After being a stay at home Mom for a wonderful year and a half my husband and I decided it was time for me to go back to work and face the heart wrenching decision of placing our son in daycare (something I had never been to fond of). Little did I know it would be the best decision we ever made. I myself grew up at Country Home on Fredricksburg Road and Spring Farm, I remember all the wonderful teachers I had, the amazing fields trips we went on, all the wonderful things I learned,and best of all what great friends I made. When it came time to choose a daycare for our Son I knew in my heart Country Home would be the best option, it is not only walking distance from our home but is also a place I hold dear to me. Seeing as I hadn't been in a Country Home in close to 15 years I definitely wanted to check it out before jumping in head first. Our initial tour was amazing, I couldn't believe how much everything had changed, there's now a water park, an indoor playground, a soda shop, and an actual gym! During our tour it was very informative and reassured me that this is definitely where I wanted my son to go. We registered him that day, I just couldn't wait! On my sons first day of class it was harder for me than him (as that's usually the case). He jumped right in as if he had being going to daycare his whole life, from that point on he has loved ever minute! Every morning we are greeted by countless smiling faces saying "Good morning Ryder!" its amazing that with all the kids that attend there they know him by name, truly makes you feel welcomed and at home. The teachers are second to none! They keep you very informed with your child's progress and treat them as well as their own. When I pick my son up he can't wait to tell me all about his day and all the cool stuff he learned and did. My son's teacher has been a rock helping me potty train as well, I know he would never be where he's at today if it wasn't for her dedication. I have seen my son grow leaps and bounds and can't wait to see what his future at Country Home on Spring Farm holds. I absolutely love Country Home! The staff is wonderful! I had a very hard time going back to work and I was very afraid to leave my son with anyone. I was sad for weeks missing my son but he was happy, playing, and well cared for. He didn't even seem to miss me ha-ha! I called three times a day, and the staff was always happy to check on him for me. KC, Laura, and the office staff sent pictures of him smiling and playing to make me feel better about leaving him. I couldn't believe they went out of their way just to make sure that I knew he was safe and happy!! I honestly do not think that any other facility would do this for parents. My son's teachers are amazing! They greet him everyday with hugs and kisses, and go out of their way to make special keepsakes/gifts for me! This Christmas I received a framed picture of my son in the CUTEST Christmas outfit (that i didn't buy!!), and an ornament for my Christmas tree. It was such a sweet and wonderful surprise. Again, this showed me how involved the teachers/staff are, and what they will do for you and your child. I have no doubt in my mind that my child is not only safe, but happy. Now I am just waiting for my son to get a little older so he can partake in all of the amazing activities the facility offers. I know that the water park is going to be a huge hit. If you are a parent struggling with the idea of putting your child in daycare, I suggest you take a trip to Country Home; it will put your mind at ease. read more

Both of my children have been attending Country Home since they were 3 months old (they're 3 & 5 years now). There is absolutely NOWHERE else that I will take them for childcare. The teachers there are beyond wonderful; they've gone above and beyond for my babies. The turnover rate is extremely low; many of the teachers that watched them grow as infants are still there today, which makes them feel at home throughout the whole facility. My babies are always greeted with smiles and hugs. I have never felt a sense of worry when leaving them for the day because I know they are truly loved. In addition to the love they receive, the curriculum they've created is rigorous and really gets them ready for school. They incorporate academics, art, music, culture and many other aspects into every activity and I could not have done a better job myself (& I'm a teacher! Lol). I recommend this Country Home to absolutely everyone, so much so, that my husband and I have made housing decisions based on being close to this location! If you're debating enrolling your child, do yourself a favor and stop debating! Some people get hung up on the tuition but you get what you pay for and this daycare is priceless! read more

