My husband and I had an amazing experience! the loaded nachos with chili were next level--not your regular chips, but freshly cut tortillas that made all the difference. The flavors were incredible, and the dish was easily one of the best we've ever had. We also had an amazing buffalo pizza and their sliders with garlic fries. 10/0 On top of that, the service was excellent, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. I also want to clear up a common misconception: this restaurant is open to the public! You don't have to be staying at the resort to enjoy this spot, and more people should know about it. This place is little hard to find...it is located as a part of Camp Cedar but open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place is less then a minute off I-71 and definitely worth stopping in. After you "find" this place, you'll be surprised at just how beautiful this restaurant is. I had the CAMPFIRE Burger and fries. This delicious burger is served with a 1/2 pound patty, Applewood smoked bacon, a crispy fried onion ring, smoked gouda, BBQ sauce, lettuce, tomato and pickles. The service was phenomenal. They were very attentive and the food was cooked quickly, yet fresh. They are newly open to the public. They weren't crowded at all and I was surprised to see this as the food was and service were very good. If you stop in here, let me know what you think. read more

Another case of under staffing I am sure. Our server was pleasant & comical, but he was also tending bar & taking care of other orders. There were also others tending bar too. The bar was full. We were the only party of 5 in the dining room. And it was about 8:15 pm. The ambiance was lovely in the dining room. Fireplaces-2 leather couches near 1 with a table between, pool tables, large screen tv, high ceilings, warm & cozy. Thank goodness for all this comfy space & being the only ones in the dining room. The toddler was able to sit on the couch & play with the checkers (missing some.) We ordered our food. After waiting 45 minutes & an apology for getting slammed (????), we decided to leave with the 2 year old & 2 month old. As we were getting into our cars, the server ran out & told us the food was ready. One of our party boxed it up & paid. We took it back to the hotel. Thank goodness I keep napkins & utensils in my car. The food was actually good! Too bad we couldn't have eaten it at the restaurant, when it was still warm. The burger & fries got a . The nacho were made with really good, thick, crispy chips (not like Tostitos.) The child's pizza was eaten, & I enjoyed my House salad. The Ranch dressing was excellent. There was only one person who was unhappy with the food. It was the Chopped Salad. The dressing was mixed in the salad, instead of on the side. I would recommend this place for the folks staying at the resort or camp ground, if you want to get away from your site. But you may have to wait a while. I would not recommend it to people staying in another area wanting a nice meal that doesn't take a very long time. Outback is less than a 1/2 mile away. read more

This place was recommended to my wife and I. I felt bad for the server, he was new and obviously had not been trained. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that was supposed to have coleslaw on it. When it came it was plain so I asked the server and was told they ran out of coleslaw so he was told to bring me some sauce. The sauce was not a good pairing. The chicken was good, disappointed that they didn't know they don't have part of the sandwich that makes it what it is. If you have kids, it's probably a fun place to go. Had line dancing tonight I was a little nervous I was by myself but wanted to try something new and it was a blast tracy who was in charge of that event really knows what she is doing. So I have been wanting to give this place a try for sometime now. My plans got scrapped so I decided tonight was the night. The interior is nice and the staff is extra nice. I had no idea what to expect so when I looked at the menu, I should not have been underwhelmed but I was. I decided to try the Buffalo chicken dip. It came out with a great presentation. Wow, after a couple initial bites my mouth was on fire. I was not able to finish because it became uncomfortably hot and I generally eat medium wings so can take some heat. Then I ordered the patty melt and opted to upgrade the side of Saratoga chips to onion rings. First off I was disappointed that it had indicated on wheat instead of rye but I opted anyway. When the sandwich came, again nice presentation. My first thought of the onion rings was Kroger frozen onion rings. They came with a ranch on the side which was tasty. It helped cover up the frozen onion rings. The sandwich was tasty and if it would have been served on rye bread it might have earned them another star. Overall it's an ok place and perfect for the campers here but not necessarily a place for locals to come eat. If you happen to be staying at Camp Cedar then give it a try, otherwise, you might want to skip it or try it out if something on the menu is appealing. Until next time, cheers! read more

This is the worst place I have ever eaten. The food was all microwaved! The chicken sandwich was a frozen patty that was drowned in horrible sauce. Whats on the menu isn't what you're going to get. Very expensive for frozen meals re heated.... McDonald's is 10x better than this place read more

This is the worst place I have ever eaten. The food was decent for cold food and the fact that I ordered chips, not fries, which fries are an upsale, and I asked for no tomato or onion on my burger. But that was the least of the disappointment as I can take the tomato and onion off and I wasn't charged for the fries. This is a small restaurant, and there was not enough staff to suit their needs. When we wanted to order a chicken wrap we were told they didn't think they had those but they could check and it would be a longer wait for us to have them find out. But it had already been a long time to get our order in so we just went with our second choice. The wait was terribly long to order and to receive our food. We actually saw our food in the "elevator" come up but there was no person to take the food off the elevator and bring it to us. Members of my party were just going to hit the button and take it, but I stopped them, thinking maybe it wasn't ours and I didn't want to make anyone else wait longer if we took their food. When we told the waitress we thought our food was on the elevator, she said "I hope not because if it is, it going to be cold." She had no idea our food was ready. She gave no discount even though she knew it was cold and we were given fries for $1.50 extra a plate. The waitress was inattentive and at first kept telling us it was "coming right up" but 45 minutes later we were still waiting. I don't mind paying $15 for a burger and fries if the portion is worth it and it's warm, but this was terrible. read more

Beautiful setting, great poolside option, and nice plates/tables/chairs/etc... but that's about all the good there is. No one at the bar and the window was setting open with flies circling uncovered pitchers, no one to be seen when we first walked in, and very little communication from the waiter. No flatware given and the pizza was only cut halfway through. Kids menu item had seasoned fries and some white things floating in the tea that we had to wait on to even get. Wouldn't recommend unless you just want an expensive pretty view. read more
