Great Food and very reasonable. Fish Fry Fridays was delicious. They even made fish with no breading for us . They went above and beyond .

But if you keep walking, it opens up into another section with booths. It honestly looks like an employees-only area at first, so we weren't sure if we were supposed to go back there There's also a side entrance that leads directly into that dining area, which makes a lot more sense once you figure out the layout. The place looks a little worn down, but honestly, it adds to the charm and gives it that classic local spot feel. I ordered the burger, onion rings, and cheddar jalapeño poppers, and everything was really good. Bonus points for serving Pepsi products! Always a win for me! The guy working was also incredibly friendly and was somehow managing both cooking and serving. He immediately noticed how confused we looked walking in and kindly pointed us toward the seating area in the back. Great food and genuinely welcoming service. Also, I want to note that their kids meals were only like $3.75....this is perfect because my kids never eat their food!!

I had the quarter pounder with cheese, an order of onion rings, and in order of mushrooms. Service was fast and polite. The burger was good, as always. Onion rings are great and the mushrooms. We're okay. Don't let the ambiance scare you away. The food has been good as long as I've been coming here.

Small slices of link sausage were mixed into the egg rather than wrapped in the center of the omelette as I'm used to, but flavor was still just fine. Eggs were a little on the dry side. Got the hash browns extra crispy, just as I asked for. Coffee was above average by diner standards. My wife got the gyro sandwich and was impressed. The meat came in a generous portion and was tender and juicy. Service was quick and considerate. Atmosphere was typical for a small town diner, including lots of veterans' tributes on the wall. Definitely worth exiting US 23 to check out.

It was seat yourself and we were waited on pretty quick after we sat down even though it was busy. I got one of the breakfast combos that came with 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, and 2 eggs and I added chocolate chips to the pancakes for an upcharge and also got a side of hash browns. I asked for the hash browns to be well done and they were cooked PERFECT. Super crispy. Some of the better hash browns I've had in a while. The chocolate chip pancakes also were super good. My eggs were undercooked, I ordered over medium and they were over easy. No big deal at all. They had a lot of menu options, both breakfast and lunch items, and everything was very fairly priced.

When I asked the staff for their preferences, the overwhelming majority chose The Public House--many of us dine here regularly and genuinely enjoy both the food and the welcoming atmosphere. As the department cardholder, I coordinated directly with the owner to place 34 individual lunch orders. He made the process incredibly easy by allowing me to send one organized list with each employee's name and their chosen meal. I'll admit, I felt a wave of anxiety taking on such a large, detailed order; I worried something might get mixed up and that I'd end up facing complaints. I'm happy to share that my worries were completely unfounded. The owner and his team went above and beyond to ensure every single order was prepared accurately and on time. Not only was everything perfect, but the staff absolutely loved their meals...there wasn't a single complaint. What impressed me even more was that the owner personally delivered all 34 orders himself. That level of dedication and customer service is truly rare, and it meant so much to all of us. The Public House exceeded our expectations in every possible way, and I can't thank them enough for helping make a long meeting day run so smoothly. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Public House who assisted in ensuring every order was perfect...you are all genuinely appreciated!

The tour guide even called ahead and told them that we would be there early. Our dinner choices had been called in advance. When we arrived there was only one waitress to try to serve 54 people. Apparently the two other waitresses did not show up for work. After two and a half hours most of our people had not received their food yet. We were on a time schedule for the bus driver. About half of our group were senior citizens. Some of them were diabetics. If the tavern was having problems they should have notified the tour operator and tried to make adjustments for the meals. If you only have a few people for dinner I'm sure it would have been a completely different situation. My wife and I ordered chicken Alfredo , it looked like watered down Mac and cheese with a few pieces of chicken mixed together.
