Dr. Brenner came out to introduce herself to me before she brought the kids back (both at the same time, how fabulous!). She performed their dental check with me present, and explained the entire process, while completely engaging both my kids at their own developmental level! She missed school and I missed work! This practice has lost consideration for their patients and their time. Had no plans on reimbursing me until insurance company got involved. Anything to make an extra buck. Sad. My advice: Make sure you ask for an itemized receipt- they purposely don't provide that and they up charge for already covered services) and make sure you call your insurance company to see what they billed and what they were paid for by insurance and compare to what you paid out of pocket. I got in my car and cried so hard after because he's never been able to do anything even close to that. The time it took I know wasn't easy but it was so worth it. As an autism mom I face challenges daily with getting my son the proper care due to his hyper sensitivity. She did a cavity procedure on my daughter and caused her incredible pain and discomfort and possible mental issues. She actually said the word's I cant see at all because of my daughters structure of her mouth which is smaller than normal, and she continued to do the procedure which possibly injected her with more than necessary needed of lidocaine which caused my daughter incredible pain when injected her and her tongue became numb for many hours afterwards. She also said the words that it wasn't her day, but continued to do the cavity procedure. She also spilled the etch blue chemicals on my daughters bottom lip which caused the lip to be burned. I will Never return to this dental practice especially after the visit with Dr.Alpizar.P.S.The Dr had to put my daughters filling in again because it came out less than 2 months time, which after the current cavity procedure was done, she said the words the current filling will come out because of my daughters hygiene which is absolutely incorrect.
