Nice historical building with a comfortable vibe. It was a little smaller than expected and a little warm. The upstairs was interesting to see as were the old bathrooms. Most of the food was decent with the corn fritters and chicken parm standing out. Our waitress was super nice and easily handled our larger group of 8.

The food at Schoolhouse Restaurant is amazing. The hand breaded chicken tenders were moist and tasty paired with creamacaroni & cheese. And fresh made Cole slaw left us quite satisfied. They have a nice goat farm and store so the kids had a great time.

Home style meal that satisfied my hardy apatight. The chicken fried steak was amazing. The mashed potatoes were amazing.

I love historical restaurants and this was a gem! The food is what comfort food dreams are made of! I got the fried chicken was it was delicious. Sides include: corn bread, corn, green beans, salad, Coleslaw, and mash potatoes and gravy. I left about 2 pounds heavier

Went here as it's a DDD. Had fried chicken for entree. They bring salad, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans and cornbread for everyone and it goes in a lazy Susan in the middle of the table. All the food was great. Cornbread was exceptional!

Good is pretty good. I don't think the sides are fresh ( I think they use can green beans, instant mash potatoes, and either can or frozen corn) corn bread is good. Expensive for the quantity and product. Slow service. Unique and cool restaurant with a lot of history. Indoor and outdoor seating. Games outside. Goats onsite. General store that has goat food.

Food was good and so was the service. The restaurant is very small . Also I know it sounds petty but parking is gravel and it was muddy.

We had the best time in this old time family style restaurant. The authentic schoolhouse ambience was worth it..

We've been there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Not only is the food great, but it's also fun to tour the schoolhouse.

One friend got the buffalo mac, the other got the teriyaki chicken with rice and broccoli. Both were very happy with their orders!! I ordered the teriyaki salmon with a side house salad with raspberry vinaigrette and mac n cheese. I'm not a big vinaigrette girly, so I'm not sure what came over me to order it, but it was DELICIOUS. 0% bitter and the slightest hint of sweetness - I was in love. The salmon was cooked wonderfully and the glaze had a sweet hint of something that I couldn't fully pinpoint (pineapple chunks, perhaps?) The mac n cheese was the low point of my meal and not even because it was bad...just because it wasn't anything to write home about. I totally will go back and it was very much worth the visit!! **can't remember how allergy friendly conditions were for the meals. Double check their menu before you go!

It was all good :) I have not tried Mahi Mahi before so I can't say how it compares to other restaurants. I will have to try their desserts in the future! This place is an experience! My bff lives in Florida and every time she comes in town she has to have dinner here at least once during her visit. The bite flight is a great starter. The salmon is amazing, gator bites, salads, sandwiches. Seriously, everything is absolutely delicious! And it's a BYOB place which is great. Seating inside and out. Service is always great. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough. You can thank me later!

I was with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while, and chose to sit outside. This is a perfect place to have a long lunch as they don't care if you stay and visit (we were there for over 2 hours). Our service was good and very friendly. We ordered the fish sandwich with mixed vegetables, and the chicken Caesar sandwich with fries. They were able to blacken my chicken instead of fried chicken, which I appreciated. I also wanted to have my side be onion rings, but they said they couldn't make a side of those, so I ordered the appetizer of onion rings. Holy smokes the serving was HUGE! They were also some of the best onion rings I have had. The sandwiches were cooked perfectly, and the side of broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus was fantastic. We also ordered iced tea, and it comes in a very large Mason jar and was brewed fresh. Yum. I have read some reviews about dinner that were not as favorable, but for a leisurely lunch, this place cannot be beat and was worth our drive.
