Our flooring was raised kinda like they built the kitchen around the dishwasher and we didnt want to take any chances. We called day and evening, they came out and looked at our current dishwasher and advised us on what to get....no charge. We go get the dishwasher, the day of install comes and day and evening come back. Unfortunate for us I bought a closed bottom dishwasher which requires a plumber. Instead of charging us for the 30 or so minutes they were here, they hooked us up with their plumber who will be here in the next day to install and didnt charge us for the trip out here. This is how you do business. They could of charged us for both trips out and with gas being $4 right now I would of understood that, but instead they said no worries and shook our hand. We have used this company a few times and they know they are our go to when SHTF and things like this is the reason WHY i'd never call anyone else to fix any of our appliances. The repairman came and said he would have to come back because he can't repair the crack when the freezer is cold. So back he came over a week later. We were told to wait 24 hours be for we close the door and turn the fridge back on. Went to fill the fridge and the crack was back. Went to Mannys in Canton CT to pick out a new fridge as I had 5 year warranty. The repairman was there and said it was a 50% chance it would work - not good odds. Thursday I got a call that my fridge is in and it would be delivered Saturday. I never heard what time they were coming so I called the store and they said it wasn't scheduled and next delivery would be Tuesday ugh! Of course I emptied and un plugged the fridge which is a lot of work. So now every time I need something from the fridge I need to get it from the garage floor and downstairs for the freezer. I have referred a lot of people to Mannys but not anymore. Maybe I should just get my money back and go to Home Depot.

I called for a repair on a speed queen washer. Alan and coworker came out the next day and…read morerepaired it. while repairing the washer I was telling them about my kitchenaid refrigerator that I had called for repair the week before with a different company. (other company did not do repairs for speed queen). My kitchenaid refrigerator stop making ice. but every now & then would drop a few ice cubes. the 1st repair co. told me I needed a new ice maker & the cost would be $735. Alan stated if it was making ice then he didn't think I needed a new ice maker. I scheduled him to come out & diagnose the problem. His tech came out the following day. Long story short my problem was accumulated dust on the coils front & back. he cleaned them out & the next day my ice maker was working and still is. Alan and his workers are honest people and knowledgeable! He saved me $735 less service call fee which I was happy to pay! Also this was second time the ice maker stopped working. I replaced it the first time but now I'm wondering was it really broken or just dust on the coils. I would definitely recommend Allen's Appliance
