We stayed at Residence Inn Seattle Bellevue for 7 days and we loved this location. It had a fully furnished kitchen and a pullout sofa bed. They serve a delicious breakfast in the morning with coffee, teas, milk and a variety of breakfast foods including awesome waffles. The only downside was we kept running out of hot water to shower and the heater is in the room so every time it clicked on it made a load humming sound. Oh and you can hear the upstairs guest walking around their room all times of the night . read more

Don't stay here if you want a clean place to stay (upon arrival we had pubic hairs in master bedroom and bathroom, crusted food on the silverware), have dogs, don't want tree sap all over your cars or the fear of spiders!!!! This hotel has spider webs and spiders everywhere, doesn't have a location for dogs to use the restroom unless you want to walk up several flights of stairs every time your dogs need to go potty... to a pathetic piece of grass, has horrible breakfast that made our youngest sick on day two, horrible staff!!!!!( except the kind gentleman at night, the only staff member to ask for verification when requesting an extra room key.) Unfortunately, this was one of those hotel stays where the more I noticed, the less comfortable I became. When we first checked in, the room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned or properly prepared. The bed in the bedroom was poorly made, the sofa bed wasn't properly made either, and the floor did not look like it had been vacuumed well. The room is also very dimly lit, which honestly makes it harder to notice some of these things at first. It also appeared that they may have been having housekeeping/staffing issues. The housekeeping supervisor was the person I saw cleaning/preparing rooms and was also the person who came to our room at one point. I can't say for certain what their staffing situation was, but based on the condition of our room, the housekeeping was definitely not up to the standard I would expect from a hotel. Initially, I was willing to overlook the poorly made beds. What changed everything for me was when I realized the blanket provided for my son on the sofa bed had cigarette burn holes in it. I personally took the blanket downstairs and showed it to the gentleman at the front desk. He tried to take the damaged blanket from me, but then told me they DID NOT HAVE ANY MORE BLANKETS. I literally had to ask him, "If you don't have another blanket, what is my son supposed to sleep under?" I ended up taking the damaged blanket back because my son needed something to sleep under that night. That was where I drew the line. If a hotel cannot replace a damaged blanket with a clean one for a child, my confidence in the cleanliness and operation of the hotel is going to go down significantly. It wasn't about wanting an extra blanket. I was trying to replace bedding with cigarette burn holes in it, and they had nothing available. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable staying for the remainder of our reservation. I tried to check out early and requested a refund for the remaining two nights so that I could move my family to another hotel where I felt more comfortable. Unfortunately, I kept getting pushback regarding the refund, and ultimately we ended up staying. To be fair, the following day they did bring us a fresh blanket, and the bed was made properly this time. I appreciated that they addressed those issues, but by then the experience from the first night had already affected how I felt about the hotel. I travel and stay in hotels regularly, so I understand that things happen and every room isn't going to be perfect. But there is a difference between a minor inconvenience and not having clean, appropriate bedding available to replace damaged bedding. That situation said a lot to me. It's really unfortunate because I wanted to enjoy our stay, but the condition of the room, the housekeeping concerns, the blanket situation, and the difficulty I experienced when I tried to leave early made this a hotel I would not choose to stay at again. read more

The property was very well kept. The dining area was clean and well stocked with a great variety of breakfast food options. The suite we stayed in was well kept and up to date. Loved the community board in main lobby with a variety of scheduled social events for the longer term stays. My only suggestion would be to book families with children on the lower floor suites. We experienced running dropping of items and yelling (as kids do) " literally " all night. I have know idea why the parents allowed this or how they slept through it as we did not. read more

Brought our grandchildren for an overnight stay in large part because of the indoor "heated" pool. Pool was too cold for our grandchildren and 2 other families who had come down to enjoy the pool. I spoke to the front desk but the girl was not sympathetic and just said "I'll report it". We were unable to use point for the room type and it was very expensive. We will not return. read more

