    If I could I would give this place 10 Stars! Johan was very understanding of what our needs and budget were. He was very professional and went out of his way to get us best bang for our buck!!! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new vehicle!

    I'm not one to post reviews because well I rarely encounter bad services. But felt like I had to this time because I felt like I got blindsided. I wrote this review first on Google. TLDR: they scammed me charging more than what was quoted and agreed upon A couple weeks ago I went for an oil change & tire rotation special that was offered on the Subaru app ($79.95). This is my first time at the new location in McKinney. I had came in in place of my husband. This is important to note because the offer was only offered on his Subaru app account (military discount), as opposed to mine where it was $89.95. And I did mention that when I checked in and had given the guy my phone to show the screenshot proof of the price. He acknowledged that and confirmed it on his computer screen. I confirmed again told him to do the oil change and tire rotation ONLY, nothing more nothing less, as that's what the offer was on. He acknowledged, told me should be about an hour or so and directed me to the waiting room. Everything was great. Nice workers, nice waiting area (lots of variety of drinks and snacks), and overall good atmosphere. So far the best Subaru dealership waiting room I've been in. The high review ratings makes sense. Until I received my bill. I was quoted $95.38. ??? Now, I was expecting $79.95 + tax (which I assume would be around 6%-8%). So I was expecting to pay around mid $80s. Even if the tax was somehow in the double digits, it still wouldn't hit $90s. I read through the itemized charges and there it was, a "miscellaneous charge" of $9.83. Total tax was $5.60 by the way. I asked the guy what's this charge for because we both had agreed in the beginning about the price and the services that's supposed to be done. And he just kinda rambled something about labor cost blah blah blah, honestly I didn't grasp what he was trying to say cause it just didn't make sense. I tried to argue the cost but honestly I'm not one to do that to begin with and I know I could always dispute it with my credit card if they wrongfully charged me. I just shook my head and paid what they charged me because I really wasn't about to be arguing over there as there were other people, and I'm just not one to make a scene. Also because I have another appointment to get to and really didn't have the leisure time. So that's it. Payment posted on my credit card and I've just disputed it. I sent the proof and screenshots for their review. My husband mentioned that he hoped this doesn't negatively impact our relationship with the dealership since it's the closest Subaru to our place. I just told him if they were professionals then it wouldn't have an impact whatsoever on future services. Even if it does, well I guess we'll just have to drive to another Subaru location even though it's farther away. I don't even think I would come back to this dealership again just because of this one experience. Which is sad. Even if they acknowledge their mistake, I mean I probably would have a flagged note on my account in their system that this negative situation happened. And I don't want any special treatments. LOL. I really just wanted them to be honest. If they did extra services, at least ask me and let me know beforehand, BEFORE I get charged extra than what I came there to do. Update: dealership tried calling my husband and emailing him after I've posted the Google review. They're always calling him when he's at work lol. Anyway the dispute charge was accepted and I got the difference back. A reminder to always use your credit card, NEVER debit in case people scam you.

Sure, still charged me $185 for diagnosis. Thought I was getting taken for a ride by my Carmax warranty because they were only willing to pay $66 towards the $160 charge for the part. Turns out that is exactly what the part retails for, checked AutoZone and genuine Chevy parts online. This place doubled down, they reserve the right to mark up the parts as they choose on some margin they weren't able to disclose to me, wouldn't tell me how much they paid for my part, just that they weren't gonna budge on what they charged me. Ladies, make sure you ask ALL the questions, don't let anyone think you don't know what you're talking about before you leave your car with a mechanic shop like this one.

    Absolutely stole $400+ from me…read more Visited them in September 2023 because my A/C was not working properly. They informed it was just time to recharge the refrigerant and it would be around $430. I said this seemed steep and they said it would be $120 if I did nothing and just picked the car back up for their diagnostic fee, they gave a big pitch about why it cost so much for this type of refrigerant and their work includes a warranty and yada yada. I said fine go ahead. At which point I looked up Autozone's cost for a can of the refrigerant with a gauge and it was $150. So I called them to tell them not to do the work, I would just do it myself. A full 8 minutes had passed and they said "sorry, he's already finished and parking it now." $430 for 8 minutes of work must be nice especially when they don't stand behind it at all. Fast forward to the end of February, it finally had a day warm enough for me to turn my a/c on again and now it's doing the same thing it was when I brought it in. Called them up and they said yes I'm still in the warranty. Take the car in. They determine there is indeed a leak in the valve and argued with me for having the car for a few months since the last time, I informed them that the months between September and February are known as winter and I hadn't been using the A/C. They agreed to honor their service warranty and fix the leak but asked me to pay for the lost refrigerant which is magically now only $108 lol. I was about to resign and agree when Kyle kept on about how the leak wasn't present in September, I told him I think it could have been because that's a big coincidence, at which point he then scoffs and said FINE WE WILL JUST FIX IT THEN. When I went to pick up the car he handed me the card for another mechanic as a way to say he didn't want my business anymore, which was never ever ever in danger anyway. Now HERE I AM JUST A FEW WEEKS LATER and guess what isn't working again? So congratulations on the $430 for a job you clearly did not do. I'll find somewhere else to fix it this time. If this was the type of service I provided in my work I would be ashamed of myself. I cannot recommend against them strongly enough, they should scrape the "Honest" sign off their building and just be Negative One Auto Care because that's what you get with them.

    I took my 20 year old car in for new brakes (upgrade) and it had a coolant leak I asked them to…read morediagnose. Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon.
