Unfortunately, this has changed due to my last two experiences. My mom lives in Volusia county and has never had luck finding a good nail salon so she took the drive down here to go with me. Her nail tech Annie did an amazing job. Annie is my absolute favorite for a mani/pedi. I decided to treat myself to the hot stone pedicure. A middle aged gentleman was the one who did it. First he didn't let the rocks cool off enough. They were so hot I jumped at one point and let out a little scream which made Bobby look over, but he said nothing. Of course, I told him they were too hot and he proceeded to tell me it was burning his hands too. The lady next to him laughed and said he's just joking (he wasn't). He also didn't know how to properly massage my legs with the hot stone as the same lady had to show him. I always speak up, but this time since it was my mom's first time and she was raving about Annie I paid for the hot stone even though it was miserable. The next time I made an appointment I called and spoke to Bobby. I requested Annie and another gentleman (can't remember his name), but he's great too. He's a younger guy. Bobby told me Annie was on maternity leave and the guy was out of town. I proceeded to tell him about my last experience and that I didn't want that guy. He said yes, I think I remember what happened and assured me I wouldn't. So we show up and Annie is their. She ended up taking me and my mom got another lady who I've had before and is too rough. Looking back, I should've switched with my mom. Annie did an amazing job, but my mom's tech was once again too rough. My mom got a gel manicure and a regular pedi polish. When I get gel mani and regular polish pedi I always pick out the color and they match it to my toes, which my mom also did. My mom, who traveled 45mins each way noticed her nails and toes were two different colors when she got home! Her nails were red and her toes were maroon. We were leaving the following morning on a cruise (this was in January before the pandemic lockdown), so she had no time to drive 45mins each way to get them fixed. I'm highly disappointed that the salon I've been loyal to for 4 years has gone down hill. The only reason my rating isn't lower is due to the great job they've done in the past. Had it been based on my last two experiences, I'd give 1 star. I've found a new spot in Winter Park who did a great job and I'll be switching nail salons.

I found this salon on google and it was just across the street from my hotel so I went over...WELL...I have never had a full set of French tips done so beautifully!! They are absolutely gorgeous and I love them as well as my pretty pink toes... I had a generic MC gift card to use with $100 on it and my services came to a total of $98. For whatever reason my gift card kept getting declined for insufficient funds even though it was brand new and was full as shown on the website I went to check it. I ended up having to swipe it several times for smaller amounts and it still wouldn't charge the last few dollars but I managed to get that taken care of out of my severely depleted bank account due to being laid off a few months ago, I start a new job on Monday though so yay for new nails for that too!! Anywho all of that to say that John, the owner, and Vicky my nail tech are absolutely awesome and amazing and I wish I lived here because I would totally have found my new nail place and tech to go to regularly!! I am beyond disappointed and honestly extremely pissed off with my experience here. I came in for…read moresomething as simple as an eyebrow wax and a pedicure, trusting that I was in the hands of professionals. Instead, I walked out with visibly damaged skin and burns on both eyebrows. Immediately after my eyebrow wax, I was seated for my pedicure. While a different man, who I believe was the owner, was removing my old gel polish, I knew something was seriously wrong with my eyebrows. I immediately asked him for ice or a cold, wet cloth and told him that something was wrong. He called the woman who had waxed my eyebrows over, spoke to her in another language, and then continued working on my nails without explaining to me what was happening. She came back with a green gel and put it on my eyebrow. It immediately started burning. When she tried to put more on, I physically pulled away because it was painful. I told them I did not want it on my face and asked for ice. The man told me, "No, no, put it on, it will feel better," so she put it on again. It continued to burn, and eventually they brought me a small hand fan, which I had to hold against my eyebrow for the majority of the rest of my appointment. And somehow, I was just expected to sit there and deal with it. The woman who waxed me sat across from us talking with the other employees while I sat there holding a fan to my face. Nobody checked on me. Nobody asked if I was okay. Nobody seemed concerned that I was visibly in pain. Eventually, I had to put the fan down because my arm was hurting from holding it. The man asked if it still hurt. I told him that it hurt. His response was essentially an "hmm," and he went right back to doing my toes. This is what is so upsetting to me. Accidents can happen. I understand that. But the moment you realize you have potentially injured a customer, you should immediately take that seriously. Instead, I told them something was wrong, told them it was burning, asked for ice, physically flinched away from the product because of the pain, and was still treated like it was no big deal. By the end of my appointment, the damage to my skin was extremely visibly obvious. Nobody apologized. Nobody explained what happened. Nobody offered any proper aftercare instructions. Nobody told me what I should or shouldn't put on my skin. Nobody even seemed genuinely concerned about the fact that I had been sitting there in pain. Then I went to pay. I specifically told the man that I would NOT be paying for the eyebrow service and pointed out the injury on my face. His response was simply, "Okay, $53," and he moved the iPad toward me to pay for the pedicure.That response honestly says everything. I trusted this business with my FACE. I trusted them to provide a basic beauty service safely, and instead I left injured, in pain, and completely dismissed. What happened was bad enough, but the way they handled it afterward was unacceptable. This was not just a bad eyebrow wax. This was a situation where a customer was clearly in pain and injured the people responsible did not take it seriously. this is absolute negligent, and I do not feel that this is a safe place to receive beauty services. Nobody should go here. I would never recommend this business to anyone, especially for services involving your face or skin. I trusted a professional and walked out with damaged skin, no apology, no explanation, and no aftercare instructions. I will NEVER be returning here, and I strongly encourage anyone considering this place to go somewhere else. Your safety should come before anything else, and I would not trust this business with mine again. If I could give a 0 star, I would. I attached photos with time stamps to show how the eye brow burns developed fully as I was still in the salon! I also attached photos of how they looked last night and this morning. This is extremely unacceptable!!!!!!