My car got broken in the hotel garage of Residence Inn Bellevue when we stayed overnight on 6 December 2025. The back window glass of my car was smashed. Hotel manager said they can't do anything or provide any compensation. They don't have video camera surveillance in the garage & security personnel surveillance was not good. We stayed in this set of hotels a couple times over the past few years. The property houses a Residence Inn, a Courtyard and a Fairfield Inn, all with an entrance from the same road. We checked in rather late and luckily they had a couple rooms. We generally get upgrades if they're available and while it said there were some online, they weren't willing to budge much despite it being 9pm on a Saturday and us only staying the night. Weird, but whatever. The gentleman checking us in was friendly and we ended up in a 2 bedroom "Penthouse Suite" - which just meant a building with four total, 2 bedroom setups. These almost feel like they may have been town houses in the past as there were 12 separate small buildings each with a number of rooms contained within them. The room itself was nice. It had 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a loft with an additional bed and TV. It worked pretty well with our three little guy says they could take the bedroom with the separate doors and it allowed us to stay up and not have to camp out in a bathroom or something. There were total of three TVs in addition to the kitchenette. We could grab some Chick-fil-A on the way so the extra chicken nuggets stay nice and fresh overnight. The bed upstairs in the loft was not particularly comfortable nor were the pillows, but it did get the job done. The thumping bass music from somewhere within earshot until 2 am wasn't awesome, but may not have been from the property- it's something that was definitely an issue for us though. A number of the USB outlets on the lamps didn't work and the showerheads were a little bit on the low side within the actual showers. We were also missing body wash in the shower. All pretty minor stuff, but the sorts of things that we noted by the time we'd gone. The parking spaces were also a bit cramped for anything other than compact cars. We drive a small SUV and had to empty the car before parking because things were tight. Again, not a deal breaker, but another thing that added up when there were a lot of hotel rooms available in the area. A decent spot for when you need a kitchenette or a double room, but also probably worth checking the surrounding areas as well. With similar standalone places within a couple miles, this place will likely be a backup in the future. read more

The room in building 14 was outdated and VERY VERY noisy. The door had a very strong spring hinge which required a bit of strength to open. Upon walking in all looked good. But then we noticed the black out drapes didn't close easily--requiring multiple attempts to overlap. Then we noticed the person above us was walking around...for hours and hours. Two hours later we kept hearing the footsteps and squeaking floor, not their fault, causing us to stay awake. Almost midnight we fell asleep--according to our smart watches. Then the heat came on and sounded like a jet engine- waking both of us. The air handler is in the locked small closet between the bed and the bathroom. Swap the jacket closet near the entry door with the air handler closet. Went back to sleep only to be woken up at 5 am by rushing water sound of the person above us taking a shower--we assume, and the jet engine sound of the heater. Then attempting to go back to sleep with the noise...guess what? Yep, squeaking floor from above while the person walked around. Eyes wide open. Ugh! Then door slam...quiet. The person above left. Worst hotel for sleeping I've ever experienced. Personnel were very friendly, very helpful and quick to process check-in and check-out. Won't be back here anytime soon or forever if I can help it. read more

This place was a very bad stay. Our first hour was bouncing through rooms to find one that wasn't in some state of repair. I can't list everything that happened, it'd be too long. Residence Inn also messed up by having two within 8min of each other with the same name. We went to the wrong one first and it was much nicer. Choose the other if you can. read more

