I stayed here two nights for a work event. I was treated like royalty the minute I checked in. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the bath products are quality. My husband and I stayed here for one night during the state track and field championships. We loved it. Very very clean. The room had a small refrigerator which was great to store our food for the meet and a big flat screen tv and most importantly a large window that opened up for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and we had millions of pillows. The carpet was very clean. Loved the shower. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Every one I spoke with was very nice, smiling and helpful. That's management. I appreciate well trained employees. There is a cute little area to eat with really good food. Full breakfast and lunch. That was nice. Close to just about everything except a market. I thought that was interesting. This is definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Eugene. Close to University of Oregon but not too close. read more

Stayed here two nights for a business trip and was pretty happy with my stay. My business was in Corvallis, so I was VERY happy when I found a flight to Eugene instead of Portland; the commute was a whole lot better, and no traffic whatsoever (I-5 was clear all the way up, and back). Got the usual courteous checkin, clean room, and good food at the bistro. Still have to remove a star because of how the TV is setup in a strange way to the room (swivel to watch either from bed or sofa). What I liked best is the location. It's very close to a couple of gas stations, so there was no problem searching for a place to refuel the rental car before I returned it. Additionally, there are several dining choices within quick walking distance (Outback, Jack In The Box, Hopyard Valley Pub, Shari's Cafe). The weather happened to be pretty bad when I went, so it was nice to be able to enter the side door closer to my room, and not have to worry about driving the car out to eat despite the rain and cold, since the walk was so short. I'd certainly stay here again. Of note: You can get a small discount booking here with the AAA rate. They did not ask me for my card when I checked in, even though the site said they would. read more

We had a great stay at Courtyard on thanksgiving weekend. The place is clean and spacious. We checked in on thanksgiving night and the place was empty. We had the pool/hot tub area all to ourselves. Towels are provided. Breakfast is made fresh for you when you order and they were good. I included breakfast when I booked through Expedia. I couldn't give 5 stars because of the bathroom tub in our room. It needs some maintenance because it's not draining well. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay there and would recommend it. read more

Ok, the Springfield Courtyard is generally a nice hotel. What keeps it from being very good is its size...it's just small. And that means everything, from the lobby area which is open to the Bistro/bar, making for a very loud space as people gather at the end of the work day, to the rooms themselves. The rooms are quite cramped, especially for a king-suite. They are, however, very clean & quiet. One of my pet-peeves when traveling is the constant slamming of doors that occurs throughout hotels these days. Thankfully, that's not a problem here. Combine this fact with a very comfy bed & crisp linens made for good nights sleep. I do need a little more elbow room, so I would definitely explore other options. But if this was the only option available, one could definitely do worse. Overall, good, but nothing exceptional to the place. read more

This place was an absolutely dump. Despite some upgrades in the main lobby the rooms are atrocious. I was "upgraded" to a room with a jacuzzi tub. What they don't tell you is the ginormous jacuzzi sits right next to the bed. There was so much mold in the shower we opted out of showering and all night when someone ran water from another room it sounded like a generator was turned on loudly at the ceiling. Would never stay here again even if you paid me. read more

Wow I see all these great reviews and I wish I could have had the same experience, I feel we were given a shitty dirty room because we used our Marriott points. We got nothing but cocky attitude from the front desk guy and when we got into our room I noticed the carpets were extremely stained and dirty, some spots were even wet. My 10 month old son was crawling on the carpets for no less then 15 mins and seen that his knees and the top of his feet were black from all the dirt on the floor, on top of that he had found chocolate on the carpet and put it in his mouth. So now not only are there stains, wet, but the floor didn't seem to get vacuumed. They are not pet friendly at all, we almost had to leave my husbands service dog in our vehicle over night. He is an Iraq war veteran with PTSD and our dog helps him stay calm. It wasn't till my husband actually started to have a severe anxiety attack that he decided to let the front desk know that he would be bringing our dog in, he showed them his disabled veterans card and told them he needs his dog. They said nothing more and let him bring our dog in. Overall my experience was horrible read more

I had to stay here unexpectedly after all flights were canceled to SFO the day of the big plane crash. I got a good price through Priceline and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is modern, and looks like it has been recently renovated. I did find a small piece of trash near the loveseat (maybe a candy wrapper?), but aside from that it seemed pretty clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The lobby was just incredible. It has a small cafe/bar (depending on the time of day or night), and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. They also have a free shuttle to the airport. For the price, this place was great. There was also a brewery across the street where I went for a late night drink and ended up meeting some cool people and had some good conversation. read more

