It was the worst decision I have ever made for my child. The first day my toddler was bitten by another child so harshly. That next time my baby was shaking when we walked into that room. There is no even an email available from this facility to contact and request a report. More over I told them to call me immediately and they didn't, waited till I came to pick child up. They Did not explained me anything. Did not probide me any report. My toddler first day away from the parents and was viciously attacked. He got phivologic trauma, he keeps crying when I am not next to him, screaming mama mama at night. I got myself into nightmare after this daycare. I would not recommend it. read more

My daughter started daycare in March of this year. Yesterday, August 22, was her last day as i've decided yesterday evening when I was informed of her THIRD incident within thirty days. This incident resulted in a cut right above my daughter's eye and black and blue bruising with a lump. She was just moved up to another classroom one week ago. And on her first week in that class , she came home with a bruise on her forehead. Also, in that class, there is a new staff member by the name of Savannah, that I witnessed snatching a toy out of my daughter's hand TWICE on my daughters first day in that class upon picking her up. Her personality was far from friendly. And as a parent, that did not make me feel comfortable. I informed front office of this. Not sure if they did anything about it, because she still carried an unfriendly attitude. I also noticed that my daughter was hesitant to go in that classroom when I would drop her off. She never hesitated to enter her previous classroom. So that alarmed me. In regards to the Incident that has made me come to the decision of not sending my baby back, the daycare called me and left a voicemail on August 22, stating that my daughter had an accident that resulted in her right eye getting a cut, blue and purple bruising and a lump. But they lied on the voicemail and said it was her eyebrow. It was right above her eye. They provided an incident report to my daughter's father. Even though, my daughter's father picked her up, I was so disturbed and unfocused at work about the situation, that I left and went up there. i requested the previous incident reports so that way I can take them all to the board and make a report. The staff by the name of Annette told me that they do not have those reports anymore. They also informed my daughter's father that they shred the reports one week after occurrence. However, I discovered that they lied as there was a binder in their office labeled "Accident Reports". I requested that they write and provide me of the 2 previous incidents that caused my child to have a bruised forehead in both previous occasions. They provided them to me before on the days of occurrence, however, I disposed of them, which I shouldn't have done. They told me they could not provide me with the incident reports, which I am confused as to why they can not, as they have provided them to me before. I repeatedly asked them to provide those reports. Finally, Ashley, the assistant director, instructed Keiondra to write the incident report again , until Ashley decided to change her mind and call the Director, Herlinda. Herlinda told the staff not to provide me any reports. I asked why because they've given me incident reports before because it's their policy. so why the change? they lied and said they didn't have the reports and then proceed to pull out the binder after I spotted it. seems to me not only they lied to try to cover evidence , but are not cooperative to provide me with those reports that they once gave me and I have a right to have. I will be contacting the state licensing board to report them. child abuse happens EVERYDAY and a lot of people don't know. it's bad enough that facility doesn't have cameras that show live footage. I was told they only "stream". Also, this recent incident with the cut on her eye has happened on Savannah's watch. As a parent, I read reviews a lot. And I did read previous reviews on this facility and there were some negative ones. However, I was considerate enough to think that maybe some parents wrote reviews just to bluff because there are people like that. And I was naive enough to think that would never happen to my child because I will make sure to let them know that my child's safety is EVERYTHING to me. However, I feel I failed as a parent because I trusted complete strangers to care for my child just for them to fail her and me. Herlinda, the director, let's just say she shows NO compassion whatsoever. I've brought my concerns to her attention several times and instead of receiving assurance and compassion for my concerns, she's instead, COMBATIVE. I've addressed that to her before. And even my daughter's father noticed on his own and had to address that to her. These are people's children they are caring for. Innocent, happy, little beings that aren't supposed to know nothing of horrible human beings because they are too swamped with love care and affection. I advise all parents not to send your children here. The other reviews aren't lies. Take precaution. Child neglect and abuse happens every day and a lot of the times silently, and people will do their best to cover themselves. This facility are those people. read more

Our daughter loves going to daycare! The staff is warm and always ready to assist. She enjoys the exciting trips to Adventure Quest and the fun times on the playground. Overall good experience. Most teachers are friendly and great. They are good overall with communication especially about concerns (ie diaper rashes). Only dissatisfaction is the extra fees which were not communicated to me until after my daughter was registered. They charge extra for breakfast which I signed up for but learned months later they weren't giving her because they didn't have her on the breakfast list. That crushed me to hear that my daughter had been hungry when I was unnecessarily making sure she was on time for breakfast every day. read more

