1 Star - Very Disappointed I was a longtime Couture client years ago and loved the company enough to refer others who became longtime clients. I recently rejoined the Lake Mary location in February and purchased the top membership, expecting the same quality of service I remembered. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. I have repeatedly had appointments cancelled or rescheduled because there were not enough providers, scheduling problems, or equipment failures. On one occasion, I was already numbed and in the treatment chair when I was told the fractional machine had broken. I have also had difficulty getting appointments and using the services I am paying for, with results that have been below what I experienced in the past. I repeatedly brought these concerns to staff and gave Couture time to improve. The final straw was being called just hours before an appointment and told it had to be rescheduled due to a scheduling issue on their end. I then told the front desk I wanted to cancel and was told I could do so by the end of August. However, when I returned on August 27, I was suddenly told I was locked into a 12-month contract. I was never provided a written copy of any contract or membership agreement stating this. I am extremely disappointed that a company I once trusted and recommended has declined this much in quality and customer service. I have requested cancellation effective August 27 and a refund of my $200 enrollment fee. I hope Couture will do the right thing and resolve this professionally. BE WARY JOINING! read more

I've gone to couture med spa for several years with excellent service and staff. It was amazing. As of late, there's been a mass exodus of amazing longstanding staff that were more like family. Sadly, any location is now booked 1-2 months in advance. Ridiculous. Front staff is replaced with less than competent staff. My visit today was a reflection of this. It would've been fantastic if the owner never communicated the loss to his clients. It would've been much smoother and we'd of known what to expect. The new team needs to make an effort to learn what existing accounts were told with their products banked if they were switch and what new team plans to do to less the drama in the office. I waited weeks for my appointment today. Today's appointment should've been straightforward. It was anything but. I was taken to the back by Kristen Martinez, Assistant Practice Administrator. If you are unfortunate, like me, to get her, talk very slow, don't use big words. She probably won't get it then either but.. don't use big words. Forget it, just go to the front and explain your issue to someone else. It worked for me. She didn't know if I needed to be numbed, what order to numb me, then doesn't listen to my question about the product that's banked instead quotes another product in a rude tone like she's the authority of what I'm going to do. She's clearly in the wrong industry. This is a beauty industry. I don't HAVE to go there to spend my money. They DO have competition. Karina can't process big words or minimally complex business issues. I'd not have her run a flea circus let alone a lucrative med spa. Well, once lucrative med spa. My Rather simple ask to a minimally complex issue, was quickly resolved with another person. It was great. Competent people are awesome to work with. After I got my issue resolved I left. Karina then calls to tell me she's cancelled my membership (thank you! You beat me to it. I don't tolerate Incompetence) then your email was poorly written to try and hurt me? Oh no, I'm sharing it on every review site, BBB and Florida Health Board and Artorney General. I've attached a screenshot for the world to see. A lot to improve... The management at this spa is incredibly unkind and strict with clients regarding punctuality, yet they do not hold themselves to the same standard. They have rescheduled me multiple times, left me waiting in a room for nearly half an hour, and once didn't even bother to open the clinic for a scheduled appointment. When they mess up the timing--which happens often--there is no apology or accountability. However, if a client is 5 minutes late, they are met with lectures about policy. I have been a member for almost a year. Do not let the Negative Nelly reviews fool you! I absolutely love the NP and all of the staff has been so sweet and helpful every visit. I asked A LOT of questions. I never felt pressured. I've never had any trouble getting scheduled and I usually do 7 treatments a month! I read a lot of these reviews and sheesh! I think there are just some people who will never be happy. My skin is much improved! I plan to renew my membership as I still have new areas I wish to treat. I'm frustrated by getting locked into a membership, and then not having enough options for booking my appointments or having credits build up when I can't make it. It almost seems like they use the classic gym membership model of hoping a bunch of people sign up and never use their membership. From sign in to check out, the staff is more interested in selling memberships than my overall experience. Maybe it's okay for someone with a very flexible schedule who can dedicate to coming in every month, but that's not me. read more

