We checked in this Hyannis, MA location for a 2 night stay. It is in a very convenient spot on a main drag with shops, stores, groceries, and restaurants in close proximity and some within walking distance. The hotel is quite large and we were given a room in the back area of the hotel which had several entrance doors (using the key) and plenty of parking. The check in process was easy and straight forward. The room was large with 2 queen beds, tv, mini fridge and a microwave. A very clean and tastefully decorated room, with a comfy chair and futon right by the window which looked out on the courtyard. Loved the decorative Cape Cod pillow. Our request for extra pillows was quickly honored. We were probably about 20 to 30 steps from the indoor pool and we were worried it might be noisy, but heard nothing from our room. A quiet and tranquil stay. We did not swim, but did check out the pool area and it was spacious and inviting. The shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied. We loved the shelving in bathroom to house the towels. We very much enjoyed our stay, the price was very reasonable and would highly recommend. 4.5 stars. read more

It's in a VERY convenient area, really close to shopping areas. The rooms are comfy & clean. The pool is nice but it's not heated enough...also they have a sign that says the pool is open 9am-10pm but when we came at 11am, our keys didn't work. We were told that we had to have a lifeguard on duty & I've never experienced that before.... read more

This hotel is conveniently located in Hyannis and has lots of options for food and shopping nearby. The pool and patio area was beautiful. The life guard was amazing. He played and entertained our kids for 2 straight hours. If it were not for him I am not sure my kids would have swam that long. He was sociable and truly a great person with lots of energy. The fitness center was very small and disappointing. The rooms were updated and clean. I was not thanked for my "gold Elite" Bonvoy status which was disappointing. A great disappointment. We were only here two nights, thank goodness. The staff was friendly but the room was so bad. The hotel was fully booked when we checked in for the night so we didn't have much of a choice. We appreciated the on sight laundry which was $3.50 per load. The biggest issue- NOT clean and bad water pressure. The room is old, the bathroom was dirty, bathtub had hairs in it as well as around the toilet. The AC was a big wall unit that was so loud. The carpets looked old. The location is basically on the main road, next to a BIG shopping center/Target. We chose this location as its near the Ferry but would never recommend it and definitely not for someone's vacation for more than one night in Cape Cod. We told them about our issues and emailed management. They replied that they will speak with housekeeping but not points were offered to comp us or any credits towards our Marriot account. This hotel I have to say was a disappointing experience. We were here for a week. They had a breakfast buffet of sorts with prepackaged pasteries, boiled eggs, boxed cereal. It was not good. No bread, only prepared packages of processed waffles. The coffee was beyond horrendous.. ditchwater.. The staff were nice and friendly, they did have a small supply shop near the from desk for some necessities and drinks (soda & water) along with chops and candy bars. The hotel is located right beside Cape Cod Mall. We parked and walked everywhere but I'm sure not many people would as it's a good brisk 45 minutes walk to Main Street Hyannis. We got cabs/über home every night. The room was tight, a tiny wardrobe that only accommodated a few articles of clothing. The bathroom.. Meh.. They had no bar or restaurant and the gym was tiny. They really need to up their game here. The whole place needs updating. It's our only regret about our trip. It was also super expensive for the stay!! read more

Before booking this stay, I didn't realize there was a Courtyard Marriott on the Cape. Also, it is bigger than it looks from the outside! It was a bit disappointing that there was only 1 regular coffee (and 3 decafs) in the room for 3 people, but luckily the Bistro was open to get Starbucks coffees anyways. The AC fan was way too loud and did not respond to any thermostat changes we tried to make. The TV controls were a bit strange, but we figured it out eventually. (visited 5/27/21) read more