Great place for an abundance of food options only walking distance away. Going to a Ducks football game, all good, shuttle bus stop is at Symantec, about 1 mile away. 3.50 per person to the front of the stadium. Hotel is set in the perfect location with clean rooms and nice staff. read more

here's the part about this place that i liked-- the staff was attentive and friendly. they had an effecient work area with printing, and we needed that for some reason when we rolled through for one night. the rooms were perfectly fine. the pool and hot tub area were indoors and clean. it's right across the street from a good brewery/pub called hop valley. their food and beer was just dandy. here's the bad-- i remember courtyard's not doing breakfast for free, but i asked the guy at check in and he told me the breakfast was free. i asked him again to make sure. of course, the next day, it wasn't free. but, like other people wrote, there are PLENTY of options nearby, within walking distance, to find a nice breakfast. nice place. must have had some communication difficulty with the breakfast thing, but it was 15 bucks cheaper than other places, so i guess that was factored in. read more

expired "naked" juice, almost 30 days expired ! had to walk all the way back to front desk, get dressed again, and wi-fi does not work . bummer. No noise from outside, but HEAVY SLAMMING DOOR NOISE FROM 5 TO 10 P.M. YOU CAN HEAR PEOPLE TALKING IN HALLWAY & YOUR NIEGHBOR. My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. I'm not sure if it's this particular hotel or the brand as a whole but there were some problems. Biggest complaint is that we kept a Do Not Disturb sign on our door the whole time, on the 4th day there was a light knock at the door. At first we assumed it was someone knocking next door, the knock came again barely audible. I told my husband to go check just in case it was our door. Sure enough, it was a maintainance guy who my husband and seen earlier downstairs while he was getting breakfast. The man didn't introduce himself other than to say, "Oh I thought you were gone, I'm here to check out your air conditioner." There was NOTHING wrong with the air conditioner nor did we call for maintainence. Word to the wise, don't leave any valuables in your room unless you want snoops coming in after they think you're gone, they don't pay attention to the do not disturb signs. Had my husband not answered he would have come into the room and I happened to be undressed at the time. My husband did speak with the person at the front desk about this. Another problem is given the price of these rooms I'd expect a bottle of shampoo to be full and not 1/2 full. They also obviously reuse bottles as none had seals. I barely had enough to wash my hair, my husband used bar soap. The conditioner bottle was full but watered down and it took me 20 minutes to get the tangles out of my hair. Yes it's those little things when you're paying almost $200 a night that matter. It'd also been nice to not have to stand in a tub with a slow drain while showering, I couldn't wait to get out. Room had a couch/pull out bed but no place to put your feet up unless you really want to put them up on the 2 level coffee table and put a lot of pressure on your tail bone. My legs were swollen from a long drive so I put them up and ended up with a back & neck ache. The end tables were so small I couldn't have a cup of water next to the phone without almost spilling it when I used the phone. The bathroom sink is area is tiny as well, enough room for 1/2 filled bottles of shampoo, a bar of soap but no place to put anything like hairbrush, make up, etc. I was never able to unpack my essentials, no place to put them. Maybe it's the way the room is set up but it's a tiny room compared to other hotel rooms. The decor is nice and updated, room fairly quiet, the bed is clean and comfortable. Hotel has free internet and paid internet. We opted for free and had no problems with the speed. If you want a microwave, get a suite as guest rooms only have a refrigerator. We bought pizza expecting to be able to heat it up and were disappointed as usually rooms we stay at have microwave and refrigerators so didn't expect this would be an issue, our fault for not reading the room details. Hotel is walking distance to Outback Steakhouse, local brewery & other places to eat. Speaking of food. They have a Bistro and you can order up to your room or to go. My husband ordered french toast to go, it was sent in a cardboard box, not enough syrup to wet 1 of the 3 pieces of soggy french toast. Had to go back downstairs, get a plate and more syrup. If you're getting food to go and bringing it to your room, ask for a plate or be prepared for another trip and cold food (cause there's no microwave). Again, it's those little things that will insure we don't stay here again. read more

I really loved this hotel. I usually stay in a big downtown Eugene hotel, but my office booked me here on this trip and I am so glad they did. The staff was the best part of the hotel. They were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and I really loved the store in the lobby where you can buy a beer and some snacks at the end of the day. Great TVs too! Location is really convenient and quiet. read more
