( Government name: Ellie) As soon as we entered we noticed the overwhelming smell. Not just a pet store funk that's normal. The whole store smelled like pee. Yikes. Maybe it was a rough wash day. Our normal warm greeting was also missed. Everyone seemed to be in a bit of a mood, except the folks with the kitten. Who can be mad with a kitten. When we got home we looked for when the changeover happened. Saw there was a new ownership coupon offered but never mentioned. It was also a clinic day, those folks looked ready and eager to help the next pet. ( not sarcastic) Even if it was quiet when we were there. When we go again we will report back with any additional findings.

I had not gone for 4 months because my health was having an issue in the hospital not being able to drive per Dr orders. I made an appointment brought my Charlie in and I have been bathing him and brushing him all the time to make sure he had no knots in his fur. I dropped him off and when I went to pick him up they said because I hadnt been in a while the fee was 118. when I normally pay 61. I think that was out they did that and so convenient they didn't tell me when I dropped him off they waited for me to come and pick him up then told. I think that was so unfair my friend was so upset when I told her she says I should not have paid that price who doubles a fee without saying a head of time to your customer. my last time there I went to pick my dog up and the owner had to rush her dog to vet and she used my dogs collar I had to wait an hour fur her to get back so I could leave that was a really big inconvenience. I would watch about giving barks and bubbles your business I won't anymore. I will probably put a statement on fb as well this was really an underhand way of doing busness.

All the birds are in good sized cages, they're opening up aviaries so their bigger birds have room to fly! While we were there we visited their "bonding room" which was a nice little place upstairs with couches for potential owners so they can bond with their bird anytime they want while they pay it off! I can tell all of the birds are loved and cared for, and they frequently take the birds out to socialize with people to ensure they are calm and safe. All of the cages had ample food, water, and enrichment toys. So refreshing to see a pet store who cares

Sal is the biggest POS Anyone that gets a bird from here get them tested for bornavirus, both birds we have from them are positive from bad breeding! Sal the owner is a pos all he cares about is making money and doesn't care about the health of the animals as he let ours die while in their care because he wouldn't get actual vet attention because it would eat into his profits for the baby bird, I will always tell the truth from what I've seen and experienced with this Sal POs, no matter what and always speak ill of this place to everyone and anyone, thankfully I've pointed many people in the right direction staying away from here thankfully We have multiple vets and rescues that blame this store alone for the issues with shelters being at capacity from people not understanding what's involved with having a bird, so they give them up or let them go, this store doesn't educate and will sell animals to anyone long as they pay, $$$ money is all they care about and not placing animals in homes that will actually be able to care for them, We talked to several past employees who told us they left because Sal was horrible and would hide things from people if their bird died they would just swap bands and not tell the owners, their breeding location which is not at the store is horrible conditions, multiple people have field complaints to the aspca, but Sal always sets up a time which gives him the ability to hide what he doesn't want seen instead of having pop up visits, We witnessed 1st hand during Covid how they treated the animals and the workers always cowered in the upstairs office meanwhile "volunteers" that brought their children would run and cry and freak out which is completely un professional, Our vet has told us themselves that they see many birds from this guy and they always have medical issues due to the breeding and the initial raising them, we have rescues that despise this place,

They have a large garage door next to the main entrance and it's often open, letting in the fresh air and great for convenience. If my company orders ahead, they usually have my supplies all ready go to on the store floor. The reason I don't give them 5 stars is one of the main guys behind the counter has ZERO customer service skills! Not very friendly, begrudgingly "helpful", it's as if he's upset you're even there. I thought about giving 2 stars because of him, however the store itself is good. Get rid of this guy and it would be a fantastic place. Also the staff, (usually only 2, which includes the guy above) isn't very helpful. One of the younger guys is, but the customer service takes a huge hit with grumpy behind the counter.

Inconsistency is not our fault yet we were banned from all Camp Bow Wows now after you ruined our Mother's Day plans. Blaming customers for your facility inconsistencies, ruining people's plans, giving the impression everything is okay, causing us to drive an hour and a half and then rejecting us and then not having any accountability in the matter is a huge thumbs down.