I made two reservations for this hotel, one for my fiancé and I for two nights, and the other for my sister and my mother for one night. I made my reservations easily online and I was using my Marriott rewards points. This was in a great location to downtown Hyannis and just a few miles away from the water and the ferry. Being from the Cape area, this didn't seem like so much of a vacation as it did a staycation, but I was fine with either! When my fiancé and I arrived, we were greeted warmly by Joanna. I had asked to be put in adjoining rooms with my mom and sister. For that reason, we had to opt for two queens as opposed to one king. That was fine. when I mentioned that my mom wasn't in great health and she would need to be accommodated appropriately, they said that they would do their best to make her stay comfortable. When they arrived, they were able to check in early and the girls up front make sure that my mom had everything she needed. I really appreciated that because it was a big deal that my mom was staying at this hotel with us. Each morning my fiancé and I took advantage of a free breakfast. The Courtyard doesn't offer free breakfast but because of my Elite status I got free breakfast for everybody. It was delicious as well. One day I got avocado toast, the next day I got a breakfast sandwich. The last day I was there we were in a rush because we were trying to make a tee time and the people there at the breakfast station worked so fast to get us in and out which I really appreciated. They have a fitness center. Although, small-It does have cardio equipment and weights. There is a fairly large indoor, heated pool that is beautiful and I got to swim in one day. The property is in a great location, the service was great, the room was nice and spacious and had everything I needed. Overall, if I needed to stay in the area again for Cape Cod wedding I would definitely consider this property. read more

At $370/night this place is a DUMP. The front desk attendant was pleasant and helpful, but the property is basically a motel 6. The AC didn't work, the room was dusty, the bathroom was filthy. There were stains all over the carpet and walls. The drain to the shower didn't work. The mini fridge needs to be turned on in 2 hour increments so you can't really store any food in it. I've been to plenty of other Marriott properties during COVID that were very clean and sanitized regularly - this was not. You can tell it's pet friendly because there are urine stains in the carpet. Also, the "Lifeguard" at the pool spends his time with earbuds in watching stuff on his phone. Also, like the rest of Cape Cod NO ONE is wearing a mask. It's obnoxious how impervious people think they are to COVID at this hotel. read more

This place is pretty nice/clean. Hubby and I drove all the way from San Diego. When we checked in the staff were very nice and professional. Until we walked to the bar area and thought it's such a beautiful lounge, I start taking photos. The clerk at the bar say, " you can't be doing that" my response "doing what taking pictures?". Clerk say yes, you can't be taking photos of the bar in a Rude manner. Told her I was just merely wanting to share how gorgeous this lounge is w/friends and family on social media. Wow, I am in disbelief how rude this clerk was. Never have I been told you can't take photos of a lounging area. I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

It's an adequate Courtyard Marriott. It was a long walk from the elevator to the room, but once we got there it was fine - clean enough and not much more than that. The walk was weird - there weren't more than 10-15 cars in the parking lot, but we had to have walked by at least 30 rooms finding ours. Also strange was that they told us when the breakfast buffet was and made a big deal of it at check-in. Well, I usually stay at Holiday Inn Express, so I figured it would come with the price of the room. I had some mediocre breakfast food, nothing better than what you would get at this sort of hotel anywhere... and then they brought a bill for $10. For $10, I would have gone somewhere where you actually like the food - you don't just have it because you need breakfast and you think it's free. At $129 for the night, it wasn't a great deal, either - plus there was the breakfast penalty (how I thought of the breakfast $, anyway). If you have to stay there, it's fine. If you get to choose, there's got to be something better. read more

This is an amazing hotel (I stayed here also in 2008). It is huge with lots of hallways. My room was clean and roomy, with wonderful beds. There was a little bench in my room that overlooked a big green area - that was especially nice. There was a frig in room and a coffee pot. All the hotel staff I came in contact with were very nice. I was using the business center one morning, and the girl at the desk was especially helpful. There's a great coin-laundry room. I always like that in hotel - it makes travelling so convenient to not have to travel around with dirty clothes. Good free wi-fi and plenty of free parking. There is no free breakfast here, but there is a nice café in the lobby that serves Starbucks coffee and breakfast. This hotel is expensive (but, I got a good rate), but that's because of the area. It is right next to a mall (walking distance) and there are lots of restaurants around. The Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory is just a short drive away and Downtown Hyannis is also only a short drive away (about 7 minutes). I stayed here twice (separately) in one week. All good, no complains and I'll be back! read more

