The seating is subpar and service was slow the day we went but the way I did not care once my food came..... The music lit and the food was delicious. Felt more like a lounge that serve food than a restaurant. I will for sure be back. Please work on the service and seating.

The bread was incredible and the beet ricotta was so unique. I loved the salad which had an apple puree and blue cheese - flavors paired perfectly. The splin was excellent and the duck was good. We aren't huge duck fans but the duck leg and duck sausage were decent! Dessert had a great cherry flavor. Overall, super impressed by the food and top-notch service. Wine selection was excellent as well. Our only knock was that we were seated close to the door, so we had a few chilly moments! But worth it for this meal.

You will never need to eat another meal again in your life. This curated, five course, French…read morethemed dinner was romantic, elegant, and delectable. The only way to get a table is to book far in advance through Instagram. Also keep in mind everything I'm about to talk about below may never be on your menu as it's different every week. First course was a tartine featuring sardines, pickled fennel, and kalamata olives. A salty, but bright dish that finished with a subtle licorice spice. Second course was a lentil salad with cooked lentils, pickled celery, roasted fennel, lemon juice, goat cheese, and quick fried lentils on top to add a surprising crunch. My favorite of the courses. The acid from the lemon juice and the fat from the goat cheese was heaven on earth. Third course was a bouillabaisse of monk fish, pearl onions, and potatoes in a salty and savory, saffron tomato sauce topped with small dollops fresh aioli. Fourth course was an entire sole done so perfectly it melted in your mouth, covered in a lemon tarragon cream, and sprinkled with bread crumbs. Fifth course was a Paris-Brest filled with praline cream, spotted with sunflower seeds then dusted with powdered sugar. A very light and delicate end to a wonderful meal. This was more than just a dinner out on a Saturday night, it was an experience to be shared with your best friends or a romantic partner. My ONLY wish is for a wine pairing with each dish as an optional menu upgrade from the set price.

I stopped at An Ox Cafe late at night with my son while traveling through Milwaukee and heading…read moreback to the hotel. From the outside, the place looked lively and entertaining, largely because there was an active cornhole tournament happening. I can honestly say I've never seen that many self-proclaimed cornhole enthusiasts gathered in one place before, so it definitely had a unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food experience was inconsistent at best. The cucumber salad was completely inedible. The sausage entrée had multiple hard bits throughout that felt like biting into popcorn kernels, which made it difficult to enjoy. The rice served on the side was noticeably dried out and tasted like it had been sitting for quite a while. To top things off, the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill. If you're heavily into cornhole tournaments and the social scene that comes with them, this may be your kind of place. If you're going primarily for the food, expectations should probably be adjusted accordingly.

These were not placed at tables but brought to the table so you'd figured they would keep it cleaned. Pho dressings (bean sprouts, basil) were old and appeared rewashed. We asked for a new plate and it looked worst. Bits and pieces of bean sprouts that were definitely not fresh. Apparently they ran out of basil so they gave us 3 old leaves. The food itself, actually had flavor. We ordered sweet pork, pho, and drunken noodles. However, they appeared to have used old chicken meat as I bite into a hard, dried piece of chicken. There is surcharge for using credit. They probably should state that somewhere. 1st and last time here.

The fluffy & slightly chewy and doughy texture gives me a weird satisfying feeling. However, I just feel the flavors are a bit off - it's like there's just a layer of sweet glaze on the outside. The blue/green glaze in the donuts in my order is also very runny and watery. And based on my experiences, the donuts must be finished like within a day (best to try immediately) - otherwise the glaze is off the donut. Will be happy to return and try more to support the vegan donut idea!

The sugar boxes are really easy to preorder through their website and pickup is pretty painless, even if its a busier one the line usually moves quickly. They have inventive and unique flavors. Some of my favorite have included the marzipan, the cinnamon roll, lavender, and the PB&J. The flavors change and often there are seasonally appropriate and adorable decorations as well. The dough of the donuts themselves have a great flavor. And they are quite hearty and filling too! We normally get the different flavors and cut them into equal pieces to share, because its the best way to try everything! I can't wait to see what else they come up with, and am so glad to see them popping up in so many different places! Try them them as soon as you can!

Food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic!…read more We were greeted immediately when we walked in. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, so the greeter gave us some menus and let us know we could order and he'd find a table for us ASAP. We got to the counter and the cashier told us it would be a 45 minute wait. We accepted this and ordered anyway. We picked a curry, a noodle dish, and a Thai beer each. The cashier was very friendly. The original greeter found us a table almost immediately after we paid and mentioned the beer is especially nice over ice, so we took his recommendation. Beers came quickly, but food did take at least a half hour, as the cashier mentioned. Table and dining room were clean and nicely decorated with warm lighting and relaxing music. Bathrooms were also clean. Food was very good and flavorful. The portions were decent. We were full, ate most of our dishes, and didn't take anything home. The original greeter came back and checked on us while we were eating. Service was fantastic throughout the experience. The food was pricey, but aligns with other Thai restaurant prices in the area. Dishes were around $20. The whole experience was worth it. We will be returning!

I ordered Thai tea and it had zero flavor and not the traditional color that I grew up on, very light in color so light on the tea. Papaya salad was more salty than the sweet there is typically the perfect balance of fish sauce and lime but just wasn't what I'm used to. The OG wings were great, great flavor, great cook. They use huge wings but cut them in half. The mango sticky rice had a perfect amount of coconut mixture but uses a different mango that is more tart than sweet. They were busy, people order to dine in and for carry out. The food took roughly 35-40 minutes, which was fine, not mad about fresh food. It is a really cute restaurant in a strip mall with a good amount of parking, but it can be hard to find parking when neighboring businesses are also busy. You order from the counter and sit down and they bring your food to you. I'm glad I tried it but likely will try other places next time. Cost was roughly $35.
