And, yes, they do have their off days, what place doesn't? All I know is that I've come here enough times to know that they are great at what they do! There is Wi-Fi, which is great for remote work! I arrived at Sonora Car Wash right when they opened on a Wednesday because I was leaving for a road trip to Las Vegas the next day. I specifically told the attendant I wanted the cheapest wash with no upgrades since my car would just get dirty again. Instead, he tried to upsell me and gave me the regular Number 1 wash instead of the advertised Early Bird special. When I went inside to pay, the cashier explained that the Early Bird wash is actually a separate option that isn't listed on the menu at the entrance, so I had to go back outside and ask for it. The attendant initially resisted changing it and only did so after I insisted. I've used this location many times for oil changes and upgraded car washes, so this was disappointing. The issue wasn't the few dollars. It was that I clearly asked for the cheapest wash and wasn't given it. I do want to recognize the cashier, who was friendly, honest, and helpful. You might be like me. New to the area, looking for a reliable car wash place in town. You decide to try this location because it looks nice, and it's on a friendly street in Glendale. Your car wash turns out nice a couple times, until your vehicle is badly damaged by one of their cleaning associates. Not just lightly damaged, but so grossly negligent and damaged you are shocked they turn the vehicle over to you in that condition (see photo attached - inside of window is scratched NOT outside). You think they have been so pleasant to deal with in the past that they will easily resolve the issue. You didn't read the other reviews about alleged damage to other vehicles, or the owner Richard's responses. Richard is the man with the answers. His justification for anyone who alleges his business is any less than perfect is that he has hundreds of customers and bad reviews don't matter to him. Richard believes nothing bad can happen at his business. Richard believes he is not responsible for damage caused at his business. Richard likes to talk in circles and blame everything on the car owner and being rude, confrontational, and made me downright fearful to come in and view the camera footage. I'm glad I see who Richard really is in this type of situation. If you are like me, consider the bad reviews and take your hard earned money somewhere else. Look at the times Richard has paid for car damage when his business is as fault. Even without payment, look at the times Richard Ajabi has been nice to someone who just followed up on his business practices. Support kind businesses. The whole team at this place always do an utmost great job specially this guy name German who always cleans my vehicles immaculately, spotless, and do extra clean at all times. I barely write reviews, I don't like to diminish or play with people's money, but I was very dissatisfied with the job that was done! I paid $70 for a royal wash and the additional interior cleaning. The man that takes down the order of the job you want was nice, and also gave me a suggestion to get an additional hand wax saying that my car looks like it's due for a wax to protect the paint. I thought that was a good idea and added that also. The jobs I got, I already expected to be there at least an hour or more. Surprisingly it was less than that and I see why. When I got into my car my door, my seats, the middle console and the dashboard where dirty as I left it when I came in. Mind you as I'm saying I paid more for interior, which was the most important thing for me at that time. They came in and did it again and it still wasn't to the satisfactory of the price that I paid. Then came back in, and my car floors and the crevices that I'm not able to get to are still full of sand and crumbs. And then I had to ask again if that could be redone. As I was trying not to be picky, but I'm still looking at the car and the price that I paid let the people know inside what was going on, and I'm not sure if it was the manager or the owner who I was speaking to he started wiping it down, but while I'm letting him know what's going on, he's not being apologetic. He's just wiping stuff down quiet showing as if he's upset and doesn't want to speak because he doesn't want to say anything out-of-pocket. The top of my car still had spots on it, and there was some sticky spots on it, and I didn't understand after I was told I was getting a hand wax to help my paint job. Yes I could've asked for them to just redo it because that is what should've been done but at the same time that should have been offered. Overall I'm not happy with the job that was done and the job that was not given in the description that I paid for. Quality of wash is mediocre, service is good, but the biggest waste/disappointment is they charge $5 more for SUVs. They advertise lower prices when you pull up, and most car washes have a $1 or $2 up charge for larger SUVs, but $5 extra fee for my regular midsize SUV is excessive. For me it was more about the principal rather than the extra fee and hope they adjust their policy or advertise with clarity. read more