I have Platinum status with Marriott, with lifetime elite benefits-- I mention this only to illustrate that frequency of my stays with Marriott properties and familiarity with their policies. Upon reserving the stay, I indicated that a late check-out of 4pm was requested. This is a benefit reserved for elite members, but clearly only when vacancy allows. After checking in to the room, I sent a message to the front desk requested approval for my late checkout request, but after a few hours, had not received a response. I then called the front desk and made the request. I was immediately told that it was not possible because they did not have availability. I questioned this, as it seemed strange that this particular property would be sold out on a Sunday. The staff member reiterated that that they were full, stating they were 100% capacity. After hanging up, I went online to find that I could very easily reserve any number of rooms (studios, one bedrooms, two bedrooms, etc.). In fact, the app would allow me to book up to 3 of each of these rooms-- they were clearly not sold out, they simply didn't want to be bothered with my request. After discovering their vacancy, I called back to the front desk and informed them of such. They then told me that they must have misunderstood me, that it was Monday that was full but that their wifi was down and they couldn't update the record at that time. I was told that it was likely okay, but to call back and verify. Sometime between that conversation and Sunday morning, someone went into my reservation and updated the checkout time to 4pm. I assumed, that I would not need to call at this point, given that the change had clearly been made. I was incorrect. At 12:30pm I received a call from the front desk demanding that I leave the room. When I advised them that I had received approval, that the change had already been made in the system, he responded with "no, that is not the case" and once again tried claiming that they were at capacity. At this point, I chose to leave. Upon doing so, I left a message with the front desk with all this info and the response was to deny my account of the situation and to advise me to stay elsewhere. To be clear, I have screenshots of everything, including the updated checkout time. It's confusing to me why they wouldn't verify what I'm saying before calling me a liar again, but customer service just isn't a priority here. read more

We stayed in this hotel for a week and a day. I must say we checked in at 12 A.M. and they were quick to get up our rooms and keys. As we got to our rooms, it was really roomy. We were fortunate to have two bedroom, so it was a upstairs downstairs room. There was also a kitchen so we were able to make our own food. I enjoyed having a hot breakfast every single morning! They offered: eggs, rice, sausage, fruits, yogurt, breads, coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, etc. Now we need to get used to not having all of that daily and back to reality. I also enjoyed having a heater in our hotel room because it was in the 30s when we stayed here. The room service cleaned up the rooms nicely daily and also provided new towels daily. Whenever I travel to this side of the state, I usually stay here in Bellevue at the Residence Inn by Marriott. The rooms are clean, although a bit dated in appearance, otherwise I'd give a higher score. However, the price is great and there are even fireplaces in the suite! The lobby and breakfast dining area are clean and nice looking. The breakfast is nice and of good quality. The pool is clean and the grounds outside are well manicured and peaceful. When brought to manager's attention, barely apologetic and no offer for monetary compensation or points credit - Kitchen poorly stocked, no trash bags or dishwasher pods - Dirty dishes in dishwasher - Crumbs in kitchen drawers and many in oven (causing a burning smell that permeated the room when used) - Conditioner was nearly empty--ran out after just a couple uses - Cigarette butts on patio (and all throughout grounds) - Lots of trash throughout grounds in general - Large ball of black hair found on carpet - Housekeeping entered the room while we were out, ignoring our request left on the door that we were "all set" - Toilet made a high-pitched screeching noise until handle was shaken - Booked a King Studio (and confirmed at check in) but received Queen Studio - Could never get through to hotel desk via room phone, always had to walk to lobby to ask for things - The coat closet smelled horrendous so had to keep shut - No extra toilet paper, had to ask - The sofa pullout did not have a complete set of sheets, had to ask - Had to ask for extra towels twice because housekeeping took them away when they entered our room (ignoring our sign) and they didn't leave the same amount they took - No pool towels (why we asked for more) - Pool was frequently closed for cleaning during peak hot times of day - Landscaper blew leaves and dirt all over our patio with leaf blower - The property is very outdated and in need of lots of cleaning and repair - Just want to note there's an option when booking directly through Marriott website to add special instructions (extra pillow, extra towel, sofa bed sheets). I did this and not one item was prepped. Pointless feature! - Wi-Fi was terrible, TV barely functioned (pixelated and picture couldn't match sound) - They emailed four folios--one was blank and three were only for parking, so I had to walk to the lobby at checkout to get the actual folio for the stay When I asked to speak with a manager about these concerns, no one was on site. The staff advised me to come back in the morning at a specific time, which I did. When I arrived the next morning, the staff said the manager wouldn't be on site that day. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. And to think this stay was worth over $2,500! read more

