First time trying this local spot. Ordered a red sauce pizza w tomatoes and onion toppings. The pizza was ready on time,great service, and seemed fresh. I was happy to get sliced tomatoes instead of chunks, but the onions were still crunchy, just chopped too thick. Fantastic light and crispy crust- definate high point of the pizza. Country Style Pizza is my new favorite place to get vegan food in Pittsburgh. I'd heard a lot about it but hadn't madd it since it's outside of the city in Bridgeville. The drive is totally worth it though! I tried the vegan spinach artichoke pizza and vegan Buffalo chicken sandwich. The pizza was great and flavorful but it's the sandwich on flatbread that really stood out to me. It was everything I've missed in Buffalo "chicken" sandwiches since I stopped eating meat. SO GOOD. And I love that you can add lots of fresh veggies too (I had lettuce and tomato on mine). Can't wait to try here again! read more

We are very happy to be customers of Country Style Pizza. The pizza, round-up sandwiches, salads and bread itself are wonderful. My particular difficulty is choosing among my favorite menu items: Italian Round-Up and Style Zone Round-Up sandwiches, White Pizza, or frankly anything else I have tried. 15 years ago, there was a little pizza place near my college job that made salad pizza over lent. It's something I've always craved and never found again after they closed. Today I posted in a Facebook Group asking for recommendations and Country Style Pizza was recommended over and over again. We immediately ordered a variety of pizzas and gosh did they hit the spot! There are SO many options to satisfy anyone's preferences. We opted for dill pickle, Buffalo chicken, deep dish and salad pizza. It was all delicious. I LOVED the crust and that it wasn't greasy. We loved each and every pizza. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing the salad pizza was missing from my old memory was a sprinkle of cheese baked onto the crust before being topped with the salad which I'll totally ask for next time! read more

So in the almost 2 years we've lived in the area Country Style has been a go to. Not only do they offer pizza & salads, they also have sandwiches (which I still need to try) & dessert pizza. They also offer vegan versions of their fare. I usually place an order online for their deli buns (yes you can order their buns and pizza crusts for pick up or delivery) as they've become a norm for when I make burgers or BBQ. Staff is friendly and proud of their work which is great to see. This is one spot that's always a win. read more

My husband and I have really loved Country Style pizza lately. I'm so mad it's been here this whole time and we had no idea! We eat gluten free, and if you're looking for a gluten free pizza that doesn't taste gluten free, HERE YOU GO! We have ordered a few different styles with the gluten free crust - pierogi, tomato basil, and the chicken bacon ranch. All have been SO delicious! We just order with gluten free crust, not vegan, and you can do any specialty pizza or toppings. The crust is crispy, not soft or flimsy like a lot of gluten free pizza tends to be. It's always very hot and fresh! They take about 30 mins to make which isn't bad at all. You would never expect this quality pizza to come out, but it does everytime! When I ordered Country Style and heard the total for the two items that I ordered for just the two of us, I was a little surprised. Once I got the food, my surprise went directly to the portions. Holy cow, this was the absolute largest salad i have ever seen in my life! The quality was also very good, and the bread base was still crisp. It was absolutely delicious as well. We got the steak and potato pizza and I will say we have a little bit of regret on this. The crust was crisp and delightful, but it just had too much potato with not enough depth to it. I think it would be fantastic if they added a garlic butter sauce to it, just to give the potato a little more flavor. The onions and peppers added were also too sweet. I'm really excited to keep trying things from here, but the pizza was a kind-of miss. I enjoyed the crisp but not dark crust though. read more

Super impressed with Country Style Pizza! I love that all the specialty pizzas are only $10! I also love that the price is for a small 4 cut, so my husband ordered a few different ones to try. My husband LOVES deep dish; however, I will say their Bridgeville deep dish is not a legit deep dish, but it was still great! It was smothered in ricotta cheese, which is always a good idea. The slices feel extremely light for a traditional slice and the "crust options" are merely factory produced frozen/freeze dried shells that are filled to order. After nearly 14 years the search is over! We finally have our go-to pizza place! The worst part of the whole experience was the realization that I've driven past this place hundreds of times and didn't think to order a pizza. Thankfully, the pizza is so incredible I'll learn to live with myself and move on. We ordered a supreme for our first effort and it was indeed supreme. The ratio of toppings, cheese, and sauce is perfect and allows the crust to hold up so you can eat it without a disastrous mess. I would love to know how they get that vegan cheese so melty; I've never accomplished that myself. I did jazz up my slices with some bbq sauce, but it was divine without it. We've been wanting to try this pizza for sometime, after our experience today, we were disappointed with the product. We got the 8 cut thin style and a small antipasta. The crust is different than any pizza I have eaten - light and airy with a big crunch. When you pick up a piece, it's surprisingly light weight. The crust had a good taste. The sauce was a little heavier than my preference but tasted good. The big disappointment - scant toppings. I ate two pieces before I got a piece of sausage. There were more mushrooms on the pie, probably a typical amount. Maybe they were running low on sausage and decided we didn't need much. We tried Country Style for delivery. I had never heard of them before, and stumbled across them through Groupon. So glad I did! We had a chicken/tomato/cheese/bacon pizza. I forget the name, but it is one of the specialty pizzas. All of the ingredients tasted great! I honestly think that this crust was the best I've ever had on delivery/take out pizza. The crust is the reason that this will be my new go-to. We also ordered an antipasto salad. As you can see from some of the other reviewers' pictures, it comes on a crust. I was a little weary, thinking that the lettuce would be warm, but it wasn't! I still separated the salad from the bread being a creature of habit, but it was like getting a bonus order of breadsticks! It's strictly a shop for pick up only or delivery, not a restaurant. The pizza sauce has such a unique and robust flavor unlike any I've had before. I was a little nervous because we had never had pizza from here before despite driving by and seeing signs all the time. I'm so glad we finally tried it! Every pizza we got ( hand tossed red, hand tossed white, supreme, veggie, Sicilian) was really, really good. My favorite is the hand tossed - love the thin crust! Service was great too. Maybe the best pizza my wife and I have ever had. We were visiting the Pittsburgh/Bridgeville area and we looking for a pizza at around 8pm on a Saturday evening. We found this place online via Yelp - had great reviews - and ordered a Meatball/Spinach/3-cheese pizza for takeout. Went to pick it up, went inside, and it smelled fantastic. Got the pizza and now our car smelled fantastic. Brought it back to our hotel room and WOW. Very juicy, absolutely delicious - loved every bit of it - the crust, the tomato sauce, the cheese, the spinach. Neither one of us think we've ever had a better pizza. Well done!
