You order and then you get a number and sit. I got the bowl with falafel and baba ghanoush. It comes with a side of pita bread. I love how much texture and flavor there is to this bowl. My favorite thing to get here is the pita chips. Ask for the fresh ones and not the prepackaged one. Highly recommend getting it

But the "Catch Feelings" Chicken Wrap at Kareem's? It genuinely needs a emotional warning label. I ordered it thinking I was just grabbing a quick bite on the go. Big mistake. Huge. Now I'm driving down Brookhurst having a full-blown existential crisis because a wrap has better structural integrity and emotional depth than most people I've dated. First off, whoever is back there assembling these wraps isn't just making food; they are practicing architectural geometry. Most spots toss your veggies in like they're launching confetti at a parade, leaving you with one bite of pure lettuce and another of pure existential dread. Not Kareem's. Every single bite is a masterclass in balance: vibrant, bright, colorful veggies that actually crunch, perfectly seasoned and juicy protein, and a sauce so ridiculously good I'm convinced it's strictly classified under international law. It's colorful, it's mouth-watering, and yes, I absolutely caught feelings. I am now in a committed relationship with a pita-wrapped masterpiece. And can we talk about the hummus? Smooth as a smooth-talking salesperson, richer than a crypto influencer, and paired with proteins that are cooked with actual respect. If you are anywhere near 1208 S Brookhurst St, do yourself a favor and stop by. Just be prepared: you will leave addicted, you will crave it at 2 AM on a Tuesday, and you will never look at a standard wrap the same way again. 10/10, no notes, sending Kareem's my therapist bills.

Upon entering, you see the minimalistic menus of sandwiches and drinks. (There are also small paper menus available but the aesthetic is a treat!) it's a small spot, but it exudes personality and a homey vibe. It's like a pub setting you see in Shaun of the Dead but much more comfortable and low key. The servers were very friendly and attentive to our table. I tried the French Dip and the BLT. Both were delicious and packed with meat. One thing about Windsor Brown's is they DO NOT skimp on the meats! Huge points! I executed a beautiful cheese pull upon my first bite, but could not capture it on picture because I ate too fast! So you'll just have to take my word for it. My family also enjoyed their sandwiches. They tried the Devil Made Me Do It and another sandwich with ghost peppers. We all left with our bellies full and our spirits high! 5/5 WILL return next time I'm in town.

What made the stop even better was the service behind the bar. The employee taking our order and serving the sandwich was genuinely pleasant, attentive, and accommodating, offering great recommendations that made choosing easy and the experience even smoother. The sourdough was exactly how it should be: fresh, crisp, lightly toasted and sturdy enough to hold everything together. Inside, Calabrian deviled egg salad met a perfectly jammy egg, spicy mayo and peppers for a creamy, tangy kick with just the right amount of heat. Messy? A little. Worth it? Absolutely. This was a lip-smacking, reach-for-another-bite kind of sandwich. We didn't have time to dive into the beer selection, but there were plenty of tempting options. With its business-district location, this would be an easy stop after work for a cold brew and a seriously good sandwich. Quick stop. Great service. Killer sandwich. The Devil Made Me do it.

Now I will be craving the delicious Aleppo hot sauce knowing I have to brave a nightmare parking lot. It's a teeny tiny parking lot with odd angles and bottlenecks with a surprising amount of restaurants sharing it. Makes zero sense. After circling three times I dropped my wife off and parked across the street risking getting towed. There's a ton of construction so hopefully more parking is on the way. That said, food is outstanding. Service was also perfection. Cuisine here is from Syria so there a lot of interesting dishes I haven't seen before. We started with deep fried spring rolls stuffed with akkawi cheese imported from Syria. Expensive but order it. I ordered the "khashkhash" kabob plate which was 4 grilled kefta kabobs served on a surprisingly spicy sauce of tomatoes and Aleppo peppers. It was served with a mound of buttery rice sprinkled with Aleppo peppers and a cabbage salad. Honestly the best kabops I've ever had. Absolutely loved the flavors. I devoured the whole plate while eyeing the parking lot across the street for tow trucks. Portion could easily be shared. My wife went with the Gyro flatbread. I scoffed saying "this isn't a Greek restaurant" but the joke was on me because I was envious. House made flat bread topped with gyro, tzatziki, pickled onions, tomatoes, feta, sumac, and Aleppo peppers. I took a few bites and retracted my previous scoff. They had a large list of mocktails. I had the Vimto Mojito and my wife had the margarita. Both creative and flavorful. Lastly I tried the "Ashta" for dessert. It's an Aleppo signature per the menu and is a pudding like dessert of clotted cream, pistachio, strawberries, and honey. It's simple yet satisfying. Took me a few bites to acquire the flavor but I loved it more with each bite. My wife didn't care for it. They moved by Angel Stadium from their Brookhurst spot. Great place except the parking. Reservations are odd too. $25 penalty PER PERSON if you miss your reservation. It was definitely motivation to find parking.