This hotel was over $400 for 2 nights. Desperately needs updating...very dark and dingy. No shuttle to anywhere and it's really inaccessible to any restaurants or shopping on foot. We took an Uber from the airport (had no car) so we had to Uber for every meal. The one time we did walk, it was ALL UP A STEEP INCLINE AND MY 81 year old mother almost couldn't make it. I wouldn't mind even paying for a shuttle to the mall etc but NOTHING is offered. Note: there is NOTHING around this hotel for visitors. With no car, you are stuck! I would highly recommend paying a little more and being in the heart of town where you have shopping and restaurants available. We were going on a cruise so I was trying to pinch Pennie's and I should not have given it cost me more in the long run to stay In a run down hotel. On a good note, the staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. read more

I usually don't write reviews but this time I am compelled. We are staying the this Residence Inn right now for 9 days. On our 2nd night i asked front desk where I should throw trash and he was nice enough to put the bag away for me. He then suggested leaving our trash bag outside by our door for housekeeping to pick up. The next day I did what he suggested but our trash stayed out all day and when we came back at 9pm it was still there. Last night I asked front desk for toilet paper and I was told they were completely out. Tonight I asked again and still no toilet paper. Me and my girlfriend rented a room here (we're a lesbian couple) They were rude from the start and barged in without knocking and caught us having an intimate moment. The creepy guy they sent told us our music was too loud. He threatened to call the cops and saw us naked. I have never experienced this before in my life. Usually they would call and tell us to turn down the music. But he came in and stared at us naked and then threatened to call the police if we were loud again. This is obvious discrimination since we are a gay couple. I am completely disgusted, embarrassed, and feeling violated that he felt he could just walk into our suite without asking. I had the fortune (or misfortune)of staying here during a month after a flood ruined my home bathrooms . There was a lot to like . For starters, it is pet friendly ! They even have a little trail to walk the dog . They also have a hot breakfast each morning. Finally, the suites are basic but quite large. It was very good for what we needed. This location needs some help. The plan was for a 10 night stay. We only made it 2. From the moment we showed up, the communication problems started. We were given the wrong hours for the complementary breakfast, so there was no food left when we showed up with what we thought was 30 minutes to spare. The housekeeping process was not explained to us until we noticed that we hadn't gotten service for the two days we were there. The refrigerator sounded like a leaf blower, which the maintenance guy was able to somewhat quiet to a lower volume whine. Without housekeeping,we called for more towels and were told to go to the desk and get them. Talked to the very nice manager about the problems, thus far, and he was very understanding. Returned to the room to discover that there was no water. Called the front desk to find out what was up. They failed to mention the water wasn't working (when I went to get towels, for a shower) and said it would be back on 'someone tomorrow'. By then, I had enough and requested they arrange that we move to a different hotel, which they did - even guaranteed the same room rate. Much to their credit, they comped the two nights I spent there, hence the 2 stars. The rooms in the hotel have been renovated, but the exterior infrastructure is pretty classic old style residence inn. Many, many stairways and narrow passage ways. If you are disabled, or have limited walking ability, this place is not for you. read more

What a really lovely setting, two story buildings all interconnected around the pool and gardens. The rooms are great, with lots to offer. The breakfast is outstanding, especially the vegetarian scramble. When we checked in my husband who often stays at Marriott properties was greeted with a welcome package including a chocolate bar with a wrapper with his name on it! The lobby was comfortable enough that our Seattle family and a friend could come and join us. Our stay in Seattle was made more comfortable by this Residence Inn. read more

This place is like a college campus. There are various buildings spread out in the parking lot. Sort of like a camp ground now that I think of it. The front desk clerk was nice, but confused. Fresh cookies are a nice touch. Free breakfast is OK. If you are a foodie, it wont do much for you. carb loaders will delight. The rooms were dingy and the door lock was not working properly. But for $98 it was ok for one night. I hate when a hotel jams you into a handicap room and doesn't tell you. This Residence Inn is a grandpa-in-a-tracksuit motel: kind, well-intended, but definitely beyond its time. Location is very convenient to WA520 and I-495 freeways. You would consider it a suburban hotel, and really nothing would be nearby or walkable. In a downstairs unit we heard the floors squeaking when folks walk around above you. The HVAC unit in our room was very loud. The light fixture above the sink had an annoying electronic hum, and all surfaces appear to have ~20 coats of paint. Positives: friendly and helpful staff; fireplace in the room, and you can buy duraflame logs in the lobby. Pool and tennis court. Bottom line: the place is certainly serviceable, just very tired. Negotiate a bargain price for this motel and you will be happy. read more

