After a long day at work and then becoming instantly lazy I decided to order in which I very seldom do. I chose to try Serafinas pizza after living here for 10 years. Crazy I know right? I ordered a half Italian and small square Sicilian. The hoagie was tasty and I enjoyed the banana peppers. The pizza I felt was too soft and a bit bland so I'm hoping maybe it was an oopsie this time. Especially since it came 20 minutes quicker than it was supposed to. Starting with the good: the order delivery was so easy to complete online, and they send you texts on updates for your order. It was ready within the 20 minute quoted time and was hot when I picked it up! Unfortunately, I felt like the food just wasn't good if I'm being honest. The pepperoni on the pizza was all piled in one place on each slice kind of lazily, the sauce is honestly kind of flavorless and not my favorite. We also got wings with buffalo sauce, which again was flavorless and beyond mild heat, I wish it would have had more of a taste and kick! Additionally, we had chicken fingers, which were super average and not very crispy. To be fair, there was an option to cook them "extra", and I might suggest that to anyone who wants to try. This is a small gripe, but they also didn't have house made ranch. I think for comparison purposes though this is relevant, as house made ranch is almost expected in the Pittsburgh dining scene. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just an average one and not a place that I would recommend if someone asked me about where to get pizza in the South Hills. read more

After a few friends suggested I try Serafina's, this evening I picked up an Italian Stromboli which was amazing! I also ordered a pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a salad. Everything I ordered was very good, at a fair price, and made in a very timely fashion! The employees were all nice and the establishment was clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking as well. I would highly recommend to others and look forward to trying other items from their extensive menu! read more

Wings are great! I loved the garlic parm! The Buffalo was good flavor and mild heat. Food was ready in only 15 minutes from calling it in!

First, I would like to say, this place has wonderful pizza. However, last night, we ordered and the delivery gentleman was standing at our door telling my husband how slow business has been for the holiday and that he checks every pizza before it goes out. I open the box and the top of the pizza slid across the whole pie and into the corner of the box. It was soggy and I ate it with a fork...now "real" pizza lovers eat their pizza by hand! LOL. Anyway, we didn't complain, but I am giving them a poor review right now until we try again...because we will. I first tried Serafina's in December of 2012. It was the day after my sister's wedding. I lived in Dayton, Ohio at that time and was crashing at my sister's place for the weekend while she was away on her honeymoon. I was lying around and had a sudden hankering for pizza and wings. I don't eat in Bridgeville very often and wanted to try something new so I turned to Yelp. Once again my fellow Yelpers didn't steer me wrong. I order a Sicilian peperoni pizza and some wings. The wings were out of this world and the pizza was really good. I made sure that I left the menu for my sister and told her to give it a try. She is now a regular. If you are in Bridgeville and looking for a pie or wings, defiantly give this place a try. I really had trouble deciding between 4 and 5 stars for this place. In the end I reserve 5 stars for places that I'd insist people from out of town try. While this place would be on the list there are several others ahead of it... but I'd give it a 4 and a half star rating if I could. read more

Not sure if this is a fair review as all I have ever tried is the square cut pies. With that being said the "Deluxe" square cut version is almost a 5 star!!! Excellent taste and quality toppings. This pie is a treat for special occasions..... The other square cuts with standard toppings are very good and better than most Bridgeville options. Easily the best hoagies in the area. Sausage and Italian especially. They also have an Italian signature sandwich on ciabatta bread that is very good. It has roasted red peppers on it. Serafina's is a little hole in the wall pizza place across from the caboose next to tambellinis. Their pizza is also very good. Our staff orders the square pizza with thick crust. I usually steal a piece or two. Very good very cheesy. So if you are looking to shake up your usual pizza shop order try these guys. You will definitely go back. read more

When it arrived, it was not at all what I expected based on the menu description so called back and spoke with Kim about my displeasure. She went above and beyond to rectify the situation, explaining that the menu could be misleading but she would make anything I'd like as a replacement. No questions asked. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was happy with not only the pizza, but also how quickly she got it out to me. Very good flavor and the great customer service was an added bonus. We are visiting from Virginia and found this to be the only place opened on a Sunday night. We ordered pizza, Italian hoagie, hot wings, bread sticks and a salad. Everything was so delicious! We called to place an order for delivery because their website clearly states that they deliver to Scott Township. My wife gave our address and they took our credit card number and told us it would be 45 minutes. Then 10 minutes later some gentleman calls back and states "we do not deliver to that part of Scott". It turns out that they only deliver to PARTS of Scott Township. One would think that would be in their ad or on their website; like every other pizza place in the region. To have to go through that whole process when putting it in your literature or stating it in the beginning of the order process was very agitating. Haven't had their pizza since they moved from their old location in Morgan, PA, but I decided to try it out again today after all these years. I got a plain Sicilian pizza, and it tastes just as great as it used to years ago. The pizza was cooked perfectly, to where the cheese is stringy and gooey, but not too undercooked or well done, and the crust is chewy and soft all around, without a hard bottom like a lot of Sicilian pizzas end up having. Ordering was quick and simple, and the delivery was actually about 15 minutes faster than they originally said. Their pizza prices are a few dollars more compared to other local, non-chain pizza places, however, most of the other things on the menu are cheaper, and there isn't a delivery fee. read more

We live in Collier Township, and Serafina's and Tomatoes II are our go-to pizza delivery services. I prefer Serafina's pizza over Tomatoes II's, and my absolute favorite pizza here is the round tomato basil pie. Order it, even if you are traditionally a meat lover, and I'll bet you love it. Just to be clear, make sure you order the ROUND tomato basil pie, not square. Other pizzas here with different toppings taste good on the square cut, but I prefer this particular pizza on the thin round pie. I'm also a fan of their Italian wedding soup, and their service and drivers have always been really nice to us. read more

Amazing food! The pizza was so good. We found this place on Yelp, while on a business trip in Pittsburg. Definitely a great spot.

Let me start by saying that the food is amazing and it being a hidden in gem in Pittsburgh you would expect the service to be that of family!! But service is beyond bad. It was my first time there and we went later so we could get seated. We went to the hostess area (which is in the middle of the restaurant) and asked for a table of 4 (there were multiple open). Next thing we know we are being slammed into a table by am older waitress who works here screaming "excuse me ladies." We quickly squeezed as best as we could out of the way and she comes by again 1 minute later screaming "excuse me ladies" this time in our faces when it was clear we were doing our best to be out of her way. (She did not have food or drinks in her hand during any if the encounters). At this point, we are squeezing into any corner we can and she comes by a third time and screams again "excuse me ladies"(there are only 3 of us), a table goes wobbly as she shoves her way through, we all want to leave but have already planned this night at this restaurant. Food is amazing. But be prepared to have terrible service - luckily we did not have her as a server but we aware of the older woman with a blondish ponytail!!! read more
