I called a few months ago to make an appointment for an updo and told the receptionist that my hair…read moreis fairly long and that my only requirement was that it be quick & easy to let down at the reception.  I was thinking a hair clip or barrette with few, if any, bobby pins.  She said that Tess is the only person who does updos there, and she's really, really good!  I sent my ideas to Tess as well in subsequent texts.  I arrived for my appointment with about 6 or 7 different clips and barrettes for her to choose from that I had purchased to match my gown.  She asked if I wanted the updo on top or in the back of my head.  I told her "on top".  (What's the point in an updo if you can't see it?) She never touched any of the clips I brought, and I could not see the updo AT ALL when I looked in a mirror.  She put it in the back of my head despite what I said. Since time was of the essence, I couldn't have her redo it. Additionally, she cut a couple pieces of hair that were sticking out. It took my husband a good 10 minutes to pull all the bobby pins out of my hair at the reception.  I wish I had counted them, but I'd guess there were between 20 and 30 of them. For the amount of money I was charged, I expected her to at least attempt what I had asked for.  Such a disappointment.  I'll never go there again. LISTEN TO YOUR CLIENTS!

I only have to make a trip here every couple of months when I'm in need of a hair cut from the cut master herself, Terri! Now this chic knows how to cut and I will drive up and down 77 for the perfect cut and trust that Terri delivers every single time. In January, they were running a promotion for the spa - spend $50 in Jan redeem for $100 in March. So at checkout I asked about it and said, "let's do it." I asked to go ahead & book the service. I paid the $50 and booked a facial for March. Never had a facial there. Don't know the people. Just wanted to use my promotional balance. Well, conveniently I was booked with someone who did not qualify for the promotional balance. Didn't find out until it was time to pay in March after the service was performed. So I paid $250 for a 30 minute service that should've cost me $150. On a previous trip, I spent THIRTY ONE MINUTES booking a next appointment for a highlight. Not 31 minutes waiting, 31 minutes booking. It literally took her that long to find a time that worked with my stylist 3 months out. I understand mistakes happen but being ignored by the Salon Owner/manager when I reached back out for it to be fixed or compensation is completely unprofessional.