Great staff overall, but hotel itself is a little more difficult than a typical Residence. 1. Top floor rooms (2 bedrooms) tend to generate noise complaints if you do so much as walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Noises will generate these complaints as early as 9pm! Cheaply made rooms (at high Residence Inn prices, btw) tend to generate problems like this, and good lord, these buildings are cheap, cheap, cheap! If you must stay here, I recommend bottom floor, unless you drop straight to sleep at 9pm and sleep like a brick until 7am or so. TOP FLOORS also have dreaded STAIRS (no elevators here), which are also a pain if you have luggage... especially after navigating the maze (see below) 2. Spotty internet in the day, and internet doesn't work all night. Every single night it's broken. Always, even (and especially it seems) if you use the inroom ethernet. And I've been here long term, I can say this is the norm. I think they intentionally "break" the internet all night to stop people from downloading torrents and all that. However, if you have a coder in the family that sometimes works late, or heck, even if you want to catch a late night movie on Netflix... forget about it. This is not a hotel for (even occasional) insomniacs or creatives, period. (even though they stay here much to their chagrin!) I would say that they definitely need to fix this, or stop advertising internet. Especially the ethernet going dead all night, because people who bring their own routers are serious... and really need the damn internet. 3. It's a maze! The whole hotel property is setup as a series of MC Escher like staircases and platforms. For short stays, it's an absolute horror to get your bags in and out. For longer stays, where you can spend a few hours getting in and out, it's fine. There's no way they could fix this, so I would simply recommend you consider this for longer stays, and NOT for shorter ones unless you have almost no bags. If you follow this tip, you'll find the maze to be cute -- if you don't, you'll find it to be a huge nuisance. 4. Check out glassdoor.com. Residence Inn tends to pay minimum wage to ALL of it's front of house staff. Yet they'll charge $259 a night like a Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria? (at the time of this writing, Waldorf IS the exact same rate) C'mon! Marriott overall is a BAD ACTOR in the business world that makes capitalism look bad. And on a practical note, do you really want people on minimum wage cleaning your rooms? Never had a problem here yet (east Seattle folks tend to be honest and down to earth), but I can tell you for certain that Marriott's have been the only chain that where my things reliably disappear. After reviewing their salaries, I now understand why! People, we need to start paying the people who serve us better so they can have safe cars and happy families, too. Anything else is INHUMANE and inexcusable, period! (and most people working at Marriott's aren't McDonalds aged kids, they're definitely ADULTS WITH FAMILIES, who deserve a decent life, too) As customers, we all need to start staying at Marriott's less and more at places that actually pay their staff 2013 level salaries. And let Marriott's know why at review sites like this. Marriott is a much worse actor than McDonalds, because Marriott's CHARGE A LOT. Ain't no dollar menu here... d'oh! 5. TV's are HD, but the feeds are (hilariously and painfully!) not. They reroute everything over the lowest quality, noisiest analog cable they can find, so if you end up catching your favorite TV show you'll feel like you're watching it in 1985. Class act it is not. Modern hotels route HDMI or other digital formats which end up as HDMI to each room, so you get more pixels, more color information, and less noise. I think the bad internet and horrible TV feeds are inexcusable in a TECH CITY, but heck, what do I know... To a Brit with a dark sense of humor, this is something different: high comedy! Summary: The bottom line is that you really give up a lot if you require what Residence Inn's really get you on: the kitchen. Should you be able to easily eat outside, I really do recommend a different hotel type altogether. The cost difference can easily buy you a few meals at restaurants, anyway. I'm on a weird diet, so I tend to be trapped in this overpriced, low quality hell of extended stays. But if you're on a "normal" diet, save yourself! Stay at other hotel types! Seriously, you can often stay at a truly luxury property what these places tend to charge. Then pick up some good "to go" food at Whole Foods, PCC, and the like. Or you can stay at a cheaper property and spend the difference eating out, with servers, ambiance, and the whole lovely dining out shebang. UPDATE: I do remember how exceptionally nice the folks are here compared to most Marriotts. So I'll make you a deal: 2 more stars if you pay your people a living wage. This is the most expensive hotel we've stayed on while on this trip, and while it makes some sense -- Residence Inn is an extended-stay hotel and the rooms are suites -- for one night, $269 feels awfully steep. The hotel property is somewhat of an alien environment. It reminds me somewhat of the Village in the Prisoner -- only everything is so densely packed that the map of the property makes the scale of place look so much larger than it actually is. Otherwise, the suites are quite nice, and if you plan on staying for more than a night, it might be worth considering. There's a full kitchen featuring a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, small microwave, and four-burner stove and oven. In the kitchen cabinets, you'll find silverware, pots, pans, plates and other dishes. The main room reminds me of a studio apartment. The double bed is right off of a small living room with a couch, coffee table, and television, and there's a small work desk by the front door and window. High-speed Internet is free if you go for the basic -- speeds up to 384k. Faster connections cost, starting at $5.95/day. Off the sleeping space is a walk-in bathroom, which is quite spacious. The sink is set off from the bathtub/shower and toilet. And the room features one nice detail -- appropriate for the Pacific Northwest: There's a working fireplace complete with a Pine Mountain log you can burn for heat and ambience. Weird, but once you're in the room, not uncomfortable. Good for business travelers who plan to be in the area for awhile. read more