I think what I like so much about this hotel is that its walking distance from the airport. Staff was incredibly friendly and had my room prepared earlier than scheduled. I was able to relax and get cleaned up before heading to the Mashpee Wampanoag Pow Wow. I enjoyed a very restful good night's sleep, with hardly any noise. I overslept a little, but still caught my flight in good time, thanks to the convenient location of the hotel. I would have loved to stay longer and check out the pool and other activities the hotel offers, but I will definitely keep this place in mind in the future. This place has potential if they would redo all the rooms. The lobby is very nice. Great concept with a bistro offering libations, food, etc. Lots of places to sit and hang out. The pool was nice, but the "guard" on duty in the evening was wearing headphones and looking at his phone the entire time. Seriously? This was awful. If you are not going to make it a "swim at own risk" pool, then hire an accredited guard who will pay attention. Not that I wasn't watching my own kids every second, but this was just neglectful. The rooms are very outdated for $300 / night during high season weekend. The desk chair didn't fit under the desk, the paint and ceiling were chipping everywhere and the tiles were kinda gross. They have a hard wood bench in the room that is pointless. Get something more comfortable to sit on. Furniture and lights are old. They do have a good size fridge to use which was nice. The unfortunate part of my visit was check-in. It was midnight, and I had to wait. Then finally an older man came from the parking lot to help me while the other attendant helped someone else. He said about 2 sentences to me during check-in, explained nothing about the hotel, gave me only 1 key, and gave me wrong directions/ parking instructions for our room. Not sure I will return here unless they do over all the rooms. read more

Stayed here recently as well as a number of years ago. On the most recent trip the first room had a mildew smell so they switched us out right away. It's fairly typical of a Courtyard but maybe a little tired. Wish they would make them have a bit more personality, reflective of the area. The only nod to the Cape is the giant fish tank. read more

It would be great if they had a continental breakfast, but I get it with the Bistro. My only dislike was the ridiculous fee of $3.50 per load for laundry and $4.00 to dry. Have stayed a couple of times. Nice, clean, reliable. One of the few hotels on the Cape that does not smell like feet (all Cape places seem to smell like feet). Love the lobby/lounge. It's a typical Courtyard by Marriott so if you have stayed in one before, you know what to expect. I will say, I have stayed at several CY's and this is one of the nicer. It is clean and well kept. Actually, they were going thru the empty rooms today and shampooing all the carpets. The rooms are your typical CY room. They do have a refrigerator, even though it is not listed online. Rooms have both wired and WiFi....for FREE...which is nice. I was able to connect with both my laptop and iPhone without any issues. One major plus to this hotel over other hotels in the area is that the pool is indoors!! That means even when it is a rainy Cape day you can still keep the kids busy! There is a lifeguard, but under a certain age still requires an adult (rightfully so). It is just the pool. There is no hot tub, kid pool, etc. The shallow end is 3ft and deep is over 8ft so there is something for all and the little ones (over 3ft) can still walk around. The fitness ROOM is small, but it has a couple tread mills, elliptical, and weight system. The treadmills are the new ones with the individual cable TVs so you can keep your mind occupied while you run off all the chowda you should be eating! My rating is comparing this with other Courtyards and hotels in this area, not with hotels as a whole since obviously there are hotels nicer than a CY; however, if I am in the area again I will definitely consider staying here and felt comfortable having my family here. There were tons of other families at the hotel as well. The parking lot butts up against the Cape Cod mall, there is a Dunkin Donuts across the street, Trader Joe's next door, and several other restaurants in the area. read more

Another night, another Marriott Courtyard. We seem to be staying at this brand a lot lately. This one is fine, nicely located next to the Cape Cod Mall (good if it's raining) and a short drive from downtown Hyannis and the beaches. The room we stayed in was recently renovated (front desk says most rooms have been re-done over in the last year) and was pleasant, clean, comfortable, and the AC blocks out other sounds. There is a new lengthy work table with plenty of outlets for electronics and a wall-mounted TV. The indoor pool is nice. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the lobby is attractive, though we didn't eat at the Bistro. Prices just before high season are about what you'd expect on the Cape (ranging from $150 to $200 or so), much less than what you'll pay in July. But then, we presume you knew that going in. read more

We booked our room through priceline.com, name your own price, so we didn't get to choose where we were staying. After tax and everything, I think we paid about $78 for a $129 room. The room was a normal hotel room, nothing extraordinary about it, it adequately met our needs. I'm used to a complimentary breakfast, so that would have been nice, but wasn't a deal-breaker. We were skipping breakfast to have a big seafood lunch anyways, so I guess it worked out for the best! :) read more

