If you're a dope like me and don't know what lumpia is - well - it's a delicious Filipino creation that reminded me of a spring roll. They're crisp rolled sticks filled with yummy fillings - some pretty creative ones from this truck for sure. The menu is changing obviously but they make meat, veggie and dessert lumpia. An order of 6 (cut in half so 12pcs) was $10. I got a mix - 1/2 were seasoned beef which was honestly pretty boring and the El Carne version which adds veggies and some heat. That one was delicious! Sadly, I missed out on siracha pork. The lumpia were served hot, crispy and with a nicely flavored aioli for dipping. Despite the crowds, the staff was on point. Everyone was nice, my food came up quickly and it was quite tasty. Definitely worth a stop if you see them around town, or stop at Sugar Maple on Wednesdays where they'll be hanging this summer.

I was still craving an Italian sub sandwich after the last cousins location had no meat to make one…read moreso I stopped here. The place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. This location did acknowledge me when I walked in unlike the last location. I always get the Italian sub because it's the only sandwich I like but something was different was on the menu that I don't remember seeing but I never look at the menu because I always get the same thing. Sub in a bowl is new to me so I'm game for trying one with no bread and why no bread I will google later. My Italian sub in a bowl comes with salad dressing and red vinegar was my choice but ranch and something else was an option. My Italian sub in a bowl was the meat and cheese chopped up on top of some fresh leafy greens with the standard cousins toppings. I was surprised at the good leafy greens because they could have used crap iceberg lettuce. I must say that I did like my sub in a bowl. After cousin's got me researching why bowls and no bread options are getting so popular and not eating bread because of low carb I think I might try it for a while and see if the benefits are real. I do like that this an option on the menu after researching the no bread thing.
