Very happy with our one night stay at the Residence Inn Braintree. The room was very clean and spacious. The kitchen in the room was awesome. The front desk staff were very friendly and the housekeepers do a great job keeping the hotel very clean. The breakfast was also great with a large variety of food. Halfway through a vacation in Braintree, MA. staying at a Residence Inn by Marriott. This Hotel is about 1 year old and is located off the freeway and close to South Shore Mall. Restaurant 110 is located adjacent to the hotel. The Hotel has a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within about 2 miles. That will get you to the shopping center, Logan Express and the Quincy Adams Metro Stop Service is great, rooms are large and spaceous. Our suite had two queens, a dressing room, kitchenette with a refrigerator, bar table with 4 chairs, a large sectional that folds out to another bed. Breakfast bar is better than average and included in fee. Monday through Wenesday is bar food happy hour. Great sitting areas and TV. Rooms are very reasonsble for the area. read more

We have stayed in a Marriott Hotel on many occasions but, we chose this particular one mainly due to the location. This hotel sits in the middle of where our relatives live. Plus it is close to the Logan Express, South Shore Plaza Mall, has a shuttle that will take you to and from the hotel within a two mile radius. The 110 Grill is right next door, and you get breakfast every morning where you serve yourself, plus coffee, juice, and milk if that's what you prefer. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings the guests are welcomed to a table of food items including drinks. Our room was a suite, with a kitchen, dressing room, living room with a dining table, and a separate room with two queen size beds. It was like having a one bedroom apartment. The living room area had a large sitting area and the couch has an extra pullout bed. Their room service was excellent and we were well taken care of. I would recommend staying at one of their hotels if you ever have to travel. One particular part of this hotel that I neglected to mention is they have a salt water swimming pool and it is heated. We did see some people taking advantage of this during the cold weather. Plus the workout room does get used quite a bit. Nice provisions for the clients and customers. read more

This hotel is in a great location right off I-95 and just across the street from South Shore Plaza shopping mall! The rooms are pretty spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was very nice and very busy, but they even have an outdoor patio for people to sit. The only negative thing about that is that multiple people took that as an opportunity to smoke their cigarettes while eating breakfast, and this smell not only wafted in when the door opened, but got on the plates and silverware they used, which made the buffet room smell. Other than that, this place was very nice and I would definitely stay here again! read more

Staying here for work and think this hotel is great, they are doing an awesome job handling COVID-19, for example they are still offering a delicious decadent complimentary breakfast. They created a large area where you can see all the options and they have the station staffed so when you are ready, you let them know what you would like and they put it all together for you! It's not some cut back version either, it's the full coffee/tea, juice, breads/bagels, waffle station, hot foods (eggs, meats, potatoes, etc), yogurt, fresh fruit, avocado toast, boiled eggs, you name it!! So clearly I was impressed with this. Rooms are clean, large, and comfortable. Staff has all been friendly and pleasant. Great location, really close to mall, trails, nice restaurants, and movie theatre (if it wasn't covid). Highly recommend! read more

Overnight stay to do some shopping and dining in the area. After shopping at South Shore we checked in at about 3pm. Check in was fast, courteous, parking close even w a nice restaurant next door. Dimitri was very friendly and accommodating. We had a king studio on the 4th floor. Room was excellent for 2 adults and a 13 yr old boy. Nice layout, comfortable living space with sectional sleeper sofa, task chair, desk w lg screen tv that pivoted to face either living space or bed area. High top table for 2 and full kitchen w all the amenities. Bed stand had a nice clock radio w power station, lamps and reading lights. Area before bathroom had a built in dresser that allowed rolling bag to sit on top. Closet across with iron, but no mini safe. Bathroom typical, nice lighting, nice shower. Efficient layout for a studio. Didn't use any of the amenities, just breakfast next morning. Nice back patio w a fire pit. Inside breakfast area had three workstation seating areas. Breakfast area nicer than other hotels offering breakfast. Breakfast was a bit nicer. Scrambled eggs looked like real eggs, not powdered, otherwise food was good, coffee was good. Son made a waffle which he enjoyed. Attentive staff clearing table. Enjoyed the stay, close to mall, plenty of restaurants nearby, easy access. Manager attentive as we called to complain about children running in suite above at 10 pm. He came, listened and went upstairs to confront guests about noise. Noise stopped. Definite choice for Braintree weekend again in future and will consider Residence Inn as top choice in future. read more

