Was looking to ask some questions, but whoever was on the phone, sounded like an older man, rushed me off the phone. I tried explaining to him that I was trying to fix a headlamp, not replace it. If I wanted to replace it, I'd buy a new one. But a headlamp is several thousand dollars and it would be more cost efficient to fix it. Denying the fact you can't repair headlamps when there are businesses who specialize in this kind of work. I just thought this was one of them since the Google search clearly says in their description, REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT. I work for a luxury car dealership and was possibly trying to see if Rally would be willing to do business with us since we do have vehicles that come from auction with broken lights. The man over the phone kept cutting me off and wouldn't allow me to speak. I don't know everything and didn't claim to, but you could at least hear a potential customer/business explain their problem so maybe then you could provide a solution instead of being rude. This place charged me an enormous amount for the problems that they can't fix . Brought it back after couple days and Paul the front desk person told me we need to charge money since it's something else now . Never encounter a dishonest auto place ever . They refused to fix the problem and come to terms to resolve the issues since they are so incompetent to determine what's wrong with my vehicle in the first place and now they wants more money to fix it again . Nice guy at the front desk for sure. Dropped the truck off the night before, and was told it would be done the next day. Coordinate with the wife etc...have 3 kids. I called the day it was supposed to be complete 2:30pm...and was told it wouldn't be seen and have to keep it for another day. This wouldn't overly be an issue besides I had to call at the end of the day to figure this out, not ideal. I shared this with the shop owner/manager today on text after he wanted me to come back in...not a word, not a "sorry man, I should have let y'all know." What people forget is folks have a family...have work...have obligations...and can't just continue to keep a vehicle somewhere when plans were set - and a heads up is overly appreciated when plans change. I should not have had to call and figure it out. Not to mention they wanted to charge $2,500 + tax for parts and labor for 2 lower front control arms and an AC compressor. I got a mobile mechanic that I have used in the past to do the job for $450 total labor and I bought the parts (AC Delco(OEM)...look on Amazon) for $450 total. read more

My car needed the next round of servicing, as well as the typical oil change. I found Rallye on Yelp and was easily able to make an appointment over the phone. When I arrived, my car was taken in to the lifts immediately. I mentioned that I was having a few problems, and the team took an extra look at those items and made recommendations without pressuring me into anything. My gut feeling is that the team is trustworthy and honest. I stayed in the waiting area the couple of hours my car was being worked on. The couches were comfortable and coffee & water was available. There was free WiFi and was zippy enough for me to do some heavy working. I only wish there were more tables/chairs set up with working on a laptop in mind. I saw some high tables & chairs but no plugs in that area. The service took the quoted amount of time and was reasonable in cost. I have recommended that my husband goes here as well. I bought my new car in 2004. It had 4 miles on it. The RPM's in my new car accelerated slowly, not smooth. I brought my car in for an oil change and it went real smooth. I took my car for an inspection a couple of weeks ago and I was impressed by their work. My engineer's instinct tells me this is the shop that I should stick to. I just moved to Dallas and have taken my car to a few shops for a harsh ride problem. My experience at other shops was pretty bad. The mechanics barely test drive the car, inspected very carelessly and rushed to recommend all sorts of services. On the other hand, Scott did a lengthy test drive and a very careful inspection. This is where I go to get my car repaired. I have been in a total of three times for the usual maintenance type items including front brakes, rear brakes, and a battery. Work is predictable, competitively priced, with no pressure on suggested items. I fully recommend these folks. The only down side fit me is they are not open on weekends. I went in for an oil change and to have my turn signal that had been damaged in the April hail storm checked. The technicians were affable and efficient. I was out of there in no time and inquired about my turn signal at checkout. They had neglected to check and told me to bring it up front and they'd fix it. Five more minutes and I was on my way.