The lobby is very big and the outside seating arrangement is very accommodating. The man who is vacuuming my car put on a mask and thought that was a good idea. He opened up the back of the car too and did some vacuuming there. 1 day later I can still see streaks and water spots. Never again. I took my daughter's car (I bought for her as a graduation present) in for an oil change and car wash. They did the oil change, and wash. After the wash, our car was left to dry under the sun, ok. I still gave the worker a tip. I went inside my car and turned it on... I turned on the car and the ENGINE LIGHT was on! When I took our car in, it did not have the engine light on. I would never let my daughter drive a car with a car problem, let alone an engine light!! I drove it forward to the oil change section and told the guy who did the oil change that my engine light was on. The guy said it was already on, I'm like hell no! The guy told me to take it to car mechanic and get it fixed. I told him, get this engine light cleared or reset it at least. The guy was hesitant but decided to get his car code reader or the OBD2 Sensor. He went in my car and plugged it in. I asked him what code does it say? The guy quickly turned off the reader, and said I have to pay $35 to get the codes and for them to reset it. I'm like NO, you need to reset and clear that engine light on. (I know even though resetting it, engine light would come back on if they actually did something shady). The guy reset and cleared the engine light and I did not pay extra! While all this was happening, the other guy, his coworker kept looking at us suspiciously, so I knew they were trying to SCAM me! Never coming back here again! read more

I wanted to share my experience i had today at this carwash today. I brought my car here for a regular wash and told them i had 4 other cars to bring. The guy said its a light wash and vacuum which i knew and he kept mentioning vacuum only even though a regular wash isnt just vacuum. I asked if the inside at least going to be wiped down and he just kept saying its vacuum only just to persuade me to get a detail instead when all i wanted was a regular wash. So this is my first time here. I was looking for a good car wash that could take me soon or I wouldn't have to wait two hours, believe it or not it was very difficult today. They washed the truck and cleaned the inside. If you are looking for something basic and not special this is the place however they did not vacuum inside at all, so if your problem is the interior make sure you specify that when you use this car wash. With the above being said I drove back over to the vacuum section and pointed out how it wasn't vacuumed and they did fix The issues and cleaned it up really quick the best they could. That being said it wasn't really that dirty there was just like sand in the cupholders and stuff basic vacuuming so I assume somebody thought that I had already had it vacuumed I guess or just wanted an outside wash because it is a truck. Took my car in for a wash. Ended up paying $69.99 for a wash and hand waxing. To my surprise, a cover on my console went missing. The manager said that they would have to shut down their vacuums to look for it and get back to me by end of day. I later received a call from the manager staff that the cover could not be found. I told him that I had ordered it from my dealership and was arriving next week. Came in for a oil change and was offered a car wash and was given an option to upgrade the wash and I did and paid an extra $6 or $8 for that. When they were done w the car wash my car had a huge part of paint missing and another small area too. I told them my car did not come in like that and of course nobody said anything and only said it was like that. I'm a honest person and just can't believe it. They guy said maybe the pressure of the water did it. I was like then you guys need to fix it. He said buy the paint and I'll fix it for you. And I told him No you buy the paint he said no. I hate to leave this review because we've been coming here for car washes and oil changes for quite some time. Recently took our car here for a brake fluid change, which we were told would take 40 mins....5 HOURS later we were finally home. The staff is extremely friendly...and when it comes to washes and oil changes, they're great. But I don't think they had the right equipment for the brake fluid, despite saying it was a service they offer. I believe the issue was that they were having trouble getting all of the air out of my brakes, but I'm not even 100% sure due to the lack of communication. My car was also pushed off to the side and paid no attention to for periods of time when others pulled in for service. I guess they were focusing on oil changes...maybe people had appointments...I don't know. But there's no excuse when we had been there long before many of the others pulled in. At one point, the serviceman even left the premises with my car without a word. I was about to go inside and speak with someone when his coworker finally came over and explained that he needed to use some piece of equipment at another location. It would have been nice to have been asked or at least given a head's up that they were taking my car off the property and to another location... After we were told it was finally finished and after we drove off, we realized that the brake pedal, which had previously been normal if even a bit sensitive, had to be put down to the floor just to bring the car to a stop. So back we went...after several test drives and an hour and a half later, the brakes were finally back to normal. Again...I have to reiterate: 5 HOURS we were there for something we were told would take 40 MINUTES. The entire staff knew we were there for a huge chunk of the day and didn't once come out to offer an apology or see what could be done to help. At the end, the gentleman who did our brake fluid told us to come back for a free wash the next day. No voucher....just a verbal he would get us one. Doesn't quite make up for the incredible amount of time that was taken and isn't very useful when we're in the middle of rain....we didn't return. And won't again. read more
