I've been coming here since it opened. Since its been so long, I've tried a number of things on the menu and have never been let down. The food is always good and it's so cheap! Best combination! They offer veggie plates for vegetarians. They also have instructions on how to eat your pho on the table. Which to me so thoughtful. I love their boba teas and the Vietnamese coffee. It beats Starbucks, seriously! I'd take coffee from here over Starbucks any day! My favorite are the spring rolls..oh. My. God. Let me just say this.. This is by far no means the worst pho I've had but it's pretty close to it. Almost every pho place that I visit, I usually order 3 things.. 1. Pho 2. Eggrolls 3. Spring rolls. All 3 was a big disappointment. 1. Pho was extremely bland. It tasted pretty much like watered down chicken broth to be exact. Cannot taste the beefiness of the pho nor did it had any of the spices like star anis, cloves and what not. I had ask for my beef eye round on the side so I can dip it in the broth, but the broth wasn't hot enough to cook my beef. It was kinda chewy still. 2. Eggrolls. Definitely frozen. Didn't look very crispy or golden in color. Kind of even looked like it was freezer burned. The filling was for sure still cold inside. Didn't cook all the way through. Plus the amount of fish sauce they gave was ridiculous. Literally was just drops! Didn't even fill up half way, and it was a small cup too! 3. Spring rolls were okay. Way too big! Loaded with way too much vermicelli and the shrimp weren't cleaned very well. One of the shrimp on my spring roll, you can still see the vein. The peanut sauce was really thick. Not enough peanut butter to hoisin. That's just my opinion. So food was a no go. The waitress didn't even take my drink order until my food actually came out.. yeah I didn't bother taking anything to go since it wasn't that great. read more

I went to this place expecting high quality authentic oriental soup, but what I got was below average (very oniony) pho. If you know what real pho tastes like then you will be able to taste to atrocious difference and I HIGHLY recommend you to not go here. I ordered the spring rolls and they were the size of a Vietnamese fried roll. Meh on taste. I asked if they had shaking beef and the waitress didn't understand and thought that I was dying chicken. No biggie, so I pointed to the rice with beef & onions/bell peppers. I asked for no bells. Product came out with greasy beef and rice only. Country Pho has the most delicious pho compared with the one in Town Center, Sugar Land, and especially the one in Ave H which is overrated in yelp. Today, I ordered Togo Beef pho and fresh spring rolls and their ingredients are so fresh and even the dipping sauces included with my foods are so yummy. I will come back to try other foods in this place. From outside the restaurant it does not look so inviting but once you enter it, you'd see how clean and relaxing it is to dine in there. My daughter is going through a Pho phase and has vowed to dine at every restaurant that serves it. Having said that she treated me to lunch here. To be honest I had never eaten Vietnamese food before and wasn't sure what to expect. From the parking lot the place looked like a tiny hole in the wall. But, once we went inside it was a lot larger than we expected. Everything looked meticulously clean. We were immediately greeted by a very sweet man who seated us. Next came an extremely friendly woman with an infectious smile to take our order. So far so good. We both ordered the chicken pho and a side of chicken fried rice, and 2 lemonades. Our order came out fairly quickly. Since I have no reference to compare the Pho to I don't know if it was the bomb or bomb awful. To me presentation wise it was a 9. Taste wise was probably a 6. The fried chicken rice was really good but, it was made with dark chicken meat which I don't eat. The lemonade was good but, not the best I've ever had. We were charged $29 plus a tip which seemed a bit pricey but, my daughter didn't question it. Overall very friendly and welcoming people. I live in Austin, but my husband recently moved to Rosenberg (long story), so we've been exploring the restaurants in the area when I visit him there. I have to admit I was skeptical of getting decent pho in Rosenberg having become spoiled by the great stuff available in Austin. Thanks to the Yelp reviews, we figured we'd give it a shot. Our cautious optimism was replaced by sheer amazement. We ordered a variety of things: pork fried rice, spring rolls, coconut shrimp and bun with shrimp & pork, plus we got some bubble tea to go. Two weeks later, we are still talking about how good everyone was, especially the coconut shrimp which is the best I ever had. This place is an absolute treasure. We were dismayed by the lack of customers during what should have been a dinner rush. Support this restaurant. It would be a shame to lose it. read more