While the front desk night lady we met was very nice and our suite is spacious our stay at this hotel has not been pleasant for me or my husband. If you love extremely firm mattresses this is the hotel for you. If you are like me and have shoulder injuries and hip issues steer clear! Even my husband who doesn't have issues like I do wasn't able to sleep in their beds (we tried both beds in our suite). I haven't slept for basically 2 nights now and my husband hasn't faired much better. I know firm mattresses last hotels longer but you don't want to feel like you are literally sleeping on a rock. read more

I was sitting in bed when a bed bug landed on my pillow. I reported it and switched rooms. The next day I got an email from the manager saying they had a pest control service inspect the room and they found no evidence of bed bugs, implying that I was lying. I also found several bites on my legs. I'm terrified that I've brought bed bugs or eggs back with me and now I need to wash all my clothes in hot water and scrub my luggage. I will never, ever stay here again. Stay only if you don't care about bringing bed bugs home with you. Also, the internet was awful and I kept getting dropped from my Skype conference calls. The whole complex is weirdly arranged with a maze of decks and staircases and every door opens to the outside. And I came back to find my door unlocked and ajar because the hotel maid hadn't bothered to close it properly, putting all my stuff (including an expensive laptop) at risk of being stolen. read more

My company's office is in this area of Bellevue so hotel options are limited. After a couple previous stays at the Silver Cloud, I decided to give the Residence Inn a shot (to get Marriott points). It's one of the older looking Residence Inns I've stayed at, but built sturdy and the rooms are clean and cozy. The area is a little spread out and not lit extremely well so coming home when it's dark and having to weave around the back walkways to find your unit can be a little unnerving. But the area feels very safe, the beds are comfortable enough for what you're paying, and everything felt well maintained. I only stayed for 2 nights, so I didn't really have time to test out the kitchen area or other extended stay type of services, but I will have no problem staying here again the next time I'm in the area. read more

