First time back to this park in over 30 years. Beautiful day, spent time with my mom. Great paved 2 mile area to walk, bike or skate. Plenty of seating along the route, trees, lakes, fishing, paddle boats, zip line, indoor carousel, zoo, nature.

My favorite park located in Greensboro- I come here to clear my mind and go for a nice walk. The park is always clean. Many other visitors have dogs, children, bikes, etc. This is the spot for it all. It's directly beside the science center as well. The trail is a nice length and it connects to shelters, playgrounds, benches, dog parks, basketball court, tennis court baseball field, and etc. Playground: A playground is located near the lake of the Nathanael Green Dr entrance.

Country Park is just another excellent area of greenery in north Greensboro where there is no shortage of places to walk, bike, sit, play, whatever you like to do outdoors. Back in the day when it was a big thing, I'd cruise the loop here and snag lots of virtual pokemon. The park is very large, with a nice lake right in the center of it that is the main recreation area. There are playgrounds for the kids, picnic shelters for gatherings rentable from the city at a cheap rate, fishing areas, paddleboating when the weather is appropriate, and just flat green space for field games. It adjoins to two others parks, one of which is a federal park where the Battle of Guilford Courthouse took place, and the other a very athletic oriented one (Jaycee Park) featuring tennis and volleyball courts, basketball courts, and baseball fields. Be warned that most GPS take you to an entrance that they usually keep shut for some reason, and you need to enter through (and park in) Jaycee Park. Between these three areas, you'd be hard pressed to find yourself wanting for any amenity a park could provide. For that, the cleanliness, and its value to the area... it can't be anything less than 5 stars.

One of my favorite local parks. As the weather gets warmer, it's nice to enjoy a day at the park, spend time w family and enjoy nature.

Country Park has been a saving grace during the pandemic. I great place to meet up with a friend and walk/run some laps. Sometimes it's a little crowded which makes social distancing harder, but generally it works great. Lots of parking places. The park is very well maintained with a nice lake, public bathrooms, dog park, bicycle course, playground, and picnic shelters for rent. You also are right by the Greensboro Science Center. Sometimes they have a little stand selling snow cones too. My friends and I actually rented Shelter #6 for an outdoor Thanksgiving celebration. It was a perfect COVID safe option. It can fit up to 25 people and one small grill, though we didn't use it. There was only like a dozen of us and as the benches in the shelter were set up to match the round shape of it, which made keeping our distance by household but still seeing each other very possible. I believe it was only like $50 to rent the shelter for the whole day, very reasonable price for a nice outdoor yet covered space.

This is one of my favorite parks to visit in Greensboro! I visit often to play Pokémon Go with friends. For those not trying to become the very best like no one ever was, there are so many amenities for all ages to enjoy. These include but are not limited to a playground, shaved ice stand, and paddleboats. The bathrooms are easily accessible near the Jaycee entrance to the park, and there is plenty of parking. They have multiple shelters onsite that can be rented for all sorts of occasions. It is adjacent to both Military Park and the Greensboro Science Center, so you could really make a full afternoon out of the trip with so many things to explore. They are currently in the process of adding a zip line too! One loop on the pavement around the lake is equal to 1.5 miles, which visitors use for walking, running, biking and even roller blading! If you're looking for a nice place to enjoy the outdoors, I would recommend Country Park!

This is truly a full service park! That said, my review will focus mainly on the golf portions, with the park overall being a solid 5, and a must use for anyone in the Greensboro area. The driving range is just what you want and nothing more. A big open field to hit balls into, no frills, and also at a cheaper price than average. This is all I need, and all just about anyone would need at an amateur level. Distances are marked, and since it is pretty flat, you'll get a good idea for how far and straight you are hitting what. It's a popular place to practice, especially after typical work hours. The par 3 course... wellllll... it is less of a golf course, more of a hilly open area with some cutouts that would indicate a "green." There are 9 holes, the longest of which is about 130 yards, so no need to bring many clubs with you. The greens are about as rough as they get. There really isn't much of a putting surface. Too many weeds, and it's cut too long to get a realistic roll, I actually don't bother putting, because it isn't going to be good practice. There is also usually goose poop landmined around the course, the greens are no exception. The greens are also very small, none of which would be more than 25 feet in diameter, if that. The way I usually play, sticking the green from the tee is a birdie. Chipping up within about 5-8 feet is par. Anything outside of that, bogey. All this critique given, it was less than 10 bucks to play, really as much as you'd like. It does help you work on your short irons and wedges, and for that, I enjoy it and will return. Also, cheap beers in the clubhouse are just 2 bucks!

We loved all the colorful flowers and little creeks the park had to offer. It worked out well too that they have a lot of seating benches to sit on and rest my knee too. The park was built in the early 1900s and they have maintained it pretty well. There are some beautiful homes nearby to it and churches. My college days have long been gone and wealthy I've never been And tho Dunleath Historical is where I bought, it's Fisher Park I dreamed of living in. For years and years at 7:00 a.m. I've donned my coat and hat and had my walk through Fisher Park, cuz baby that's where it's at!! The park is lush and evergreen with trails so easy to explore. And if you want to sit and rest, there are benches and rocks galore The park feels untouched and natural even though it's groomed by a neighborhood team. It's the place I go to not only walk but to meditate and dream. It's mini bridges made of stone are so beautiful to behold. I run my fingers through the stream. The water is clean and crisp but cold!