This a great location to stay for a college shopping weekend. It has access to public transportation(Downtown Boston is a 30 min ride away) great employees, beautiful, clean spacious rooms, free breakfast and to top it off free shuttle service in a two mile radius of the hotel. The hotel has easy access to I-95, it actually is on the frontage road next to it. There is a giant mall and a Target across the main road, Starbucks and several food options in all price ranges just down the street. The closest subway station is a mile and a half away with a large parking garage. We didn't use it, choosing to use the free shuttle provided by the hotel to go back and forth. We never waited more than 5 min for the return trip. Shuttle drivers Francisco and Dean were unfailingly polite and friendly. Hint. Call the hotel when you leave the stop before Quincy Adams. Once you get to the hotel, the front desk staff are friendly, speedy and helpful, even going out of their way to help you. There's a bowl of apples there all day if you need a snack and a newspaper in the morning. Kevin, Dimitri and Serena should be awarded for their excellence in service! There's a small snack store than unfortunately did not sell beer, a nice fire pit, a covered patio, large indoor saltwater swimming pool, small gym and washers and dryers. The hotel is decorated in a relaxing transitional style with funky touches of turquoise and gold. It was restful on the eye. That style continues into your spacious room. We had a 1 bedroom suite, with a large bathroom and a "dressing room" before you entered the bathroom. The living space had a long desk and moderately comfortable couch, and a cafe table for dining. It had a sizable kitchen with a full sized refrigerator. The only downside to the entire stay was that the refrigerator had no ice machine and you had to walk down the hall to get ice yet there was no ice bucket to retrieve the ice. We used a pot. First world problems! The bedroom with two queen sized beds was quite roomy and had an alarm clock you could attach your cell phone to. Very comfy beds and cushy pillows. There was a big tv in both rooms which gave you access to internet tv in addition to regular cable. There is free WiFi! Another pleasant surprise was the operable windows in both rooms so you could have air flow. It's rare hotels let you open windows so it was nice to air out the room when we got back every day for a few minutes. The hotels downtown the weekend we visited were either booked or in the $400 range. When I called this hotel from reading that Braintree was a great less expensive suburb to stay in, I was offered a reasonable rate, less than any price I found on the internet. We ended up staying 4 nights and while yes, it would have been nice to be closer to town, the room in town would not have been as wonderful as the one here! We will stay here when we visit Boston the next time! read more

Conveniently located for us. Has a sofa bed, kitchen with a fridge and microwave, as well as utensils, etc. Very nice, clean room. Wifi is extremely slow, download speed Friday on Speedtest.net is just 1.64 with most people here, but it's at 14.6 on Saturday morning with most people checked out. There is a large fire pit, (powered by propane or natural gas) outside the back lobby door with lots of glass rocks and there's no disgusting wood-burning smell. Our bed's mattress, while newish, was way too soft for us. We both woke up with bad lower back pain. I'm still barely functioning from the pain. It was probably bad luck that we got the worst mattress in the inn, though other soft mattresses in other hotels never bothered me like this one. I cannot say enough positive things about the level of customer service this place is handing out. Stayed here as a wedding guest along with the wedding party and several other guests and we all had a positive experience because the staff was so awesome. I cannot right this review without mentioning Kevin Clark who was super nice to myself and everyone apparently, and made us feel welcome. He certainly has mastered hospitality. I can't also leave out Kevin number two, overnight Kevin, Robinson I think, the entire staff is full of Kevin's, but overnight Kevin was super cool, let me borrow his charger because I let someone borrow mines, and brought it up to me, then came back when I called to pick it up because I was exhausted. That entire front desk staff, and the cleaning ladies, really all the employees I encountered were awesome. It's expensive to stay here, but worth the cost in service. Stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. This new hotel has a modern and spacious lobby, where breakfast is available for all guests. They have a fire pit outside and offer s'mores some nights. Didn't have time for a swim but they do have a salt water heated pool! And the rooms are good bang for the buck if you're traveling in a group. read more

So this hotel opened just a few months ago. I travel to the area often to visit some very important clients and it happens to be close to them. The staff is very warm and welcoming when you come in the door. The lobby is bright and clean. I love Marriott because of the conveniences they have, but this hotel is pretty high on my must stay places. The king size rooms are large, clean and a good size kitchen. One of my favorite things about checkin in here and other Marriotts, they are now going to smart TVs and you can log in to your Netflix or Hulu account to watch your own TV. The bathrooms are big, clean and and work well. There is a heated pool and a decent size fitness room. The breakfast is complimentary and gives you plenty to eat in the morning. I also believe they do a mixer some evenings. They have a shuttle and are very close and can even walk to shopping, a mall or target and an AMC movie theatre. If you are looking to stay near the Quincy or Braintree area, make this your place. You will not be disappointed. read more

After a two month stay, nothing but good things to say about this place. Great-- absolutely great- cleaning services at almost any time of the day we left the room. Great friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and in the cafe. Somehow, another guest that cannot cook or follow no smoking rules set off the fire alarm for the entire hotel to evacuate in the middle of the night two or three different times. ‍ That was the only annoying part of the entire stay. read more

CHECK YOUR ROOM FOR USED HERION NEEDLES & TRASH For a new hotel, this place was disgusting. I am a gold Marriott member so I frequent these hotels and this has been my worst Marriott stay ever. When I checked in, I had high hopes saying the hotel is pretty new and the main lobby along with front desk staff were nice enough. I go to my room and start putting stuff away and laying behind the dresser in the bedroom were 2 used needles. I couldn't believe it. Are these rooms cleaned between guests?? Trust me when I say I did not go looking for anything - they were laying behind the dresser in plain sight. I called the front desk and the women comes and brings me keys to another room. That one was needle free thankfully. The next day I was expecting to be contacted by management. Nope. I wasn't. Still haven't been How can you have guests find multiple dirty needles in their room (in a new hotel) and not call to apologize ?? That was my last Marriott hotel experience. read more

The hotel was clean and had a great breakfast. Employees were very nice. They do provide some food items at night, but no alcoholic drinks. Close to many shops and movie theater. The only negative is that it is close to a major highway, and depending where your room is, the noise level could be high. So, make sure you ask for a room away from the highway. read more
