It's sad when there's more chicken on one slice of pizza then a whole chicken sub (when the sub is three times the price) I put the whole sub onto the one half it was cut into. I had half of just a sub roll with nothing on it on my plate and the waitress handed me aluminum foil to wrap it up. I said no thank you there barely anything on the sub so I just put it on all into one half. Instead of apologizing or even attempting to fix anything she just stood there laughed and walked away. Bad stuff. Flies on the not so great reheated food. Terrible rude service. They refused to give us tap water. They said they only sold water. It's not free. One of us took three plastic cups for the water that they had to purchase. The waitress rushed over to say no plastic cups. Those are "special" for other drinks. She started to take it away. Then she changed her mind. Said she couldn't take it back as we had touched it. When one of us asked for utensils. Four of us had pizza. Two had eggplant parmigiana. She asked how many of us were eating before she gave us the cheap plastic. When it was time to pay there was an extra $0.75 on the tab. When asked she said it was for ranch dressing. None of us had ranch dressing. She apparently mistook the Parmesan cheese for dressing. The bill also included $1.75 for the 3 plastic cups. I said they only cost about five cents each and offered her 15 cents. She wouldn't budge. We asked for the owner and was told he'd be back Thursday What a nightmare. Was it because we had 3 children with us. Or because five of us were Asian We will never know. We left with a bad taste in our mouths. From the food. And the sourpuss way we were treated. read more

My friends and I were looking for a local pizza place to have a quick dinner before 1.5 hour ride back to NYC. We came across Cousin's Pizza and dropped in. It has 3-4 booths for 4 people and 2 tables so I can't imagine having more 20 people in the restaurant with ample space for everyone. We ordered garlic bread with cheese, tomato basil soup, French onion soup, onion rings, chicken Parmesan, a slice of white pizza, and two bottles of Pepsi and root beer. I started getting excited because garlic bread with cheese was amazing as well as the soups. The portions are big as well. The server attended us frequently and I loved the entire experience. The reason why I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because of chicken Parmesan - I considered it to be too basic. I wish there was an option for 4.5 stars! read more

Stopped in yesterday after driving by then circling around to go back. Tried the bianco pizza with pepperoni. We will definitly go back. Even today's left over slices were good reheated. Crust thin and crispy, plenty of cheese and a nice garlicy olive oil underlay. Very friendly staff! read more

We have been going to Cousin's Pizza and bakery for several years, mostly for breakfast. We've always like the place for the very friendly service. Something has changed about the place. During our last few visits we weren't treated as friendly as before and the breakfast experience wasn't very good either. Today was definitely the worst. The breakfast wasn't done to our request, it simply sucked. That has happened before too. But the previous friendly treat at least helped to forget that. It seems like since Lori left, things are not the same! The stuff was very cold, impersonal , no care at all. We're very disappointed and won't be going back. We were just passing by and wanted a few slices to go. My husband got two eggplant slices with pepppers and onions. That was good. He chose for me two plain slices with "chicken". It was all different types of chicken and it all smelled weird. Some of the "chicken" i couldn't even chew. It was disgusting. For 4 slices he was charged $15 which is crazy. This place is so cheap with their toppings, it's almost laughable. I've ordered many times from them and once got a salad pizza with small pieces of disgusting lettuce, a few olives, cooked with cheese. As for my Husbands favorite pizza - BBQ chicken - well their bbq pizza has such small pieces of chicken on it, you can barely tell it's chicken. The bread tastes like it's frozen and thawed out. I also met someone that used to work there as a cook recently and she said that their food is kept at unsafe temperatures, and that food is sometimes cooked / fried, and then unfrozen for quick access later on. It makes sense because their food tastes kinda reheated sometimes. Save yourself food poisoning and put your money to good use and go to COUSINS CAFE. They are the ONLY good pizza place in Wingdale / DP. read more

I had the chicken wings a couple of years ago and they were delicious, but the wings themselves were incredibly tiny. So recently I decided to try the JUMBO chicken wings and they were indeed much bigger. However, it was plain to see that they had premade these things who knows how long before and just warmed them up. What little sauce was there was only on the bottom, it had long dripped off the wings themselves. It had been stored so long the sauce had separated into half-sauce and half-grease. If they had bothered to open the container and look they would have seen that these wings were unfit to serve. Dry wings and nearly no (disgusting separated) sauce. When a restaurant has so little respect to serve something like this for nearly $10 I take it almost as a personal insult. I won't be back. read more

Definitely a better place than the Wingdale Deli Express. And not over-priced. Their pizza is great, their onion rings are not over-fried or greasy and the people there are a lot friendlier than at the Deli Express. I highly recommend this place if you don't want to spend a lot of money and you still want really good food. read more
