Great Place to Eat!! Treated my husband to Father's Day breakfast here . Ate here maybe half a dozen times or more . I like the variety of dishes offered , the specials and the value you get for your money here. The service is pretty fast unless it's super busy May have a longer wait . Either way the staff is very friendly Their portions on sone of their dishes are pretty large and can be shared by 2 people. Seating is comfortable they offer inside and outside seating. I prefer the outside as most times it's cooler with a nice breeze coming thru. Only downside is they only open for breakfast and lunch no dinner . Some breakfast dishes include various waffles, hotcakes and French toast dishes , loco moco and kalua moco . And your standard selection of breakfast meats and eggs with choice of starch . Been here a few times now. And it's great! Clean, friendly, good service, great food. The chef/owner always comes to say hi and check on us. Have had the bananas foster french toast and the kalua pig benedict. Homemade hollondaise sauce is perfect, the caramel on the french toast tasted homemade with almost a banana puree flavor to it... Huge portions, always leave happy. I highly recommend the garlic chicken on the lunch menu with a double scoop of their fried rice. You won't be disappointed. read more

I came here with my boyfriend around 8am so parking lot was empty. People didn't start rolling in until around 9am. We ordered the local moke-o and walk through the country (banana fosters French toast, Liliko'i buttermilk pancakes, and strawberry waffles). Both were delicious and super filling (carbs does that ya know). We both wanted the local feel and I think we got it. Liliko'i pancakes was definitely interesting since I won't have those back in CA. This place was cheaper compare to other breakfast places we went to. This place is basically across the street from beach if you're heading there afterwards. If you're on the west side, this is super close. If you're on the other part of the island such as Honolulu then it'll be around an hour. read more

We were on vacation in Hawaii and stopped for breakfast at a non-descript roadside place called the Countryside Café. We're glad we did as the food was delicious! My travel companion enjoyed the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was excellent. I had an order of buttermilk pancakes... light, fluffy and satisfying. The bananas foster French toast with caramel sauce looked very tempting as well. Something to look forward to on our next visit to the island! Choices vary from local dishes like Loco Moco to your standard American breakfast. The Crab Cake Benedict was outstanding with portions big enough for a box. I would have never thought fried rice would be a breakfast food, but was fantastic and not greasy with the Portuguese sausage. Upon arriving we were greeted by an annoyed waitress who told us to sit outside. They had what it seemed like locals sitting inside and tourists/visitors outside. I would've preferred to sit inside, but wasn't given the option. I wasn't asked what I'd like to drink or given a water until I asked for it. There was a homeless man spazzing in the parking lot and decided to sit at one of the outside tables at one point. The waitress told him to leave and eventually he did, but it was uncomfortable for a while. The food came out inconsistently. Tables that ordered after us got their food before and I got my food 5 minutes before my sisters. My food was inconsistent in temperature. It's a shame that the service has declined over time. Barely toasted toast was delivered. Placed an order for rice but received tater tots instead. Upon returning to this establishment to retrieve your original order, all of your family members' food is chilly, preventing you from sharing the meal together. They accept the order, require you to pay via telephone (as if you were not planning to pick it up), and then execute the incorrect order poorly. This has occurred on multiple occasions, and it's extremely frustrating, particularly when you're attempting to provide a delicious breakfast for your family but someone always has to wait. Today, I am that individual. Currently, as I compose this evaluation, every member of my family is savoring their meal. My spouse will drive back to retrieve the items I ordered once they have completed their meal. Our experience has been limited to their takeout orders thus far. It appears that Customers are no longer a priority once the payment is received, as their service is inconsistent with the cost of the meals. Rice and tater tots are vastly different, whether you read the description on an order confirmation receipt or hear it with your own senses. It is perplexing how individuals can consistently err in that regard. Nonetheless, I will concede that the cuisine is exceptionally tasty. Given that customers are expected to prepay for their high-priced meals prior to their arrival, I do not believe it is preposterous for them to anticipate that their food orders will be precise. Decided to have breakfast with my Mum around 8:30 am Friday morning, and I do not regret the 40+ minute drive at all. I was reading other reviews saying "be prepared for a long wait," but we were offered seats right away and the wait for our food was no more than 20 minutes. We ordered their walk through the country (trio sampler), crabcake benedict, and local moke-o. All three of these dishes were amazing AF! Of the trio, the banana fosters french toast was a clear winner - waffle and pancake were great, but the BFFT was leagues above the others. Also without a doubt this has to be THE best crab-cake benedict on the island! I really enjoy the crunchy exterior and scrumptious interior. From a textural standpoint it was very well put together. Then for the Local Moke-o, it was (atleast for me) what I would consider a breakfast fit for the finest of champs. I think I could eat the white sauce/gravy alone with just rice and be satisfied, but the corned beef patties were extraordinary. It had real pieces of corned beef, not just the mushy stuff from a can that I grew up on (which I still love btw). Anyways if you are looking for a place literally out of the city and with amazing food, look no further than Countryside Cafe! Ps. Wow, our servers were so nice today but whoever the cook was has been yelling and cursing from the kitchen for all patrons to hear. I waiting for 45 minutes for banana mac nut pancakes. When I finally got them, they weren't cooked all the way through. There was pasty batter so I asked the server to take them back and give me biscuits instead. The chef was mad and cursing saying I didn't know what I was talking about and this is how they are supposed to be. I have ordered pancakes from here numerous times. They were never like this. Took a quick drive west towards Kaena point to check out the beaches and decided to stop at countryside cafe for a quick bite. It's an unassuming spot with a pretty decent menu and nice patio seating. They've marked their menus with the most popular items but I still asked for some recommendations since everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I ended up ordering the Maili Point Special - fried saimin (noodles) served with hibachi chicken, kalbi beef, Mac salad and rice. The noodles were AMAZING! Thin ramen noodle that was saucy and flavourful. The portion was also double what I thought it would be for the price. Ended up taking more than half the food home and enjoying it the day after. The kalbi beef was okay, a bit tough but the chicken was great. The dish was $12 which I find super cheap for Hawaii. Definitely would recommend this spot if you ever find your way on the west end of Oahu. They have a pretty decent breakfast and lunch menu. read more

We were staying in Ko Olina and decided to try this place for breakfast one day. Based on the reviews we wanted to take a ride and it did not disappoint. Small outdoor area for seating and a small inside area but we went on a weekday and had no issue getting seated. Very creative menu and incorporating a lot of local fare. We ordered a lot with pork and it was delicious. The ride here though was a bit sad as there are a lot of homeless along the beaches on this coast but we really felt this was worth the trip and very reasonably priced.
