But it took us by a food stand where we purchased some food to take to our hotel which was still 10 miles away. It was going on 7:30 pm so it was helpful to grab the food and crash at The hotel. Little did we know that there was a small strip mall anchored with a grocery store across the street from the hotel. But grabbing the carne food was a treat. I was surprised when I walked into the lobby as it was bright and welcoming. From the reviews I was expecting an older model. We have just spent 16 nights in hotels and this one was pretty good in comparison. The front desk clerk was engaging when we checked in. Our room had an updated bathroom with a walk in shower and higher toilets. Something a few of the others were lacking. I have an injured knee and hip so this is welcomed. The king size suite was roomy. It was a bit warm in the room but my husband figured out "the system" and I was cold waking up. One of the hardest sleeps I've had in a few days. Breakfast was the usual for these hotels. My husband went down for a breakfast of biscuits and gravy, sausage and scrambled eggs. He remarked that they had Captain Crunch-a cereal he hasn't seen in years. We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel.

There were pantry-like shelves but there was not enough hangers and drawers for two people for five days of clothes. I hate living out of a suitcase. That said, the staff was great. The breakfast options were decent. And I love their lotion and soap products. But the walls are pretty thin. Thumping, talking, and TVs late into the night. I appreciated the amenities - laundry, pool, exercise room. And snacks (fruit, cookies, fruit-infused water). Overall, a good value.

We visited to celebrate our 4 year anniversary and can say that our stay was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The Mansion was nicely decorated for Christmas, which added to that charming feel. Also, the staff was friendly and so attentive. We stayed during an outside work event, so it felt like we had place to ourselves. We lucked out with private dining for dinner in the pub and used the heated indoor and outdoor pools by ourselves. The food served for dinner (steak with potato gratin & asparagus; and coquille saint Jacques) and breakfast (egg soufflé and waffles) was top-notch. We also loved the Victorian Era feel in our bedroom and bathroom. Overall, if you're looking for a romantic weekend or an experience at an upscale Inn, then the Sebring Mansion is a great choice!

Not the…read morenicest HIX I've stayed at but definitely better than most and their weeknight rate was very affordable. Front desk staff was very friendly and fast. The room was smallish but clean and well lit, the beds comfortable (new?) and towels were nice and soft. The bathroom showed a little age and could have used a brighter bulb but the shower is good for tall folks like me. Bathroom is "split" with the shower & commode in a powder room and the sink outside. Good for couples - one can brush teeth and put on makeup while other showers. Climate control worked well as did the TV remote which had a sleep timer (I like this feature). The room also had a Keurig, a microwave, and a good sized refrigerator. Pool was out of service this visit but that wasn't a problem for me. It looks like the pool is also equipped with a way to get wheelchair folks down into the pool - very thoughtful touch. Their workout room is small (they all are) but clean and the equip all worked good Breakfast was standard fare for HIX - breakfast room was a little bigger than some others I've seen so that was nice. The attendant was working hard to make sure everyone had what they needed and the tables and serving areas were I wouldn't give this hotel five stars - probably four and a half but yelp doesn't let me do that so I'll rate it four stars PLUS. I was assured that I would get a discount on my bill for the days there was no hot water - which was all 4 days - and a week later there is still no adjustment on my bill. Talking to manager was futile and insulting. Can't get in touch with anyone higher up in the company. Do not stay at this hotel. It is mediocre at best and certainly not worth the $500+ dollars for 3 and a half days.

Thankfully Comfort Inn was able to accommodate our stay for the ProFootball Hall of Fame weekend. This location was about 20 minutes from the museum and downtown area as well. Mejier, Walmart Supercenter, Dollar Tree, Applebees, Starbucks, Raising Canes, Bob Evan's, Jersey Mikes... so many good places around the inn for food or supplies if needed. I really want to highlight the customer service at the Inn. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and for that I'm grateful! Thank you!!

It is a little difficult to find as it's behind the mall or what's left of it. The potholes on this road are HORRIBLE. I have a Jeep and my car could barely handle the drive. I have lived with potholes my whole life and have never seen some quite like these. You truly can't even drive around them. The lobby was very spacious and I was pleased to see the pool and hot tub were open. The elevators were a little difficult to find and the front desk wasn't much help. My boyfriend made the comment he never realized anybody was there all weekend as they sat in the back. The room looked fairly clean aside from the stained carpet. There were stains in every color possible. We did not use the microwave or fridge, so I cannot speak for those. We had our room set to 66, but it still did not seem to be cool enough. I was disappointed to find breakfast was still limited to sandwiches, granola bars, yogurt, and coffee. My boyfriend was not a fan of the coffee. Overall, it was a decent stay, but it's not one of the best I've stayed at.