First of all, I didn't like the cheap gimmicks to try to sell the membership and other stuff. I had to politely tell them to stop and get to the point. I confirmed on the phone what I needed and scheduled an appointment. At the time of appointment, they made me wait 30ish minutes and said it's gonna be more $$ than initially said. If it was a bit more, I would have considered but it was way more. The thing that ticked me off was that they were very unapologetic about wasting my time. I took a just about an hour before being seen why they could not find my gift certificate I had given them myself on my first visit. They told me they couldn't see me that day as they had no proof I gave the certificate to them and need some code off if it to proceed. They had no regard for my time traveling there or the time sitting there to find out they misplaced my gift certificate. I don't dare to go on. This was very frustrating. I was already a member of this clinic about 5 years ago and tried to cancel the membership after a year and I I remember that I could only go to the clinic. 5 years later I saw a promotion on groupon for 6 tattoo removal sessions for 121.50 when I got there they told me that my tattoo was not the size that the promotion said and I was willing to buy the other package for 291.00 and they informed me that I should ask groupon refund for the other package. First session, they applied numb cream and I went home. When I returned I informed that I had bought another package to remove another tattoo and they told me that I couldn't use one more, it was then that I decided to buy the package from the clinic itself for 149.00 per month. It's worth remembering that there is a down payment of 200 dollars if you want to cancel the package before one year. The package included 2 tattoo sessions. I asked to do the sessions on the same day as the session in the package I bought from Groupon. I made an appointment, sat in the chair to start, the girl gave me a wipe because she had put numb cream on it, the same one they use at the clinic. That was when she told me that she couldn't do both sessions of the package on the same day, I asked why since I had already said on the phone that I would do it on the same day. I accepted after even not understanding why I couldn't use both sessions on the same day since I live almost an hour from the clinic. Not enough, the girl left and returned to the room saying that she couldn't do it that day because I had numb cream and it could have some dangerous substance in it. I didn't understand since they also use numb cream. It was then that I understood that when the manager came to tell me that the two sessions would only have to be used on one tattoo and that they would split the tattoo in two. one session one week and another session on another day. in other words, distorted information, terrible service. the Manager, who didn't even want to speak at any point during the service, when I informed them that I would cancel the package, then shouted: we are going to cancel your plan. Completely absurd, this perhaps explains the fact that the clinic is empty and with no one waiting for treatment. Terrible service and zero clarity of information. I advise you not to do so if you want a package as you will definitely have problems canceling. read more

This review is for the lake Mary location. The NP are willing to answer questions and explain the process. The young ladies working the front desk are interested in selling the package. They are extremely unprofessional and dismissive of concerns especially Candace not Candace the NP. Ask questions and get the answers in writing prior to signing up or purchasing anything. Each time I try to schedule an appointment the service I can schedule differs base on the person I am speaking with. Also, they do not provide you with any cancellation policy information. The policy differs depending on the person providing the information. If you purchase any product, even the facial scrub which is displayed in the lobby, you cannot return it even after a day. You are not informed of this and and it is not stated on the receipt. I wish I did not commit to the 12-month package. read more

Love this place- it is always a pleasure to have services here. The atmosphere and decor are inviting and beautiful. The staff always greets me by my name when I walk in the door, which in itself, is a nice touch these days. Appointments are always on time. Diane and her staff are amazing, and truly listen. I never feel dismissed or overdone when I leave. When I can, I always request Diane for my services- she is the best. And if she thinks I do not need a service, she will be honest and tell me, and not try to upsell me. A little Botox or filler can do so much for my self confidence when I start to feel dowdy. Terrible rude don't seem to care about the client only about their money. Management is the worst ever. Never seen anything like it! I got yelled at and disrespected. Manager is condescending and gave me 3 versions. No accountability to the client. Only concerned about getting their money and not providing any services. They must be hurting financially they took my membership money twice in May to cover their yearly expenses and did not provide any services for me in May. They canceled my appointment and scheduled someone else on my time while I had taken time from work to be at my appointment. I asked the manager why she had canceled my appointment without notifying me ahead of time and I found out she put someone else on my slot time. Then, she gave me three versions of what had happened all within 3 min so I asked her which one was the truth then she yelled/ insulted me and gave me her back walked away closed the door. Completely unprofessional. Later in spite of me asking about which one was the true version she canceled my membership. I tried to let it go since they hire very young girls to be managers and there seems to be no accountability in that place. It seems that their management mentality is that they are right even if they are wrong and the client is always wrong in that business establishment. I did not want to stress myself over more about this incident I had to deal with the manager on the day I showed up for my scheduled appointment. So, I could not have my appointment since she canceled without letting me know so I let it go off my mind that disturbing event. So, days passed and I called to schedule my appointment they denied scheduling me and said that the owner was going to call me before I schedule my appointments. However, they had already taken money out of my account for that month and did not allow me to schedule my services for the month. They charged me twice my memberships and canceled my membership after in order to keep my money for the memberships. They took my money twice for that month to also cover their yearly expenses without allowing me to schedule appts and to provide me the services on the contract for what I had paid for. They canceled my membership. So, when I asked to talk to the owner they said she would call me at a certain time the next Monday and she never followed up. I called the Winter Park location spoke with another manager in charge of membership that said she was going to follow up with me and never did as well. When I called again they said I would get a call back from the owner. I never got a call back she canceled my membership without even speaking to me to know the facts. I was in complete disbelief for the lack of professionalism and care for the client. They also do off label procedures that caused an indentation on my face. Be aware. This is an example of poor business practice and how I client should not be treated in their establishment. read more

I did sign up for, what I was told, was a month to month contract. Apparently it was a year commitment. I was half way through the month when I has a family emergency. I asked if I could roll the service into this month, I was told that I just lost that month. I told them that I wanted to cancel my service and was told that they wouldn't cancel it because I made a year commitment. I explained that their systems were down and I was told that what I was signing for was month to month. She explained that it was a year contract and that there was nothing I could do. I was verbally told it was a month to month contract. I wouldn't recommend going here. I wouldn't be so upset about it, if they would just let me do the make up. I have flight info to support my reason for not being able to come in. It's a shame that thet verbally misrepresented the membership.
