Due to my car having several issues and being aged separately at a repair shop I spoke to someone at the location, not the call center, to see what my options were. I called several service centers other than this location beforehand to ensure the full diagnostic included all of my issues. All service center of Nissan in the North Texas area confirmed that the one diagnostic fee would cover finding the issues I had identified. I then called for pricing on different days. First I was quoted 175. On a second week at this location I was quoted 185. Today, I arrived and I was quoted 190. Upon arrival, I wad told I would be charged separately for each issue for a total of 380. I pushed back and they diagnosed it for 190. A followup call then told me one of the issues they could no longer lookout unless I paid an additional 120. This has been four hours in and a complete waste of time with varying pricing, commitment promised to diagnos and I am beyond passed. I should have taken it elsewhere. I do not recommend at all. This is not an honest nor honorable business that I would trust to family, friends, or associates. Update: Called the main number to complain about the lack of consistency in pricing and what it includes. I was transferred to a supervisor who said he would reach out to the onstie team to resolve. He stated either he or the on-site Supervisor would call back. This has not occurred. It's been two hours. The service center called for a 2nd time saying they think it's completed? No confirmation they completed the last step in the diagnostic I requested. I should have gone somewhere else for a complete diagnosis, not partial or bits and pieces. Waste of time and money. It's been 6 hours since I dropped off the car. read more

Kerry Cardwell, GM Courtesy Nissan of Richardson; I realize in today's society, people in general usually only voice their opinion when they are not happy and want to complain. I am sure you probably get 10 complaints for every compliment. I would like to take this time to express my happiness and the pleasurable experience I had at Courtesy Nissan of Richardson. Upon my arrival I was promptly greeted by Hector. As a personnel manager myself managing as many as 25 direct reports and 1,000 indirect reports, I understand you feel that you have a "Super Bowl Team" sales staff; otherwise they probably wouldn't be part of your team. However, I truly believe that if I dealt with anybody besides Hector, I more than likely would not have purchased a vehicle that day. I had no intention of making a purchase that day; I was merely going to look as I had for the past several weeks at many other dealerships between Austin, Waco, and Dallas. And it had never crossed my mind to ever purchase a vehicle on this particular day, but Hector definitely sold that SUV. Many vehicles can sell themselves based on their options, packages, and features. Hector never gave it a chance to have to sell itself. He was very knowledgeable and knew everything I wanted to know about it. Before we even test drove it, I felt I knew everything there was to know about that Rogue. Further, Hector was not trying to push us into a vehicle, it was clear that his main objective was to give us what we wanted and not what he wanted us to have. Not only was he very knowledgeable, he was exceptionally personable; definitely not the typical car salesman I am use to dealing with. I hate to admit it, but in general, I despise car salesmen. From my experience they are usually egotistical, self-centered, know-it-alls that are only interested in making a sale and collecting their commission so they can move on to the next potential customer. I do understand that is their livelihood and how they put food on the table for their family (that's why car sales is not a career option for me, but somebody has to do it so I respect them for it). That was not Hector, by any means. Hector seemed to be a down-to-earth good ole Texas boy that was only interested in my needs and wants and wasn't trying to shovel a lot of BS in my direction. I now have the satisfaction of being able to say I have actually dealt with one car salesman in my life that I would consider pleasurable and would actually recommend to friends and family, even if they do have to drive 87 miles as I did; it turned out to be well worth the trip. I did notice that your dealership has posted its expected behavior for its associates. One downfall of posting expected behavior to associates is that it can give them a threshold to end at. I don't think having those expectations really mattered much with Hector. Not only did he meet each one of your expectations, he greatly exceeded all of them; and I truly believe he would have acted the same whether or not you had posted expected behaviors. As mentioned earlier I did some extensive research to find the vehicle I wanted with the options I wanted taking into account retail sales value, trade in value, cost, and after visiting a few dealerships sales persons and dealership environment. When we are ready for a new vehicle, or anybody asks for suggestions, I don't feel we/they have to hassle with all that; I believe we will just come see Hector and let him sell us a Nissan. Hector's exceptionally high quality in customer service and customer care portrayed to me reflects great credit upon himself, your dealership, and the Nissan name. Thank You! read more