I usually stay in Residence inns but this was different than I expected.. Maybe because it was an older one. There were several things I wasn't aware of when I booked this: - No elevator and hard to find room hauling around luggage.. I wasn't supposed to lift heavy items for medical reasons so I wouldn't have booked this if I had known. However the front desk was accommodating and put me in a room that didn't have stairs needed to access - I travel by myself for business and don't like to stay in rooms with the entrance from the outside.. May not be an issue for many people but it wasn't what I had expected when I booked this I was disappointed in the room for several reasons : - dead bolt was broken -room seemed kind of dark and dreary. I usually expect a bright and inviting room when I usually stay at residence inns.. maybe because I have mostly stayed in the newer ones - Comforter was very thin and not warm enough. Bed was squeaky and soft - small and weak hair dryer. May sound dumb but I don't pack my hair dryer when I travel as the Marriott chains usually provide a more standard size hair dryer than what was provided here. On the plus side, the front desk staff was very polite. I didn't have a chance to use the kitchen in the room but the appliances were nice and modern. Wasn't a bad hotel, but just not what I expected for a Residence Inn. read more

Recently came to Bellevue/Redmond for a business trip and ended up staying here based off some recommendations from some friends who have stayed here on their business trip. The hotel and room are very clean and the rooms are designed here for people here on an extended stay for business giving guests a comfortable experience while away from home. There is a comfortable living area complete with a couch and sofa, sizable coffee table, and desk for any work you bring back with you to the hotel. Did I mention the kitchen in room complete with the latest stainless steel appliances? Provided is a oven with stove top combo, dish washer, refrigerator, and microwave that are all stainless steel sitting on top of corian (possibly granite?) counter tops. They have free complementary Internet access which isn't bad but a little slow. If you want a faster connection to the Internet, you can pay per day for faster, but I just opted for the free stuff. The hotel provides complementary breakfast which includes: scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, fresh fruits, bagels, muffins, etc and depending on the day they do have someone making omelets. At night they have a "social hour" where they provide some complementary food and wine... its kinda interesting. I guess to try to provide some activity to break up the mundane routine and get people to interact. There are a few people that take part in it each night and is a welcome change. Overall the food was pretty good and they offered a good selection so you don't feel like you are eating the same thing each day. On reason why I picked this hotel is they also provide complementary shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel. I took it each day going to and from the work related stuff on my business trip. They are usually within 10-15 of the pickup time, but they probably would have been on time if not for other people being late to the shuttle. It was very convenient to take the shuttle and didn't have to worry about driving in an unfamiliar place on my trip. I booked the hotel via my approved work site and ended up costing in the mid 100s. I guess it depends on if you are looking for a deal. I have found other online places that offer a similar price. Would I stay here again? Most definitely. The free shuttle service, complementary breakfast and social hour, and the quality of the room is definitely worth. In fact, with all these services it ended up being a very inexpensive business trip compared to my past trips in the area. read more

Hmm...Yelp has four duplicate records of this hotel...you'd think they would have figured out how to run deduping software by address by now...anyway I guess I'll review this one. This is an extended-stay hotel, which means you get amenities like a stove, fridge, dishes, etc. Some of the rooms are very spacious, and even the basic ones are larger than your average Residence Inn. The rooms are set in separate buildings--about four rooms per building. One annoyance is you may have to lug your luggage up a 2nd floor stairway if you get assigned such a room. I recommend asking for a bottom floor room, although the top floor rooms have vaulted ceilings and some have a 2nd level. I stay here frequently when I visit the Bellevue-Redmond area. It's not a cookie-cutter Courtyard kind of place, the size of the rooms really makes a difference. read more

Nice digs for business and leisure travel. Kitchen with a separate bedroom are the big sell for us and the toddler. Breakfast spread is good with ample choices. Monday nite nachos and beer from 6 to 7pm is perfect for football! Highly recommend if you're staying in the area. read more