I recommend this day care. My wife and I had our 3 kids we took care of .Durning that time they had so much fun. Country home would update us on everything as requested. Our kids did get sick a lot but it happens at any day care. They value parents wishes and answered me every time I would call to check up on them. No matter how may times a day I would call they would always give me a happy response. Grateful to know we could bring our next babies here! read more

I cannot recommend Country Home Learning Center enough! This location is filled with compassionate and caring teachers. I love that Country Home provides trainings and mentoring for all the teachers throughout the year, so I can trust that the teachers are up-to-date on new educational strategies and health policies (especially with Covid still hanging around). There are always plenty of activities for every age group going on, and the curriculum here is adaptable for every class and child! I would give it additional stars if I could. read more

Horrible management. My daughter unsupervised and the staff does the bear minimum. Dirty and full of germs. My daughter has never been sick so many times in her 3 years of life. We have always had great experiences at other places but not here. It is a complete disaster. I very rarely give bad reviews and always try to give the benefit of doubt. However after 3 very concerning experiences we pulled our child out immediately. They even refused to give me a incident report. They knew I would report it so they had me come in the next week to sign it before it got back to the state. It's sad to see the upper level management not care about the kids safety and well-being. Never before have I experienced such terrible childcare. STAY AWAY!!! read more

My baby girl has been going here for about 6 months now. I always feel like she's well taken care of and I don't have to worry while I'm working. I call and check on her daily and the staff is always more than happy to provide an update on my baby girls day. The teacher are the best part of this place. All my childs teachers were great, positive, and caring people. I always felt my child was safe and taken care of.The place has great amenities but is it worth the cost I'm not sure. There are additional fees outside of tuition e.g., ABC mouse access $11/month, credit card fees to pay tuition, and supply fees twice a year $75 each. If your child gets sick, goes on vacation, or the facility closes on holidays or during unprecedented event s(remember snovid) the tuition is still due. The worst part of this place is the director Herlinda. The way she treats the employees is abhorrent. For example, one day I overheard her call back to get a count from a class. After the employee responded via intercom she turns to the other ladies up front to say "oh she can't count". This was not the only time I overheard the director say disparaging comments about her employees. She is incredibly rude and condescending with employees and parents. For someone that has a pretty cushy job up front while the employees do the bulk of the work you'd think she'd treat them w more dignity and respect. The sad part is that I've seen other parents post similar comments about her and yet she's still in charge. I can't imagine working for someone like her. Ruling w an iron fist doesn't make for a good work environment which might explain some of the turnover. This place is clean, safe, and pleasant for the kids. I dont know if I can say the same for the employees. Country home owners please do better for your employees and cut the cancer out. read more

We have been so grateful for Country Home over the past year. Obviously it hasn't been easy for anyone, but the Country Home staff has made it all the more comfortable! The teachers and front office staff are communicative via note or email, and they are always willing to answer my questions if I have them at drop-off, pick-up, or over the phone. I truly appreciate the mask policy from the staff to the requirements for parents to ensure my kid is as safe as he can be. As to be expected, kids get sick. The staff has been very transparent about exposures in classrooms, which is so appreciated so we can make informed decisions. They love on my kiddo which I love! read more

I opted to go with another daycare because I have seen first hand the act of rewarding their employees with gift cards for positive reviews. I don't agree with it and have voiced this. How am I as a parent supposed to get an honest assessment about a daycare if they are buying reviews. We moved here because it is close to our home. There is very little communication from the school. They promised me photos and we lasted a month with them and I never received one photo for either of my children. My older son started having accidents and told me he was scared of the bathroom, I attempted to talk to the teacher with no help and no responses. The last week my son came home with multiple bruises on his chest and arm with no incident reports done. They had technology difficulties one day and didn't give me a paper sheet for the day. They have indoor locks on the doors for the 3 year old classes which seems like a fire hazard. I was told my son would be rotating through 3 different activity centers and due to it being summer time he never left his classroom. We were not allowed to step foot into his classroom, otherwise the teacher would yell at us. My toddler got worse with drop off as the weeks went on, not better. Overall I did not feel like my kids were safe or taken care of while here. read more

