I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We were traveling to Boston for the day and needed a place close enough to the city and the airport. Luckily, this place had both of those qualities. It's tucked in a small, quiet area, but really close to the interstate. This hotel looks very nice from the inside and out. When you walk in to the lobby, it is very modernly designed, and even has a nice bar and computer station. There is actually a courtyard in the middle, where there is a large patio and indoor pool. The rooms are nice too - big, spacious bathrooms and big comfy beds! Everything was clean during our stay and I honestly have no complaints. read more

This property is a solid 4. If you are doing business in the area this is a great spot to stay but if you are a road warrior like myself you like having a room with some of the basics. Mini Fridge? Check. Coffee maker? Check. Microwave? Nope only for suites. So I can get something cold/ keep something cold but have no way to warm it up? That is a strange world we live in when 80% of the Hilton properties I stay at have no problem getting a microwave to my room but Marriot is the main rival and they can't get microwaves? Not to sound like I am harping on the issue they do have a community microwave in the lobby that you can use and feel weird about when you are popping popcorn and across the lobby in the lounge a couple are drinking and wondering what the hell you are doing. Also as a Marriott Platinum member I feel like it is with a shrug when I show up. At the Fairfield Inn's I get greeted with some enthusiasm, but here at this Courtyard I get the "go take something out of the fridge, I guess" attitude. Not asking for a red carpet but a little something for the loyalty that I show you would be nice. The hotel is clean and I have never found any issues with anything but did notice a mouse death hotel trap at the bottom of the stairs (which is sort of off-putting) The internet can be hit or miss at times which can be tough when working on things for work but 99 times out of 100 it is working. This is the my go to property when working South of Boston. There is quick access to plenty of dining around the area and Target is less than a mile down the street and the Ikea Store is under 5 miles away. But maybe they need some competition in the area to get some microwaves put in all of the rooms. (Just let it go CJ, and stop your 1st world complaining.) read more

I enjoyed my recent stay at this Courtyard. The location had some age to the exterior, but the interior has been remodeled with the new cafe concept. I experienced a friendly and speedy checkin. The following morning I had breakfast in the cafe. I always get the oatmeal and it did not disappoint with the walnuts and dried cranberries. The staff were very helpful on recommending a local restaurant. I will be back to this location in a couple weeks and looking forward to my stay. read more

Facility looks nice when you walk in but look close and you see worn furniture in the common area. Outside seating is dirty and not cleaned. Exercise room is inadequate, pool Is a big bathtub and Starbucks is the breakfast. Basically a good place to put your head and sleep. read more

The photos I posted are just small details. The room was clean, stocked and very comfortable. This was a very reasonably priced hotel for solid quality. The area had plenty of dining and shopping options and was in a quiet business park type atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I wish I captured her name (my apologies), you were great. Keep it up! My advice to Management would be to pay attention to the small details, those matter to families on a budget too. read more

I stayed here with over 50+ people from my wedding party. We booked over 20 rooms. The Marriott was absolutely amazing to work with. We actually decided to our rehearsal dinner here because they were that amazing. My Husband and I booked a suite and it was super clean and gorgeous inside! Everyone who stayed at the hotel was raving how wonderful a stay it was. The front desk was amazing, too. They actually gave out all my "welcome bags" to my guests and didn't forget one bag. If Marriott was a rock band, I would be their groupie. I have stayed at Marriott's all over the US, but this one doesn't do it's brand name justice. The set up of the hotel was very dysfunctional. The building does not wrap around into a full loop so you could potentially have a very far walk to your room; which of course I did even though I flashed my Gold card. There are two sets of elevators both in the same hallway, so again, it is not convenient to get to your room. When I got into my room there was a deodorant cap laying in the middle of the floor. Sort of hard to miss for the cleaning crew unless they were applying on the job? I don't think that is the case because when I had my room cleaned it was very poor service. Bed wasn't made tight, toilet paper wasn't replaced, no new soap, shampoo, etc. I only get my room cleaned once a week so these are all big deals. The "Bistro" in the lobby is not worth the price. I ordered a breakfast special of eggs, potatoes, bread, and Canadian bacon. It seemed like everything, including the eggs, were microwaved. Not only microwaved, but over-microwaved. Tasted dry and awful. It cost $12. The exercise room is squeezed into the first floor corner. They have a giant courtyard and swimming pool but for business travelers (which they get a lot of) the workout room was severely lacking. Two treadmills and one elliptical; way to keep America fat Marriott. The technos are actually pretty good: TV had a nice HD feed and Internet was free and reliable. The bed was comfortable but I give the pillows a 5 out of 10. This hotel hasn't turned me off to Marriotts but "Meh, I've experienced better." read more

