The service was attentive and quick. I had beef vermicelli and the hubs had shrimp pho. We shared spring rolls. With my vermicelli I also received an egg roll and a shrimp sugarcane roll (maybe not called a roll but anyhow...). The beef was super flavorful and tender. Really good flavor. I did need to use some of my husbands broth because the noodles have zero sauce on them at all. I guess I was expecting something on them so they weren't just a clump of noodles. That being said, with a little broth they were really nice. I definitely prefer the spring rolls to the egg roll. The spring rolls are crunchy and flavorful but the egg roll lacked a crunchiness and felt a little mushy inside. The shrimp sugarcane thing was ok. Probably an acquired taste. The vegetables in my vermicelli bowl were super fresh and crunchy. Overall I really liked the beef vermicelli bowl...with a bit of broth. It was light and satisfying. The shrimp pho was good. The shrimp were nice and big and nicely cooked. I had hot tea, as well. It was fresh and hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal. If you're in Rosenberg, give them a try. You won't regret it.

The 4 stars is for the service and general cleanliness with water that is properly filtered. The local tuning is fusion based geared towards the area. Hits the spot and does the job at a decent price. Of course the only pho place near here about 5 minute drive from the DPS licensing area

I love to discover little places like this that I really didn't discover (it's apparently been around forever and it's actually quite spacious). However with all that being said you really wouldn't expect Rosenberg TX to be the location of a great Pho restaurant however it is and Country Pho is it. The location in a strip center is unassuming however the efficiency of the service the flavor and ingredients of the Pho and the versatility of the menu beyond Pho make it well worth the stop if you find yourself in the neighborhood...oh and I might add...the reasonable prices given the quality of the food makes it even more of an excellent proposition. I had Pho Dac Biet and found the broth rich with flavor and the ingredients plentiful and in ample variety sufficient to satisfy any palate. In addition, the Jalapeño's were fresh, crisp and spicy along with the bean sprouts and greens. If you enjoy Pho do not hesitate to stop here. It is well worth the experience.

Friendly service, GREAT prices! I took off a star because it wasn't the normal bone broth, it taste, smelled and looked like store bought chicken broth. After I hooked it up it was cool. I want to come back to try the Hot Pot though.

I thought I would try this place after reading the Yelp reviews. Plenty of parking and greeted with friendly service. I wanted shrimp & pork Pho which was not on the menu. My server immediately offered to add the grilled pork to the shrimp Pho. I also ordered two spring rolls. The plate of bean sprouts, fresh basil, lime and pepper allowed me to season things to my taste. It was all excellent. A true feast which I highly recommend! read more

We went here late on a Thursday night. We were one of the only tables there. The service was nice. I had Pho for the first time. I wasn't a huge fan of the kind of food, but I could tell it was well prepared and and the others with me liked it. I want to go back and try the sandwiches. I also wish they had fountain drinks with free refills. It's located right in old downtown Rosenberg. read more

Let's start with this, I drive 25 minutes just to get Pho, a Really Good PHO. We visit Country Pho once a week in the last 2 years, we never had experienced a bad Lunch, is amazing how they keep the same quality. The flavors are really good, any item from the menu is good. My family and I enjoy our meals anytime we go here. They always cater to our vegan needs, making it super simple for all of us. This time specifically, we ordered the Hot Pot with veggie broth and can I just say- I recommend this to vegans and not vegans!! We loved it! We ordered to go from here, and on first impression alone we were already greatly pleased, everything was very organized and very fresh! The coconut shrimp appetizer was divine with the sweet chili dipping sauce, and the beef sandwich was sooo scrumptious I wish I'd ordered another one! I eat at country pho at least 3 times a week. I've ordered just about every dish on the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. So delicious you can't go wrong. I grew up in Anaheim California but found the best pho I've ever had in richmond Texas. Everything is always fresh and made from scratch. Ask for any recommendations or modifications and mr lee, his son Danny or Linda or even little Tiffany are happy to make it happen. It's a family business and they take great pride in it. Try a grilled beef Vietnamese sandwhich for under five bucks and a small b11 beef soup... You won't be disappointed. It's nice to walk away from a meal knowing it's also really good for you. YaY! I love this place it is the only pho place for miles around and the staff is really nice and attentive and the Pho is really good. The broth is excellent. My only complaint is that they do not put enough meat in the pho, and that their Vietnamese eggrolls leave alot to be desired. But in any case this place is great, and I suspect and hope it is there to stay read more