Country Home is the most amazing daycare! I have an infant, and he started out at another learning facility, and I was constantly worried about him. I decided to switch to County Home after many worried morning drop offs. It was the BEST decision. All of my child's teachers are happy and cheerful every day, and I always feel like they truly care about my child as if he were their own. The front office always does a great job at communicating with me, which was one of the most important things to me. I am so excited for my child to grow at Country Home too because there is SOOOOO much for kids to do there. It seems like a resort with their waterpark, putt-putt golf course, and so much more! My favorite thing about Country Home is getting art from my infant. It is so sweet how personal the teachers make it, and it means so much to me. This place is absolutely wonderful. Being that I went to daycare here when I was younger (and have wonderful memories) , I would not send my two kids anywhere else. What is also wonderful is the consistent staff, some being the same teachers I had as a child. Everytime I pick my children up, they talk about the day they had with so much excitement. Whether that being going on a fieldtrip, making playdough in the soda shop, working on a computer or practicing for their next play, they love every part of it!! Even with all the fun and excitement they get to enjoy daily, my favorite part is how much they are learning every single day. My son will be well ready for daycare. I absolutely love this chain of daycares, I wanted my daughter to go to the one on NW military in 2012 but UTSA offered a spot while my husband attended school and then we moved away. When our son was born we tried two other daycares before moving where we could finally attend a country home! And I couldn't be more pleased. They staff knows the kids and you, the teachers are loving and actually teach instead "managing" the kids. They classrooms are fun and full of life and the extra curricular facilities are above all other daycares I've toured. We get tons of art and Progress reports. Over 6 years and 3 states we have used 8 daycares and toured countless more and this is hands down one of my favorites! Worth every penny! read more

Let me write that this location Is very warm and inviting like a home, hence the title Country home. The staff is very pleasant and I very much enjoy Karen's opening line on the telephone of "country home how can I make your day better?" My Daughter attends the 3 year old classroom w Ms. Ana . I can say from the bottom of my heart this teacher is a grandmother to our daughter -treats her as if she were her own flesh and blood. I highly recommend this childcare center. My wife and I were extremely nervous when it was time to go back to work after our baby was born. Our son was colicky and very fussy in the beginning so we were very nervous about leaving him with others. Luckily when we went to this center to tour we found very low teacher turn over which tells a lot about a center as a whole. We knew our son would be in great hands. The front office staff and the teachers were very inviting, great atmosphere! After our sons first week he was a completely different baby. He was less fussy, he was much happier. This learning center is a great childcare center. My nieces started in their toddler program and continued into the afterschool program. I would pick up my nieces and would be greeted by so many familiar faces. The girls previous teachers would always make it a point to say hello to me and the girls each time they saw us. They have such a positive environment for children to grow and thrive in. If you are searching for a trust worthy and affordable daycare, be sure to try this location out. I'm proud to say I work at Country Home Learning Center! I've been a part of the country home family for a little over 4 years now and I truly enjoy going to work everyday. The staff is amazing and the kids are a joy to be around. I always recommend my friends and family to come tour because the facility is just outstanding and there is so much to do for the kids to grow socially, physically and academically. Country Home was the third daycare I visited when trying to find a place for my son. The moment we arrived and met the directors and infant teachers I knew this would be the best place for my son. This center has lower turnover than any other facility and you can tell that the teachers truly enjoy coming in everyday. I have watched my infant develop at an excelled rate due to the daily activities and specialized attention each child receives. I have worked with country home since 2002 I was a preschool teacher and then became the cook I love my job especially when I go into the classrooms to deliver breakfast and lunch and the kids run to me and hug me and are excited to see me! All three of my children have attended country home and I would not want them at any other center!! I get excited when my old kids come to visit me and there now graduating high school to see how much they have grown to young adults!! My son attended Country Home beginning at the age of seven months until we moved when he was seven years old. We loved everything about this place but I am convinced that his perfect score on the math STARR test (3rd grade) is because of the things he learned at Country Home. He got a great start in elementary school because he was a confident child with the social/ emotional and academic skills needed to be successful in school. I love Country Home. My daughter has been here at this location since 2016. The Directors are wonderful and very accommodating to your children's needs. The teachers are very informative and caring. They provide excellent instructional curriculum and my 3 y/o daughter learns something new everyday. They have amazing play areas indoor and outdoor on the hot sunny days as well as a gym for their gym classes and other functions. The pool is amazing as well. Great school for kiddos! read more

My son who is 4 has been coming here for over a year. He loves coming here and all the activities and field trips he gets to experience. Especially the pool and slide they have during the summer. I Love watching my former CH children grow up and to see them enroll their children because they know how great we are. The Teachers are excellent and give lots of Love and attention to the Children.
