Firehouse is quickly becoming our regular sandwich shop because our daughter loves them so much. Slightly higher prices than some competitors but the quality is generally spot on and they support the fire department. The staff is what makes this location so great. The kids that they've got employed are legitimately some of the greatest workers that I've experienced at a restaurant. They work so hard and they are really nice. I'm beyond impressed with them. I look forward to the day that covid is behind us and the hot sauces are back on display. Keep being awesome Grafton Firehouse crew. You guys are the best! read more

Tasty, fast hot subs here! I just got the cajun chicken (I think its a seasonal special) and I highly recommend it. A little bit spicy and the enough sauce to keep it from being dry. I also really dig the engineer sub (mushroom, swiss, turkey). The only thing I don't like here is the ham - for some reason it tastes way too sweet to me, almost candied or something. If you are into spicy sauces, they have a HUGE selection to add to any sub, with little cups so you can try them all. This was my first time at a Firehouse Subs so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a cheerful employee who asked if it was our first time, she explained the whole menu for us including what their best sellers nationwide and here in Wisconsin are. Me and my girlfriend both enjoyed our subs, that are kinda unique in the fact that they are served warm. A refreshing change from your average cold sub at a Cousins/Subway,Ect. The firehouse decor is cool and the Coke freestyle machine is always nice. I really enjoyed the FHS Cherry Limeade which is an option on the freestyle. Overall a cool dining experience and will be my go to when I want a warm sub. The friendly staff combined with the delicious food sold me. read more

This was my first time in a Firehouse Subs and it was a great experience. The woman at the register was very patient with my partner and I explaining the different subs. The staff gave us recommendations on which subs and add ons to go with. Both of our subs had ample meat and veggies, and the mac and cheese was pretty good for a sub place. That atmosphere is what really made the place. Everyone was super nice and friendly. read more

Ordered the New York Steamer today. When I got home I saw that I got a piece of bread with some sauce and a very light portion of pastrami. Absolutely no corned beef. Your location is just far enough away that I wasn't willing to go back and complain. I will just simply never go back. read more

Delicious subs and free drink refills. Just had an excellent custom vegetable sub there today that was well made with high quality ingredients and found out they even have free drink refills when I tried to buy a refill. There are also lemon slices in small plastic cups in the drinks area for anyone who wants a slice of lemon with their drinks. Those who like atmosphere may also like the firehouse theme. read more

Slow. Order often wrong. Uses same dirty knife to cut every sandwich regardless of what is on the previous. My sandwich had a bunch of BBQ sauce on it from the previous cut. When I mentioned that I didn't want BBQ sauce on my sandwich, I was told that's how we do it. read more

Waited 40 minutes for two subs. First time customer here and it was a poor experience to say the least. Seemed short staffed and the staff did not look thrilled. I've never seen so many unhappy customers at a sandwich shop waiting unhappily wondering if their order was even in que after waiting so long. Talked to several customers and they were not happy, some even walked out after asking for their money back. read more

The Hook and Ladder sub is very good and fresh sandwich one of the best subs I've had in a while.

Very good quality meats. The meatballs are of an ideal size and the sauce is well seasoned. Probably the best part, though, is the staff. Many of the fast food workers I encounter at other restaurants seem resentful that you have bothered them by placing an order. This Firehouse location are the exact opposite. I've had firehouse subs before at other locations and they were fantastic. This location is skimpy on the meat. I tried this location when it first opened and thought OK they just opened maybe they don't have it together yet. But then I tried it like a month later and same thing. Skimpy on the meat. Best subs around and AMAZING customer service! It was my first time visiting Fire House Subs and I received the warmest greeting from the manager!! He was the nicest man and genuinely wanted me to enjoy my experience after learning I had never ordered from his establishment before. He gave me the best recommendations and his staff was so polite, not to mention, EXCELLENT Cooks! Super clean establishment and engaging conversation with the manager while I waited for my family's food. I honestly haven't had an overall great experience like this in a while! Gast service always good food is made fresh. It is a bit of a drive to go there but so worth it to me.

