We haven't been here in a number of years. Decided to give it a try because my granddaughter wanted ham. She got the baked ham dinner, I got the baked pork chops with gravy and my husband got a burger. The service was great. The place hasn't changed much in the past few years since had been here, still a cute diner style. The food awesome! I am not normally someone who orders pork chops but I am so glad that I did. Service was very friendly and quick. Had about a 15 minute wait for a table on a Sunday morning. Food was overall good. Biscuit was delicious (just wish they had honey for it), hash brown casserole was very good and ham was tasty (if a bit thin). Only disappointment were the scrambled eggs. By no means were they bad just bland. Not sure if I'll stop again as other breakfast spots are pretty good without the wait. A nice, clean place with very good service. I ordered the cheese burger without a bun and a sweet potato. The hamburger patty was small, but at least they included all the toppings. They accidentally gave me a baked potato, but quickly replaced it with the sweet potato l wanted. It was a nice experience and I recommend it when in the area. read more

This is a very nice, clean establishment. There is plenty of spacing between customers. All staff was very nice. I love the fact that you can have breakfast anytime of the day if you want. The menu has many options to choose from. For our day out, hubby got the steak and eggs. I got the western omelet. We shared a slice of goetta- and wow what a big slice! It was very good. My omelet was delicious. Hubby said his steak was seasoned very well and cooked to order. We both thought the hashbrown casserole was just so-so... seasoning was definitely off. I was so excited to try this restaurant for breakfast! Perhaps they were low on staff in the kitchen. The restaurant was half full and looked well staffed. The western omelette was warm and almost lacking cheese... According to pictures, the side of goetta looked to be a huge portion, and it did cover the plate but was cut so very thin and no "crisp" to it . We waited at least 15 minutes for our food, maybe longer. I ordered coffee and not once was it refilled even though I was promised, "I'll be right back." I usually drink about 3 mugs while dining a breakfast meal but finally asked for a to go cup as we were leaving. The strawberry pancake across the way look delicious. I forgot pictures. This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. Greeted with a smile, very warm atmosphere. Our server, Amasia, was VERY good. We wanted for nothing. She was very polite, courteous, and a darn good server. My husband and I always try to search out restaurants that are not a chain restaurant and they most generally have fried chicken. This was the same for the Country Inn. We ordered the chicken, and it was possibly the BEST we've ever had. Prices are good and portions were good as well. We have decided that this will be our new "go to" place. We only live about an hour away so the trip will definitely be worth it. If your in the Mt. We both Ordered the grilled chicken, with baked potato. Once the meal was served with one bite the chicken was undercook. After tracking down our waitress we showed how the chicken was under cooked; she took the plates (chicken and potatoes). Came back a few minutes and asked if we still wanted the grilled chicken or anything of equal value from the menu. We asked for the grilled chicken. BAD CHOICE!!! Returned with the grilled chicken but no baked potatoes. Asked where the potato were, said couldn't reserve them; we said he added butter and sour cream and took 2-bites before returning the food. Waitress was like oh well and never offered to replace them. Basically take it leave it. Cut into the chicken still under cooked. We asked for a bill and a box, I guess we'll have to cook the chicken. Poor customer service, will NEVER return. read more

I've been to this restaurant a few times and I think my time going there has come to an end. Let me start with the goods, this place is super clean which makes it kind of refreshing to sit down in, plus the set up is spacious and not to crammed and over all it makes me want to be there. Another plus is you can have have breakfast any time of the day which is huge in my book because half the time I'm craving breakfast while my husband is craving dinner foods. And lastly, the waitress and waiters and manager seemed very friendly, I observed the manager checking on everyone often to make sure everything was okay. So after all this pros why would I be hesitant to return? Well unfortunately the food is what's kind of doing it for me, my husband and I both got potato soup off the salad bar last night to go with out meals, I also got some pasta salad. Oddly we both noticed the soup and salad had a insane amount of salt in it, so much salt that we did try to finish our food to prevent waste but we got so sick from the salt that we couldn't eat our dinners which we did take bites and those were salty as well. I understand it was probably the cook on duty but good lord we mentioned the salt problem to the waitress who just laughed in a friendly way not in a mocking way, she just didn't know what to say or handle the situation. We packed up our uneaten food and just decided to pitch it when we got home. We didn't get our moneys worth at all. The first time I came here it was fine, the second time I went there is was so-so but I think last night might be the straw that breaks the camels back for us. First time here, we loved it! Great value here, a meal includes 2 sides and the salad bar! Highly recommend the potato soup it was excellent.