Stopped in to grab a boba & requested to have it blended like a slushie before pouring it up w/ the tapioca pearls. Not an unusual request as some places make blended boba drinks in addition to serving them over ice. I was extremely disappointed when the people at Country Pho told me that what I was asking for was not possible. Unless this is a restaurant that does not own a blender, I don't see why my request was difficult to fulfill. I do think there may have been a communication /language issue between us, but either way I was not pleased with my visit here, have not been back, and don't plan on going back. read more

Wow, was I surprised! We patronized this hidden little eatery on a Saturday. The service, food and prices are more than 5 stars. I loved the spring rolls with peanut sauce and the Vietnamese BBQ Sandwich. I do hear that it is a little slow Mon-Fri lunch time, so if you are in a hurry, call it in and get it to go! Don't miss out because of your limited lunchbreak. If you want something different, fresh, with NO preservatives and grease, then this is the place in Rosenberg. YUM!! I went with my 2 girls and this place was great! They were very accommodating for a family with little ones(caution they have glass plates...watch you little ones). We ordered pho with chicken (tons of chicken and a kid size is only $2.95) vermicelli with pork (delish but needs more sauce-I should have asked) and a Vietnamese sandwich (fantastic). The fresh lemonade was a hit with my kids and I almost stole it from them -it was that good. Next time I am definitely getting pho!! read more

Went here for the first time (first time trying pho also). I was very impressed!!! It seems like a family owned restaurant and the customer service was great. We heard about this hidden gem from friends, and now it's one of our favorite places! The owners are always there working, and you know it's good when grandma is in the kitchen! Definitely the best place for Vietnamese food. The noodles were great. The sandwiches are GOOOOOD. Can't get enough of those Vietnamese sandwhiches. Do yourself a favor and try the summer rolls. We love Country Pho. It is always clean, the wait staff is attentive, and the food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. The fresh bread is always a treat, as are the summer rolls. Hello, my name is Jimmy Le. I am the son of the owner of country Pho and also a waiter there.This message is in response to Xio G I am here to comment on your wrongfully said remark on our restaurant about your review of our poor service to a homeless man , and discrimination and degradation of human rights. After reading your comment my family as well as myself became furious. Not that it was a bad review but how wrongfully said it was. For if it was true we would take the review as it is, but it is not and hence the reason for me writing to you. I agree that you do have a point, that the visual act you saw may be horrendous and I for sure would feel the same way if I saw that myself. But I am here to inform you that your perception is morally wrong and gives us a bad name. I would like to give you our insight on the situation from our side. First off, that homeless man you saw is a regular homeless man that comes by many times a week and each time he does we do not bat an eye on giving him food. We do not kick him out or call the Cops, which by the way many restaurants do around in Rosenberg when encountered by a homeless man. I know this for a fact for I see it myself and am told by the individuals who come in asking for food. But again I like state that we always give food to the needy and never trample humans rights. Secondly, we have already attempted to let the needy and homeless in to dine and when inside they are treated as well as any other Customer. But on our attempt we had many complaints on the presence of the homeless men. Their stench and visual appearance does not quite set the mood when a peaceful family with children are trying to enjoy their evening. (Remember we are a business but we take out our own time and money to aid the misfortunate). So having them eat outside is almost a must when we have customers inside. But don't think the homeless man doesn't agree. For he himself insists that he eat outside and gladly does us a favor in return for free food. Not many people give them food but we do! and food is food. On top of that the quality is the best it can be and we do not just give them scrapes. We serve them the finest quality like everyone else. Thirdly, some homeless men come in drunk and I'm pretty sure you would not like a drunk man stubble into a restaurant you are dinning in (which was the case in your dine in experience). For that reason alone for not only the safety of our customers but as well as the employees and ourselves we have them eat outside. When we are empty we gladly let them in to dine but obviously the experience of our actual paying customers are more important. Lastly we can not make this a habit, we cannot simply just freely serve the needy and poor with all the amenities of a paying customer and not be paid. Its just simply too hard to do with us paying for the ingredients, utility bills, and employees that work their best to make your experience the best it can be, and especially if they come everyday expecting a free meal with 1st class service. Please keep in mind that at least we provides food and the utensils to eat it instead of saying no and letting him starve. Please don't take this the wrong way, I do not mean to talk to you harshly or call you a liar but your comment may be very hurtful to our business all for a misconception and wrong perception. Please review your comment and take to mind the meaning of the words you said and there effect and also our own reasoning behind the action we take. We always strive to make our customers experience as near to perfect as possible and never turn away to the needy. Good country pho at reasonable prices. The food is authentic American Vietnamese. It's a bit out of place in downtown Rosenberg but that adds to its appeal. So go get some pho and a side of bubble tea. You won't be disappointed. It's s winner. read more