I've frequented Firehouse Subs at this location since it opened, and have always been very pleased with the service and sandwiches. The flavor is very good, and I never leave hungry. I like the fast service, and I like the fact that the sandwiches are made to order and always hot (if you get a hot sub). I also like the added touch of the hot sauces available to try, although, at my last visit, almost all of the bottles were empty. The hot sauces add a nice kick to the sandwiches. Overall, a nice, quiet restaurant with reasonable prices, and great food and service. read more

Very poor customer service, told them that the diet soda was out completely and they said we will get someone to change it and no one ever changed it. I had ask again about the soda being out and I ask for the manager and the suppose manager "doesn't look to be the manager" said we are short staff. I said "very poor service" then he walked from behind the counter to change it. I said it doesn't take a rocket science to change it. Definitely not recommending to anyone to stop. read more

Final update. I don't know why I always feel like an inconvenience in there... I don't know why every order I've placed online I've asked for no side pickle by writing it in, and checking "remove pickle". Every single time I get a pickle wrapped up in plastic stuck next to my sub. Always always. That pickle is gross and always gets that area of the sub wet. Also, you have to lie about pick up time because it's done 10 minutes or more before you get there. That of course makes a soggy sub. They need to do something else with the people waiting, they all just sort of stand there and get yelled at by the cooks. Tom! Brenda! Orders ready! ... I get it gets busy, but it's just a mess. The fact they ignore the "online register" line is super frustrating. Long, slow line at the other "normal" register. I trot up to the pick up one and stand there like a fool for quite some time, every time. Then I wonder am I supposed to be in this line? lol. Why have a register there if no one ever mans it!? I also don't like having to pay through the app instead of in store. For being the most expensive sub shop around, I guess I expected more. It used to be bad, then it was good, now it's sorta bad again. Seems like new employees every time I go too... Meh, I can't recommend it in its current state and probably won't go back too many more times to change my mind. They need less cooks and more register/lobby people. And read the dang comment that literally prints out on the receipt ONE time. Cmon. I even started putting it in caps. NO SIDE PICKLE PLEASE. Still get pickle. Wet, stinky pickle in plastic wrap, squished next to my sub and wrapped up. What a terrible idea that is. I like pickles btw. Not these long slimy skinny yellow ones. You can just tell they come in 5 gallon bucket and each one has been handled so many times. It must of been because it's hand wrapped in plastic. lol. It's just gross IMHO. The bread quality seems to fluctuate quite a lot too. And they still over sauce it, even after asking for very easy sauce. Again, if the sub was half to 30% less in cost, this would be less of a concern. If the app didn't have an area for special requests, I'd not complain. If the pickles weren't terrible and tossed in as an after thought it wouldn't matter. But this is the most expensive, frankly slowest sandwich stop in that area of Grafton. That's just not good enough. Update: As of May 1st 2017, ordering through the iPhone Ap works! I was in and out in less than 4 minutes. Yay! Order was correct and hot. The prices might be a bit high, but that's offset by their reward program. Every 5.3 subs I buy, get one free. I'll be back! If it is going to take longer than Noodles to make a sub, get your act together and make online ordering work. Allow the app to function properly. Or allow your own website to take orders. How does a company open for more than a few weeks and not have an ordering system down yet? Lame. Subs were good, but ask for easy sauce of any kind cause they drown it. Know that the "combo" size soda is about two liters... I'm an American so I get it... but really, half that size is more than enough. Do get the large sub though, an extra 2$ for way more sub is money well spent. For now though, expect quite a hassle getting your order in, once you do, expect a pretty long wait. We've been to Firehouse a couple times now and while it does take a little longer sometimes we believe they are definitely worth the wait! The subs are delicious with great combination options and if you don't like what you see, you can build your own. I also like the size selections and variety of soda, I'm all for supporting our first responders by rounding up the order when paying. I'm a fan!! read more

I would just like to say that I loved the service and the quality of the Subs. They are friendly and greeted me right when I walked in by saying,"welcome to The Firehouse!" How many places can you go where you get such a friendly welcome. You really need to try them. My favorite is the turkey bacon ranch. read more