Stayed here after a wedding recently. Checking in was a breeze. The room was tucked FAR in a back corner on the 3rd floor. It was next to the stairwell which initially concerned me, but given the crying infant in the room next door from 4am to 5 am and then again from 8 am to 9 am, I forgot the stairwell was even there. I know babies can't help it but jeeeeeeez. Anyway, the room was nice. King-size bed, nice linens, lots of pillows... small out-dated TV but no biggie. The bathroom was good size and clean and I liked the little sink-area being outside of the bathroom so I could do my hair and not be in the way. Check-out was even easier than check-in and there was complimentary coffee in the lobby (breakfast was available for a charge). You're alright Stoughton Marriott, you're alright. read more

Came to Boston for business and stayed at the Courtyard Marriot. This Courtyard is nicely done. You are greeted with a nice entry way and the 2 -3 times I encountered the staff they were very friendly. Everything here was clean and looked like it was well kept up. The room that I had was nice and clean. All of the furnishings were modern and the bed was large and comfortable with plenty of pillows. Had a nice little working are with a desk, couch, and coffee table that I made good use out of. Had an executive chair to sit in while working at the desk was also great. They don't have wireless, but you do get free internet access which is a bonus. This Courtyard do have 2 or 3 computers in the main lobby you can use and also a fax machine. They do serve an all you can eat breakfast buffet in the mornings for I believe $11. They have a mini store in the lobby and carry a couple of snack items, so if you have a craving, you will need to go to the lobby, other than that, they don't have vending machines. Didn't do the buffet or looked at other in-hotel dining, but the hotel is located within 5 minutes of several places you can go out to eat, so I skipped the hotel and just went out for my meals. Also they have a small, but nice indoor pool, a large hot tub which is nice to relax in, and a gym that looks like it's kept up well. They also have towels at both the pool and gym so you don't have to schlep a towel around. Plenty of parking at this location and you're only minutes off of 24 too. Overall, good solid experience that you would expect from a Courtyard Marriot and at $115/night including tax a good value too for all the amenities. I would definitely recommend this Courtyard for your business travels needs. read more

First full day so can't say a whole lot but started off 'meh'. Only one elevator working and Murphy's Law, my room all the way far back corner relative to it. That's ok...encourages using stairs. Bonus is that the 'fitness room' is right downstairs closer to my room. I arrived late evening (6:15ish) on a Monday. After getting into my room, loud vacuuming right outside my door and ramming into it too. Hoping it was out of ordinary as what hotel does house cleaning that late?! Room is comfy and just like all other Courtyards - ample size bedroom as well as work desk area with multiple ports. Bed is average - probably could use a little more support. Vanity small although this Courtyard had extra counter for coffee/tea amenities as well as small refrigerator compared to last one I stayed at. Bathroom was clean and good size. Shower had good pressure. Marriott is slowly going away with complimentary breakfasts and this Bistro prices are more than expected That being said, the dining area was large and comfortably spaced that included cozy booths, bar height tables, and casual sitting areas with fireplace. Definitely nice ambience. The Fitness Room was little to be desired and cramped. No mats. I should be greatful they actually had towels but water cooler bottle was empty. Two treadmills one elliptical and bench crammed next to each other. Adjacent pool room was oddly not key-accessed - I'd say poses safety issue?? The rest of the week shall prove whether it goes beyond my current three star review. read more

