Our guests had previously declared Flour & Stone one of their favorite restaurants. We were greeted cordially and seated at a small table near a hallway. During the course of the evening, we did feel an occasional draft of cool air-perhaps from the opening of an exterior door. The ambiance of the restaurant's interior is intimate, due partly to the low ceilings in our dining space. Our server brought menus and returned before long to take our drink orders.