The only way you would like this 'hotel' is if you were homeless and being chewed on at night by wild dogs! The rooms are noisy, the sounds of toilets flushing are a nice touch and the walls are so thin that you could record 'sex capades' from the wall of your room to the next. The Staff are nice, the manager told me that they 're-did' the lobby and will do the rooms soon, oye! It was a Holiday Inn before and still looks it! My suggestion is that unless you like traveling on a dime AVOID this place at all costs. Take you jacket and maybe a loose travel bag and sleep in your trunk, you will be far more rested! I do believe that all the 'good' comments are paid staff members posting...NO WAY would anyone like this place AND if you have disabilities, they will make you walk and walk....almost like 'rehab' at a concentration camp! Perfect in winter. This place looks like it was just redone, the decor is clean and simple. The room was spacious, good sized tv, roomy bathroom and a comfy bed. Everything we needed for a quick one night getaway. Lots of amenities and what looks like a nice grassy area out back for hanging out after the beach in summer. would stay again if in the area. Stayed here with family for 3 nights. It is very conveniently located to Main Street and to the ferries to get to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. The hotel rooms were very clean and the lobby is nice. Wish they provided shuttles to ferries and downtown. Overall very happy and will definitely come back if we are in the area. read more

Normally we stay in a quaint cottage when on the Cape, but we have also stayed here when we visit off season when the cottage isn't available. We stay in many Marriott properties which sometime includes Courtyard's. This one is kind of plain and very average. It was surely clean and orderly, just unimpressive. Since there are few chain hotels on the Cape (thankfully) this is satisfactory overall. read more

Please know, this is a 2 floor hotel. Small and musty smelling. We traveled all day, arrived at 7:30pm and just wanted ice and soda. We walked the length of the 2nd floor...no ice machine, no vending machine. Down to 1st floor. Still no ice machine or soda machine. Now to front desk. Oh, they only have ice and soda here and each 16oz soda will cost $2.50 each. Back to the smelly room...tired, so we deal with it. Light a tea light and incense. I always travel with these items. At approximately 8:15pm or so, someone knocks on our door. We don't know anyone here, we don't answer. Knocks again, aggressively. I look out the peep hole and there is a strange woman and a man, possibly a janitor? Now keep in mind, they are not identifying themselves. I am a bit nervous and my husband is a licensed gun owner. In all seriousness, we got our gun out when we got a THIRD very, very loud banging on our door. Still not identifying themselves. With my husband behind me, we open the door. A lady in jeans and a tee shirt (again, not identifying herself) stating 'this is a non smoking hotel' and I say I am not smoking...I have a candle and incense. She says, I smell smoke and you have to leave tomorrow (we were supposed to stay 2 nights) and we are charging you a $250 fee for smoking. I told her we would be happy to leave, the place is a dump. We then proceeded to pack our items immediately and left the hotel 15 minutes after the lovely exchange with the 'staff' (if that's what they were). We would like to recommend the Fairfield Inn on Iyannnough Rd (just a mile or so away from this unprofessional hotel) as we had a lovely stay there. Ice machines on each floor, friendly staff that was actually dressed like staff. As you can imagine, I will be fighting the 'smoking' charge. Courtyard Marriott Cape Cod Hyannis is a sad excuse for a hotel property and the quality and lack of professionalism from their staff leaves a lot to be desired. Extremely rude bartender sarcastically refused to serve a drink to me after an extremely long day of work. Condescendingly he told me he had stopped serving 20 minutes ago as if I should have known 10:30 was some sort of universal cutoff time. All would have been fine with me if he hadn't laughed and mimicked me in a sarcastic, taunting voice like I was a child in front of other customers. Very unprofessional and ruined my impression of an otherwise nice and friendly hotel. read more

We have stayed here twice. This hotel is nothing special but there is nothing unacceptable about it. It's on a main road next to the mall. It's in a pretty good spot to travel to different spots on the cape because it's close to the highway. Don't expect a view or a quaint decor. It's close to the airport so there is some noise. The hotel is very big with lots of hallways, which my kids loved! The guards at the pool were wonderful and very friendly! Even found pool toys for the kids to use. Awesome hotel! After leaving the hotel and checking into ferry boat we found signs up everywhere that said there was a health advisory regarding drinking Hyannis Tap Water. There was not one sign up in the hotel or our room regarding health warning. I called the hotel with this concern and they stated the Bistro is filtered but the taps in the guest rooms were not- where they provide glasses and coffee machines. They said the concern was pregnant women- and I'm pregnant and drank the water. They did rebate my room - but still management should alert their guests of these things! read more