I greatly enjoyed my visit due to my new job and feel I definitely made the right choice in hotel! `Parking was convenient `Food and Starbucks was fresh and hot `Rooms were spacious and clean `Room service prompt and delicious The only minor thing was make sure you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign on. The housekeeping staff was overly efficient (not a bad thing) but 2 for 2days of my stay they were ready to start cleaning early in the morning and knocking on my door by 8 am to clean the room! read more

This property is truly a hidden gem. It is recently renovated and the mattresses were just replaced within the last month (so comfortable!). The rooms are beautifully designed and furnished with a very spacious bathroom. There was a mini-fridge in the room and we had a nice view of the center courtyard area. There were a few youth sports teams staying on property when we were there but the front desk made sure they were in another wing of the hotel. All staff at front desk and the Bistro were friendly and helpful. I met the Assistant General Manager and she was very nice as well. Mohammed at the Bistro went out of his way to make a special breakfast sandwich (even though they were all pre-made) which was very much appreciated. The lobby area had lots of seating and the fireplace made it very inviting. Great space to sit after grabbing a drink or snack from the Bistro. We will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family! read more

I love their newly renovated front, they have this fancy bar / late night snack restaurant now, complete with individual Box seats with flat screen tv. Room seem to be also renovated, I liked it a lot. I've been kind staying away from Marriott group as a whole, since most places I've been to are OLD, but not this location. At last, front desk gals are awesome, they got this typical American gals things going, giggling and joking around, yet they responded my question precisely and knowledgeable of the area, so great job. read more

So anyone please tell me I have been here 2 times both time I booked they said pool wasn't open even though that's the whole reason I went so the kids can swim and of course no refund no sorry no nothing . We reserved the room online and requested a roll away bed-we have 3 kids but they can't be in a room alone. No problem when we reserved. We arrive-my husband checked on the roll away bed. The front desk is unsure, but will look into it. We return after dinner and no roll away bed. I call the front desk. They will look into it and let us know. Still haven't heard and my kids are asleep. Oh, and the pool is open from 8-3. Really? EDIT: I called the front desk again and a blow up bed was brought, which was definitely helpful. The front desk did call our room to ensure it was delivered. We told them we needed a pillow, still waiting. read more

When I travel, I prefer to stay at Marriot hotels if possible, and so we selected the Courtyard Stoughton so we could be near to Boston without the Boston prices. I found this hotel to be very affordable, and it met my expectations but was slightly below my normal Marriot experience. When we arrived, the woman working the check in was very friendly and included a lot of great information, she was the highlight of the hotel for me. Our room was just fine, a bit tight, but set up well with a large bathroom (I love when the sinks are separate from the shower/tub and toilet). Our room had a small mini-fridge as well which was a nice perk. Our particular room was clean, but there were a few slip ups. Several beer bottle caps were left behind in the room from the previous tenant (stuck in the curtains), and someone had definitely been smoking on our balcony which was not allowed. The balconies are very small here, not really even enough room for a chair. During the time of our stay, the hotel had some construction going on, and they started very early in the day. We were out and about sight seeing so this was not a problem for us. Overall our stay was solid here, just a bit below my normal Courtyard by Marriot expectations. We would stay here again if we were in the Boston area. read more

Michelle at the bistro was amazing, she gave me exactly what I wanted and could accommodate to any type of meal I desired. She always has a great attitude at work and makes you feel like all the attention is on you when serving you. Not only was she great with the food but she makes the best drinks at the bar as well! My family members went down to the bar for drinks and claimed the drinks were made perfectly, no sloppy work or spilling wet glasses, just a perfect drink! Not to mention she had them laughing the whole time, truly a great person with great skill. I've stayed here for the past couple years and haven't met a staff member quite like her. She's funny and welcoming and even when I caught her at the end of her shift she still made whatever it is I wanted. True worker till the end of her shift and I hope to see her next time I'm there, such a friendly and outgoing employee! read more