This daycare is AMAZING! My soon to be 3 year old has been here for almost a year and I've never once had a problem with them. The teachers are fantastic! They basically did all her potty training and we were off diapers way sooner than I expected. The front desk is always welcoming. The staff there are ALL very personable and VERY friendly. My son has been in attendance for the past few months and is learning so much from his teacher(s). I love love love this school. My son has been going here for the better part of a year and the staff is completely adorable. I truly don't understand the last couple of reviews stating that kids have been unattended with diaper issues... they are STRICT about their diaper tending and very consistent about potty training in the two year old classes. My boy is going to be potty trained in the next couple of weeks and I am thrilled about it. The recreation activities are stellar. Every half hour, they do something different with the kids and there is fresh art DAILY from my boy. they even got him to stop eating play dough... which had become his 5th food group...I love that next year, when he's all potty trained and three years old, he gets to play in the water park!!! I've come for pop in visits, because that's what a good parent is supposed to do, and found the class in the theatre, watching a super movie or playing in the indoor playground, or wearing their little butts out outside in one of several playgrounds that are just neat as tricks. I have also come around for meal/nap time to see the process of getting the brood to sleep... I love it. Hooray to toddler wrangling... They do it well!!! His teachers are such amazing, kind folks. He talks about them all the time at home and I absolutely feel the love in this place. I think that the director has a fine head for the business on her shoulders and runs this place with the professional style necessary to be successful. More so than that, the children all just love her. I have lingered during busier pickup and drop-off times to see the interaction with staff and tenants, and I've been thoroughly impressed. And Mr. Sam is my kid's favorite person on the planet. I adore this school. They are the best. I'm impressed. read more

My two one year olds attend this daycare and they LOVE it. The rooms are clean and wonderfully decorated and stocked with age appropriate toys, tables, bins,etc. The staff is amazing!! Both my 1 year olds require therapy services through ECI and this daycare is so flexible and inviting with the therapists. I can tell when my babies have had a great day because when I pick them up and I hold them they just relax in my arms and that is what they do when they feel safe and loved and have been cared for. My boy has been attending country home on NW millitary since he was an infant. He's now 2 and we love the school. The teachers really work with the children. He's always coming home from school with new songs or skills. When my toddler started biting, the staff tried a lot tricks to stop the habit. They eventually moved him to a new classroom and the problem stopped. It was so nice to have teachers working WITH your child to help solve a problem. read more

After a year of my kids going to Country Home, I must say I am impressed and glad we went with the decision to send them here. The location is convenient for my family and drop off and pick up are a breeze. The teachers are so sweet and friendly with both of my kids, even if they aren't in their class. I have been weary sending them to school since COVID, but have found the place to be clean and sanitized to where I feel safe sending my kids here and have not had any issues. There is also good communication between staff and myself and husband if we have any question over anything. The daily reports let us know how our kids were throughout the day, what they ate, and how they napped - all great info, and my kids are always so excited to go to school every day! read more

Best learning center in San Antonio, my son when he first started wasn't walking yet nor talking, within 2-3 weeks of him being there his teachers worked with him and he began taking steps and babbling a whole lot more! Country home isn't just a learning center it's more than that it's like another family my son is always taken care of and in good hands, the staff is amazing and there is so many activities for the kids to do! This center has a horrible director Herlinda and associate director Kelsey. My children came here and my son had unexplained injuries on his face. When I talked to the director and her assistant they said they would talk to the teachers but they never told me anything after that. My son always had a rash because they don't really change diapers they just mark their daily report saying they did. Overpriced and overrated.Steer clear of this place. read more

I love Country Home. I started with my kids at the Spring Branch location, but due to work and school moved my youngest over to the NW Military location. I could not be happier. He loves his teachers and new friends. The front office is very friendly and helpful and truly care about the kiddos. I read quite a bit about turnover at day cares with teachers which is so hard on the kids, but I do not experience that at Country Home. They take care of the people taking care of our kids and it shows. Plan on taking my oldest to the summer camp there as well. read more

I absolutely love this daycare. Being a first time mom your worries are at an all time high but taking my daughter here was the best decision. After switching my daughter to this daycare she has learned so much. In fact the teachers are very polite, knowledgeable, and patient . The daycare is always kept cleaned to ensure optimal safety. My son started at Country Home when he was 4 months and is now on the verge of turning of 2 in September. My husband and I love it here! My son knows so much already - his colors and most of the letters, and can count to 10. He knows so many animal sounds, and most days he is teaching us what he learned. Just yesterday, he told me how an alligator sounds (clapping his hands and saying "chomp chomp"); well, his daily record said they learned about alligators that day. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are all great. On the few times we have had an issue - as no place is perfect, and our son was biting - the director and staff really worked with us to figure out why/when he was doing it so we could find a solution. read more

We love this daycare. They offer a large variety of fun learning activities for the children. Every time you walk in the building you are greeted with "Good morning or Good afternoon" not just by the front office staff, but by any teacher you see in the halls. They have an amazing group of teachers. For example, there is Ms. Bea she is always very helpful and friendly and you can see she loves working with two year olds. There is also Ms. Cynthia she is very loving and cares for all the children in her care she makes her job look like a lot of fun.