When my old Camry started giving me problems I realized I needed to replace it. The car I really wanted was a Nissan Murano, but I was willing to consider a Rogue or even an Altima. I did some research at cars.com and found a Murano that was low mileage, Nissan Certified and right in my price range at Courtesy Nissan. I called and made an appointment with Ed Nogar in their internet sales department. Ed was waiting when I got there before opening the next day. I told him very clearly - my price range was $18K - $20K. I only want to look at Muranos, Rogues or Altimas. I set these boundaries knowing full well that car salesmen will automatically start showing me cars 10% above my range, or talking monthly payments rather than price tags, or steering me towards other used cars that offered them a better margin. Ed did none of those things. He never tried to show me anything outside my range, except for one car that was a little below my lower boundary. He never showed me any other type of car. He encouraged me to test drive all three, and then suggested I re-drive two of the cars that had become my finalists. He never hurried me, steered me or pressured me. What a refreshing experience that was! When I finally made my decision on the car I tried to talk down the price a little . . . the sales manager printed off all the Muranos in the area in my price range, and this one really was priced better than anything else advertised. I couldn't argue much with that, but they still knocked a couple hundred off the price. We went through the financing process with no problems, I got very little pressure to buy warranties or add-ons, and I was out the door with my new car. After the sale Ed continued to take great care of me, helping to get a second key fob made for the car. If all car purchases went this well we wouldn't have negative stereotypes of used car salesmen - Ed was fantastic and I'm very happy with my Courtesy Nissan experience. read more

Customer Service: (Very Bad) I called Costco Auto Program and they sent my information to this dealership who in turn sent me Out The Door pricing for my Xterra. So far so good. I call and tell them I'm coming in to see the vehicle priced out for me. Red Flag 1: The girl I had spoken with over 2 weeks conveniently left before I got there. Red Flag 2: They set me up with a guy I had never heard of and was NOT on the list of those to speak with concerning the Costco Program. Red Flag 3: When I decided to purchase the vehicle I sat down to purchase the vehicle and was given a price over $1k that was give as an OTD price for the Costco Program. I check my pricing on CarMax new car pricing and know what they can sell this to me for out the door in worst case scenario. I walked out then and there, and got a phone call on the way home apologizing and asking me to come back tomorrow to buy the car at the original agreed pricing. That's a nasty bait and switch program and abuse of Costco Auto Program. Friendliness: Everybody was kind except for the deception and the 3+ hours of traffic I had to wait through to and from my home to find out I was lied to. The attitude was initially abrasive when I had to sit there and give out my personal information again since they switched sales men out on me. I was already sniffing the red flags coming out and my attitude was showing. Price: Price was a scam and the vehicle posted on cars.com had additional features when I arrived other than shown in photo. I will avoid this dealership in the future for any auto purchases. I am not sure about other's experiences or why they cannot see a car without logging in or giving up their personal information. Guess it is just because they are not computer-literate... My experience was very pleasant and there were no pushy sales reps (the vulture's were out there stalking though). My wife and I had the extinct pleasure of meeting and working with Kristal Nieves. I would recommend her to anyone! She did not have all the answers, but she knew where to go to get them and was very fast! She brought in Jeremy (Sales Manager), who was so easy to talk with and he was straight to the point and I really appreciated that. I was so impressed with both of them, I actually bought the truck that night, something I have never done in my past with vehicles. I felt very comfortable and at ease to make any decision "I" wanted to make. I felt so comfortable with Kristal, that I am only dealing directly with her for some after purchase things that were discussed during my purchase. I will tell anyone out there, I am hard person to impress and both of these reps shined for Courtesy Nissan. I will hold no reservations to ever purchase from them again. I did enjoy the time with Raymond (finance) as well. He was easy to chat with and gave us some really good information on warranties and recommendations. The best thing about all three of these people is that they made you feel like family you had not seen for some time and we picked up right where we left off. I went here with my son who was looking at getting a new Frontier. We did significant online searching and review and not only knew exactly what we wanted, but had initial offers for the new Frontier and estimates on the trade-in from other dealers. Courtesy is close to where we live so we wanted to check there first. I've bought a lot of cars through the years with varying degrees of frustration with the process, particularly the high pressure sales tactics. I've never had as good a buying experience as I did here. They matched the best price we had found including adding a couple of options their vehicle did not have. As well as giving us 95% of their initial sight unseen estimate for the trade-in. Got the add-ons installed the very next day without issue. My son is going into the military after graduation in May so this vehicle won't see a lot of use in the next few years. They understood this and didn't pressure us to buy extended warranties either. Don't know what my next car will be but you can bet I'll look here first. read more

