Post is long over due but don't think Yelp was around when I first met Courtland lol. Long story short been referring customers and using Courtland for over 20 years now. Been in the auto body industry all my life dealing with high end cars. I have only met only a handful of people that truly understand what's involved in buffing and polishing paint and Courtland is one of them. He has helped me with providing excellent customer service to my clients whether It was exterior,interior issues or both. I have many great stories but one of the best ones was involving a BMW that was referred to me from insurance company. Due to poor workmanship from prior repairs trunk had filled up with water. Customer was away and car was parked for over a week. The trunk looked like a swamp and the oder was terrible. Customer wanted the car totaled insurance company of course was looking for a different solution (60K car) Got customer to agree for Courtland to detail vehicle and attempt to get the oder out utilizing Ozone. Had customer come inspect and check the car 2 days after treatment, he wanted to make sure the oder was completely out. To his dismay oder was gone he authorized us to proceeded with correcting the bad repairs. I sent the car back to Courtland for full exterior detail after our repairs. Customer picked up car 100% satisfied with repairs and insurance company. He couldn't believe how nice his car looked. Was a win win for everyone. Unfortunately I am no longer working in the LA Glendale Burbank area but still refer him to all my friends and clients in the greater LA area. read more

A long-overdue review. I've been taking my cars to Courtland for over a decade and couldn't recommend him more highly. He really knows his craft and always takes the time necessary for the job at hand. The saying "Quality work takes time" couldn't be more true when it comes to car detailing. But the payoff is well worth the wait. If you're alone, you can sit and enjoy watching your car beautified...or Courtland will be happy to give you a lift to the mall to kill the time. His prices are very fair, especially for the quality work that your car will receive. The elements are very hard on a car's finish...water spots, tree sap, bird droppings, tar...each requiring specific handling methods that a lot of inexperienced "detailers" just don't know. But Courtland does, and it shows in the final product. No downside, but it should be noted that Courtland's is not a mega car wash with dozens of workers cranking out mediocre car washes every 15 minutes. You'll need to call and make an appointment, and depending what you're having done, your car will be there several hours. Court is pretty good at time estimates though, and so you can plan accordingly. I think Courtland's is simply the best and that you'll be exceedingly happy when you drive away. And as I said, I couldn't recommend anyone to entrust their car to more highly. read more

Took my brand new Mazda3 to Court after Christmas and couldn't be happier with my experience. The car came back immaculate, inside and out, and was back when he promised it and at a price I couldn't beat. Now I live in SF, so why am I driving down to LA to have my car detailed? Because I trust Court that much. I have known Court since we were both 5 years old and I trust him because i know his work ethic and his attention to detail. I've stood in his shop many a day while other customers' cars are being detailed and watched as he coached his staff on the right way to detail a car, inside and out. It's always amazing to see the stuff that he knows about this business. You think "car detailing, how tough is that?", but Court has really learned his trade over the last 20some years of doing this. Moved into a great new apartment building, only to have the parking lot ceiling drip lime and plaster across my hood and roof at the first rain. After four consults with various detailers, i thought I had a very expensive problem. None of the four saw a way to avoid repainting multiple panels, cha-ching. Luck sent me to Courtland's. He knew exactly which surface treatments to do for this unusual problem, explained it clearly, answered my questions, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. My initial thoughts about this place were good, Courtland is a nice and polite person! He likes old cars, I do too! I told him to be gentle with my 1990 Chrysler - I needed an undercarriage steam clean..That worked out well and it is indeed clean! Here's the "but"....the person who performed the job removed about 4 inches of paint from my lower bumper and killed the rear transaxle gasked, resulting in a minor leak. I waited over a week for a reply, send him pics of the damage...no reaction from his side, this is why the result is this review...if you dont want to deal with your mistakes, well, I feel the need to let people know about it. read more

5 stars for Courtland's!! I thought I was going to have to completely rip the passenger seat out of my 2015 Renegade because my cat had peed on it on a ride home. I tried cleaning it myself, took it to a car wash to get shampooed but nothing worked. My car still smelt like pee. Then I was recommended to Courtland's by an upholsterer and he was able to remove the odor!! I left it overnight and was charged a very reasonable price. He cleaned it 3 times and didn't charge me for the extra time he put into it. He even told me to bring it back if I smelt urine again and he would clean it again for free. Courtland definitely cares about quality and he isn't all about making money. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! Courtland's team does a detail like no other, and I know when I bring my car here it will come back better than it left the dealership. Most recently, I brought my end-of-lease black Nissan Leaf to him to prep for return. The car had sat for a few weeks under a tree which had dropped lots of nasty sap into the paint, and I thought I was doomed. But Courtland did an amazing job cleaning it, and it looks like new. NOTE! Horrible. Negligent. They left paper towels under my hood after steam cleaning my engine. Caused me a horrible fright and danger as my car stalled out on the freeway and was smoking horribly. I was so scared. Got to my mechanic who was very near by. He opened the engine cover and there were the paper towels. My mechanic called Courtland to tell him. Courtland did not contact me or take any responsibility for his mistake. I would not trust to ever go there again. read more

I desperately needed my car cleaned up after a 3 year old threw up in my car. I wasn't in the area I normally am and looked on yelp to find someone. Found this place and I called them and Courtland told me to come right over so that he could take a look and provide a quote. I went in and they looked at my car and he provided a very reasonable quote. They cleaned up my car while Courtland kept me busy with a very interesting conversation. I was very happy with the service I received and he even told me to bring it back if I wasn't satisfied when I went home. Honestly, they had great customer service and they are not greedy. I used to go to courtland when I worked near by about 10 years ago and it was my little secret spot, leave my car there and pick up after work looking like a gem. It was a great place with honest service and Courtland was always a nice guy to talk to. I recently went by that area and was happy to see he was still there and making people happy. He offers a great wash or detail. I preferred the wash since it came out like a detail (every week) and i'm very picky when it came to a regular car wash at any other local car wash, they never did it right. I'll be back since I am now working near his spot again. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I took my car for a detail yesterday. I picked it up today and the outside of the car had not been washed. I was told it would be up to 150.00 to detail my ford escape. I washed and hand dryed my custom made 350.00 seat covers and asked courtland to put them on after the seats were dry. My covers have been ruined, as he forgot I had washed them and he used bleach and threw them in the dryer. This is not the worst part, the worst part is, the outside of the car was not washed and full of new bird poop. I asked him why the car had not been washed and he replied "you did not ask me to wash the outside"..... I have never in my life ever heard of a car washing place that will not wash the outside of your car unless you ask them too???? I was so upset, I decieded to get the heck out of there, I asked how much I owed, This guy charged me 175.00 for a car detail, that did not include the outside of my car wash. He uped his fee 25.00, did not wash the outside of my car, and ruined my seat covers. This desparate man should be ashamed of himself. read more

Excellent, excellent, excellent! We took our 2005 Honda Accord beige interior and let me tell you... it was in horrible shape. My husband wanted to throw away the original floor mats because they were so black. Court and his crew worked their magic and our vehicle is unrecognizable.