Update-After checking into the room, the staff was very friendly and the service was what we have come to expect from Marriott. The room was beautiful and very spacious. Walking through the property from our room to the front desk was nice. The walk ways have several wooden patios and it felt a little like walking through a quaint little village. We did notice several bags of what looked liked dirty bedding and rolling trash cans sitting outside several rooms as we walked around the grounds, that were still there the next day. It was a bit weird, like the cleaning staff just walked away mid job. It was a busy holiday weekend, so maybe that had something to do with it. It was by far not our best stay in a Marriott but in the end it wasn't horrible either. We would definitely stay again. We arrived at 3:15pm to check in. We were told that check in is 4:00pm and no rooms will be available before that. The cleaning crew will be finished cleaning all 100+ rooms precisely at 4:00pm. Apparently not one room will be available before then. The manager was rude, rolled her eyes at us as we sat in the lounge area with two other customers waiting for our rooms. I understand we tried to check in 45 minutes early, and the room isn't available. But rude service was not necessary. We have someplace to be in downtown Seattle at 5:00 pm. Hence the reason for the hotel stay. (This was the closest available hotel with availability when we made the reservations) We will now be rushing to get where we need to go, as happens in life. But rudeness from the on duty manager has not helped. We stay almost exclusively in Marriott hotels, elite silver member status, so we have some experience with these hotels. We have never had rude service or a bad stay. First time for everything I suppose. read more

This was a very clean hotel with nice staff. I like the location - close to Bellevue but also a bit removed, with nice trees around. The rooms were nicely decorated. It was comfortable. There is free internet and there were lots of amenities in the room. The pool and whirlpool were very clean and well maintained. The pool is small but nice for relaxing. There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor, you have to take the stairs and if you have a lot of bags that might be an issue. However we were given the choice of a first or second floor room. I would stay here again for sure. read more

Stayed here for four nights while on business with Costco. They could not have been more accommodating. Sarah at the front desk was especially wonderful. The manager, the housekeepers, the ladies who keep the restaurant tidy were all very nice. The pool was spotless, the rooms were very nice, and we had a terrific stay away from home. If you're looking for an extended stay in Bellevue or surrounding area's this is definitely your place! It's clean, quiet, close to many things and offer shuttle service to and from places you might wish to go (within 5 miles I do believe) plus they have a laundry area and a good number of restaurants deliver or are even in walking distance if you feel like a bit of a trek. Plus a light dinner (with soda, beer & wine!) five days a week. And breakfast seven days a week (biscuits & gravy were our favorite!) My family and I stayed here for an extended amount of time while looking for a home. To make it short, we actually thought we would have checked out sooner than when we did but the staff made our longer stay seem quite short. The management is top shelf, helpful, friendly and Marriott is truly lucky to have them taking care of a property with their name on it. The desk staff is awesome, whether you need a extra towels, suggestions for dinner or just want to sit in the lobby with a cup of tea you're treated like family. During our stay we saw many business people and families at the hotel, grumpy faces were often turned into smiles after talking to the staff who were helpful to try to perk someone's day up the best they could. I really cannot say enough about them, even the cleaning staff is incredibly nice and willing to come back later if you need more time in your room before it's cleaned (few hotels are willing to do that now a days, it's get in and get out, sorry but we're not coming back) the maintenance staff as well is obliging if something needs fixed, need a light bulb changed, they're there in less than a half hour for you. Even late in the evening someone is usually able to help out! Now, they have internet, the TV's are HUGE, it's fairly modernized but it's not slick black marble and futuristic furnishings. It's comfort! There's a lounger with an ottoman, comfortable beds and they truly do try to keep the rooms as nice as they can! I would love to see them go high tech and modern in each room and I hope the higher ups at Marriott recognize the service and the great treatment guests receive at this Residence inn and get them remodeled down the road (but if they don't the furnishings are still really nice and not worn or dingy in any way!) if they can. Also, the holiday's are just awesome there, they decorate perfectly & really make you feel like you're not in a hotel! And kids are treated like paying customers not annoyances who are spoken down to. They're great with children asking questions or needing something! Perhaps I'm biased since we had an extended stay, but honestly my family and I cannot say enough about the property! We would definitely stay here again if a hotel in Bellevue was needed, even just for the night. High marks Jim, Jennifer, Matt, Ian ,John and Taylor! If they're working when you check in I can say you're going to have high end treatment and a great stay! Stayed here for 80 nights on an internship, so I think I probably saw every extreme there was. I'd still stay there again another 80 nights in a heartbeat. I cannot recommend the staff more highly, I'm a huge fan of everyone working there. Beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was varied and tasty, and assistance was never more than a phone call away. read more
