Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.

I wasn't going to be interrogated, harassed, or gaslit. I told her that I've been there more than once, & I don't appreciate her calling to argue with me. I am entitled to an honest review of my experience & my feelings concerning it. She sounded argumentative wanting to argue the exact date & what happened, saying she had video proof. I told her that I've been there more than once, & left the room at different times & there is nothing to argue about. She has never cared about my feelings & experience there. The Brazilian waxing covers a delicate area, you need to trust the place you go to, and this Manager woman just makes the whole experience so much worse for me. I should have never given this place my business in the past, should've stayed at a better sugaring place in Oviedo which was honestly so extremely sweet, kind, caring, & patient. I even bought a nicely scented exfoliant from the previous sugaring place. They continuously grind away at the natural nail until raw and painful nail bed before applying several coats of dip to replace the nail they just eradicated. Unskilled filing left cracks up the nails that came up very painfully. I say "they" because the appointment was always with Cecilia but the owner/husband would always grind and file before she grinned and filed some more. Nails were always overworked, sore and raw before first brush. And the man was always a bit too pushy and touchy for my taste. I was uncomfortable since day one; and asked him to stop touching my arm/shoulder. Im sure it's innocent but not professional. We have had to rest & take care of our nails at home because of how painful all the cracks and lack of nail bed have been. Never going back!

Most importantly though, you can still reliably get a killer manicure and pedicure here. The attention to detail and level of care given is incredible. My faves Pink and Tina are still knocking it out of the park with the most impeccable manicures I've had and I really can't see myself trusting my nails with anyone else. And I've caved and tried a place or two over the last couple years and regretted it. Won't make that mistake again!! What's changed? I'd say they've added more staff to keep up with the demand. You still should always try to make an appointment. I don't go anywhere these days without an appointment. And they also have added a number of services including their new head spa services that lol pretty amazing. If I didn't already go for regular massages I might consider it. They also have all the trendy gels and dips and builders and that you might be looking for. Oh, and they recently upgraded all their massage chairs! How could I forget that!! I definitely highly recommend the Hand & Foot Spa. Again, just make an appt and be sure to get there on time. They're sticklers for keeping on time.