We stayed last night and this was my worst experience at a hotel. The pool room was not vented you were unable to see and was full of about 20 screaming girls. The jacuzzi had only 2 jets working. The screaming girls were loud all night into the early morning hours in the hallways. I tried to let the staff know about my complaints and they didn't seem to care. Also I was quoted a different room rate on the phone and charged more. I would not go back there again. read more

I wish I could give less than one star. This is by far the worst Courtyard hotel I've ever stayed at. First off, when I called they guaranteed me that I'd have an extra large room with a king sized bed. Upon arrival, I was informed that the room would have 2 double beds. No big deal, right? Then I found out that the room was a handicapped room. That's why it was "extra large." The bathroom was so filthy that we decided to line the floor with towels. The walls were paper-thin because we could hear everything going on in the hallways. The double bed we slept on was lumpy and slanted, so I felt like I was falling off the bed the entire night. The morning was no better. My wife and I were looking forward to sleeping in late, but unfortunately the cleaning lady knocked loudly on our door at 8AM!!! I couldn't believe it! The water pressure and temperature fluctuated mid-shower, making for a miserable experience. Then, to top it all off, the breakfast wasn't free. We decided to get out of that horrible place after grabbing some to-go coffee. The only problem was that the coffee was cold! When my wife notified someone that the coffee was cold, the person rolled their eyes and just stalked off. At that point, we decided to just cut our losses and get the heck out of there. I hope that people read this and find another place to stay! read more

When I first try to check in, the front desk said they where overbooked and I had to stay at another Marriott location I told this wasn't possible since I was traveling with a business partner and we only had one vehicle After about 30 minutes of waiting, I was able to get a room with 2 double beds (my reservation was for a king) The decor is out dated. Most of the TV stations are analog. One of the elevators was broken. The location is within walking distance to an Olive Garden,Subway and a BBQ joint. read more

We were in the area to visit family so basically just needed a place to sleep. We have stayed here previously several times and have always been more than satisfied with our stay. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. There is plenty of room including a sitting area, a little area with microwave, coffeemaker and fridge. Our room also had a little balcony that overlooked a courtyard. Didn't go out---it was too cold, but it looked pretty. The hotel also has a restaurant of sorts where you can get breakfast, apps and sandwich type items. Beer and wine along with a few other beverages are served. We didn't need to eat there this time, but have previously. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint was that the glasses in the room were little more than juice glasses. But, that was a very small issue for us and I'm sure we could have asked for larger glasses. We will stay here again! read more

Price is reasonable considering proximity to Boston and Gillette Stadium. Front desk service was very good. Room- eh, okay. Housekeeping was below average - did not dust or vacuum prior to arrival. Towels were old, but clean. Outdoor area was nice, but needed cleaning. I really think they were short staffed. read more

Not up to the normal Marriott standards. Our friends had a room that had a malfunctioning heat. They did open up the next room and make things right, but our room also had a heater that occasionally blew cold air, (it was in the teens outside) All in all, they did make things right, but I expect more from my Marriotts. read more

The staff is incredibly, the service of the front desk ( esp manager Nerbert Ginter) and the Bistro breakfast crew is at the level of the Ritz! The rooms are small but clean. I had a great stay and plan to stay again. The "breakfast included" package provides a great deal for a couple or a family of up to 4. The quality of food in the BIstro is excellent. read more

I picked this hotel after a lot of search on the web and elsewhere. My criteria was to find a place to stay which is close to the T , to allow a easy commute to Boston for visiting. I didn't way to pay exobirant amounts which was typical for the downtown hotels, since the hotel was just being used as a sleep pad. Choose this hotel, since it was somewhat close to Qunicy Adams T-station and not only was it close, the T also had numerous parking spots in the parking deck, so there was no need to search for parking. Ofcourse, the T is not at a walkable distance to the hotel, but is around 10-15 min drive, which is reasonable. Hotel itself was the standard Marriott fare. Decent rooms, nice staff and overall comfortable stay, especially after a long day in the city. I didn't use the pool and other amenities, but it is available. I would highly recommend this place for folks who are looking to visit the city and are looking for a place which is close to the public transport system to commute to Boston. read more