I purchased a Pre-owned 2008 Honda Civic from them just 3 days ago and i must say that Howard Griffin made my very first car buying experience at a dealer easy breezy! I already knew what car i wanted since i had looked at their Pre-owned inventory online the day before but i had never purchased a car from a dealership so i have to admit that i was expecting to get slammed by pushy sales reps when i walked in the door,instead i was greeted my Howard who then joked around with me and my boyfriend before taking us out on our test drive! He did not try to talk me into changing my mind about buying a Honda to buying a Nissan so i thank him for that! He offered to drive me to work since the car wasn't ready for me to drive away in it and i was running late for work. All in all i look forward to servicing my car with them as long as all their staff are as professional and kind as Mr.Howard Griffin! Will be recommending him to friends and family. I recently had an experience with Courtesy Nissan that left me extremely disappointed. After finding what I thought was the perfect car and putting down a deposit to hold it, I ended up finding a better deal elsewhere. When I asked for a refund on my deposit, the dealership made it incredibly inconvenient for me to get it back. Instead of issuing the refund over the phone or mail, they made me drive during rush hour in Dallas, an unnecessary and dangerous hour and a half journey from the west end of Fort Worth. They claim it's their policy, but it's a clear disregard for my time and gas. They knew I had found a better deal; they knew I didn't want their car anymore. And yet, they still made it incredibly inconvenient for me to get my deposit back. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They may not be keeping my money, but they're not treating customers with respect and fairness. Stay away from this dealership, there are much better options out there. read more

My experience with Courtesy Nissan would have to be one of the best experiences I've had with any car lot. From the time I arrived I was greeted outside by a few gentlemen who escorted me in and directed me to the gentleman I originally asked for, but he was busy, so he kindly passed me to a gentleman by the name of Soloman who was beyond helpful ! He actually worked with me and listened to all the needs I wanted and found the PERFECT car for me. I couldn't have been more satisfied with his help. I was very worried I would get turned away but NOPE ! He made sure I left with something in my budget and that I wanted. Now waiting for the finance side did take a little longer than I expected but it was all good. The gentleman who helped me was just as great as Soloman he made sure I left satisfied with what I was purchasing and went over all paper work again with me. Terrible service experience. Received email regarding recent service on my vehicle requesting feedback. Addressed my concerns to which no one answered. Posted a review on Facebook and immediately got a generic response from the General Manager. Emailed him and received yet another generic response with absolutely no intention of making it right or resolving the problem. After contacting the GM, this is his response. "Thank you for the feedback. I totally understand. We have dropped the ball for sure. I would like to have a chance to make it up moving forward." Yeah, I don't think so! I will not have my vehicle serviced there. I will not purchase another vehicle from them or Nissan for that matter. I will continue to voice my frustrations and concerns until Courtesy makes it right. Sure wish I had read all reviews prior to doing business with Courtesy. read more

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I recently took my car in for some repairs and the service I received was second to none. I have never been so pleased with any company! I could not have asked for a better team to assist me with my repairs. Jessie and his team went above and beyond and I truly felt like I was a part of the Courtesy Nissan family. They were friendly, courteous, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. I can wholeheartedly say that I will never take my Nissan to anyone other than Jessie and his team at Courtesy Nissan. All of the repairs were completed at a fraction of the cost when compared to other mechanics/dealerships and my car was back to new in no time. We needed a car for my daughter. We purchased first at CarMax but one week later they called and said they needed the car back because we couldn't prove my daughters residency (which we told them up front). My husband started looking around and saw a car at Courtesy Nissan. We sent an email and Mr. Alfred Baker responded right back. He worked with us and we drove off in a brand new Nissan. The dealership has a down to earth friendly atmosphere that provided a very pleasant buying experience.
