We were the only guests this past weekend. It is on a nice, quiet residential street and we parked on the street in front. Louie was very hospitable and friendly, explaining everything we needed to know about staying in his house. There are also a lot of informational notices about the house rules around, such as what is included in breakfast and tips. The house is very cozy and clean; our bed was comfortable. The bathroom very clean as well. There is also a half-bath on the main floor. He has some high-end perks, including a Dyson fan in our bedroom that I appreciated as I normally sleep with a fan on. The lamp has charging outlets. Breakfast is DIY, offering hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, juice, bread for toast, granola, oatmeal, bananas, and granola bar-type snacks. The coffee station has a fancy coffee maker with several coffee packet selections for an extra fee of $2 and up. He has Chobani creamer in the fridge (yum). There are also cold drinks in a glass-front cooler for extra charges, and you can use Venmo or cash. I bought a bottle of Norka root beer (Akron spelled backwards) to take home. We did not use the hot tub in the backyard, but there is an extra charge to use. It is large enough for multiple people. He has a seating area on the back patio as well. Louie does an excellent job of making guests feel at home.

The fresh fruit, the homemade scones, the eggs and bacon...this isn't the wimpy continental breakfast you get at a hotel. This is a 4-star "I'm probably skipping lunch" breakfast, prepared by folks who clearly know what they're doing. This past weekend was perfect weather wise. Upper 70's with 60's at night. The only negative with that was it was almost too cold to swim. The water in the pool was freezing cold. We tried to stay in as long as we could but it was sharp. The big slide wasn't working properly so that was kind of a bummer. Great all around staff. You have a special thing with Ranger Dan. He's a great worker, great customer service and always driving around saying hello and checking in. Saw him numerous times and each time was always a friendly gesture and conversation. Kept us up to date with the activities, along with the piece of paper. Putt putt was a great clean course. Kind of challenging. Didn't use majority of the playground amenities but they have a ton and it's in a great big area. The ice cream stand had Hershey's ice cream and UNBELIEVABLE Root Beer. The pizza we tried was pretty good as well. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and nice. The only negatives I could give besides cold pool ( nothing to do about that ) is the water is Well water so it had the sulphur smell so brushing and showering had an odor. The activities were plentiful, always had a big calendar or events and theme weekends. The activities they had planned just seemed lackluster and rushed. Younger staff doing many of the skits, seemed half assed and rushed it not a ton of thought into the activity. We never really saw any of the Bears walking around but we would hear that they were out and about. We raised our family at Jellystone so this will always have a symbolic and nostalgic feel. They literally would make things better by saying we need to bring clear bags so they can make sure we aren't bringing in glass or alcohol. I appreciate the rules but I'm an adult and I don't need some 16 year old ruining everything I packed. Secondly they got rid of the obstacle course in lieu of a diving board. The pool itself needs some repair. The way the bottom is, it makes the water look dirty. The water actually was full of bugs and leaves. The pool is small for 19.00 per person. It's a fine place to cool off but overall it has changed to only accommodate young children and older teens will more than likely not be impressed.

Back then parents raised kids right and trusted them. My friend and I carried knives that were basically dull and couldn't cut a banana. At Cutty's Sunset they had a "cage" that was pulled behind a tractor. It was used for their hay rides. My friend and I went to look at it the night we got there and a few other kids showed up. We talked for a while, and went our own way. We were really looking forward to that hay ride the next night. All the sudden the next day the "cage wagon" had a flat tire and the kids we met said that we "slashed" the tire with our knives. The ride was canceled and the cops showed up. They wanted to arrest us. It wasn't until my Dad took both knives and demonstrated that even HE couldn't get one of those knives to puncture the tire, that the cops let us go. A short while later Someone looked at the tire and found out it hadn't been slashed, it had a bad valve stem and the air leaked out. We were told to leave and never come back. Terrible place.

Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

The ice bucket was dirty and still contained a used liner with water in it. The tub was not clean, and the sheets appeared dirty and so thin you could practically see through them. When I finally got through, I was told someone would bring us toilet paper and a clean ice bucket "as soon as they could" because they were busy checking in guests. While I understand they were busy, these issues should have been addressed before the room was rented to anyone. At that point, we didn't feel comfortable using the drinking glasses or other items in the room because cleanliness was already a concern. The dinner buffet was acceptable if you're simply looking for a buffet, but ordering a regular meal was disappointing. The breakfast buffet was also very underwhelming. Overall, this was not the quality of stay we expected for the price we paid, and unfortunately, we would not stay here again

Our room was in need of a complete renovation. The air conditioning only worked when it felt like it so we had to open the windows on 2 of the nights just to cool down enough to sleep. In addition, this is the first hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have a clock in the room or a microwave. The shower curtain rod was severely rusted and the toilet seat had been recently replaced but the nylon bolts used to secure it were the wrong size which didn't allow the covers to close over them.
