is pretty quick and nice. I prefer the Richmond Ave location because they make yummy smoothie bowls and have more seating. read more

I got a coffee here a few weeks ago, and the staff that helped me was super nice and went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted. Today, I had a totally different experience. I ordered a smoothie from the smoothie side. The menu says "Mango Coconut Bliss: choice of liquid, banana, coconut, agave, topped with chia seeds." I waned something with mango, so after confirming this does have mango (even though the description doesn't say it does), I order this. As I stood there waiting for the receipt, the woman started talking to an employee who was off duty, crumpled up my receipt and threw it out in front of me and didn't tell me how I would know my smoothie was ready. I sat down. It appeared shortly after with no call. Then, I get the smoothie, and there is shredded coconut on top instead of chia (which was a bummer) and it tasted like there are pieces of sawdust in it. I'll go back to the coffee side, but I'll stay away from the smoothie side. Which I am bummed about. read more

You guys, I haven't been to Country Donuts in a hot minute. Recently I heard buzz that they got a new juice bar so I decided to go check it out. Turns out CD purchased the store next to them and expanded - the inside has been revamped with a lot more seating! When you enter there are two registers - one for donuts/ coffee/etc and then the juice bar counter. From the looks of it they have a very extensive menu - different fruit bowls, juices and smoothies. I ordered the Go Green - which is spinach, kale, cucumber, celery and lemon. This was super fresh and you have the option of two sizes (16 or 24 oz) - I went with the 16 oz. One of the guys who works there, Dennis, was very friendly and gave a recommendation for the next time I come in. I stopped in again today and ordered the Wide Awake (almond milk, espresso, coffee, banana, peanut butter and vanilla whey protein). This was also delicious. I'm so glad there is a juice bar so close to home! If you haven't been there in a while, it's definitely worth checking out. read more

I love Country Donuts, when they started offering smoothies I was sold on coming regularly. This pandemic has been crazy and walking in with a mask is life now...but can someone please explain to me how everyone, including the workers has to come in with a mask but this girl comes in today when I get my smoothie with my husband and covers her face more than her ass while behind the counter...???? She walks in with an orange hoodie saying "text me when you get home" and wearing these short black shorts that you could barely see that looked like underwear. Everyone stared at her...and my husband and daughter gave this face. She walked behind the counter, and I saw her and was shocked that she was allowed to dress like that. Her mask covered more of her face than her shorts did her ass! Wth was the point of the hoodie??? Who allowed her to go behind the counter like that? I didn't even want my smoothie. #gross read more

The french toast is beyond BLAND.. completely tasteless.. like add something to the batter.. sugar, cinnamon.. something. Doughnuts here are great! I was so sad when the store on Manor road closed and then a d&d opened up. Dunkin doughnuts are mostly air, Country Doughnuts on the other hand have real substance and real flavor. There are places like doughnut plant in Brooklyn and Manhattan that are really great too, but those are around $4 a doughnut. For the value, nobody compares to Country. They just revamped the whole store/bakery into double the size they originally had into a very nice cafe/ juice bar and more... Had the Rabbit Craze and was awesome. Everything is super fresh and atmosphere is very upbeat and clean. Service is totally 5 star experience making sure your happy and if you need anything else. Our new breakfast stop for a busy day!! Went in at 10am with my 3 year old for breakfast and had the skinny girl with purple hair and the loudest most obnoxious voice in the world,give my son a lesson in profanity. As we sat eating,we heard her say the Fword,call herself a bitch and call a coworker whom her sister used to "F*#ck" an aHOLE. Not to mention the girl making my coffee was miserable and seemed annoyed that I was interrupting her convo when I walked up to the counter to place my order. I wrote the owner an email and got no response or call back. Obviously he could care less,that is why his business is a joke. Not sure why some people rave about their coffee. My bf and I just moved here and decided to check this place out after our awesome Verizon technician suggested this place. We're both coffee lovers so we figured why not. I got the iced caramel latte and he got the mocha latte. Meh. We weren't impressed. The donuts were great though. We didn't get anything else other than donuts and coffee so can't comment on the rest of the food. The service was your typical fast food service.
