Service and tech are awesome. I have never seen so many colors or brands of nail color. In 14 hours 2 toes lost their gel polish and my daughter's fingernails the mustard color started to bubble. We went back, they fixed my two toes and redid that specific color on her nails. The day after we there for the corrections I had another toe lose the gel polish. I haven't gone to have fixed since it isn't always convenient to go that way. I am very frustrated that this has all happened in 4 days time of getting the pedicure. read more

I've been coming to K&T off and on for 2.5 years. My first few experiences were awesome, but the quality of service is declining. I always feel like I'm a bother to the tech and the pricing is inconsistent. I also find it a little awkward that the tip suggestions are so inflated.. I went in last week to get dip and within 2 days my thumb had cracked and throughout the week every single nail chipped. Now my natural nails are short and broken. I've had to file down multiple nails as the broken polish and nails were snagging everything I touched. Will be finding a new salon asap. read more

K &T Nails are wonderful. My daughter and I have been going here for a while and we have always gotten great service. They take care of their customers very well. It's more about making sure their customers are happy and well pampered before they leave. Julie and Donni do an excellent job. I get my manicure done by Julie and she takes her time and pride in her work to make sure my nails are always beautiful. My nails always receive compliments at work. Donni is also exceptional. My daughter loves her Mani, pedi done by Donni. He takes time and shows his talent in his work.My toes have deep ingrowths and Donni has been the only one who has managed to take care of them. I called this morning and made a 2:00 appointment. Walked in at 1:55 and had a seat in the pedi chair right away! Lauren was so nice, asked me my name and remembered it throughout my entire visit. My basic pedicure took 25 minutes. I was so pleased I added a simple manicure as well since I had the time! Most nail salons don't have great reviews, and I've been to other salons in the STP area with no luck. I highly recommend coming here. The last couple times I've been here they don't even give me time to pick out a color, they force me to sit down and give me one book to pick from and everything feels rushed(they were not busy) . I was hoping that this would be my next go to place, but it will not. I went a couple of times earlier this year and was pleased. However, after my pedicure person Tracy left, I was disappointed. Then I have noticed twice now that when I either had an appointment or came in first this tall slender tech rubbed me the wrong way. All I will say is i'm doing my best not to think wrong of him. However, my last time visiting this place on a Saturday morning @9:30 am with about 5 sitting around waiting for a wedding party, they chose not to service me because in 30 mins they will be having a wedding party. Really ??? do you know how many could have came through and they would of have turned them down as well, or was it just me So, I decided to make an appointment for a later time and when I returned it was as if they did not have any one to do my nails. This is where the tall slender guy comes in again. So the receptionist started talking in their language regarding my appt. the slender guy smirked and took the lady that walked in a minute before me and was waiting to get her nails done and since i know they don't have any 2:55 appts. I sat there waiting for my 3:00 appt as i have once before with an appointment and felt a vibe from that guy once again. ( I listen to what was said when these ladies arrived and watched one enter as i was in the parking lot) Neither, times those ladies had an appointment. So I got stuck with the pedicure girl doing my nails. So, I asked for a full set ombré pink. Over and over she act like she didn't understand me. She took over 1hr20 mins. She placed my nails on and one nail bed was to big, but she glued it on. Then she used a big brush to apply the acrylic on and because of that she did a sloppy job and I had to point out to her that she did not apply that on smoothly. Oh! and then when she applied the. acrylic on she started at the glued part of the nail OMG! I asked her was she new? The young lady took the long way around and because she had did such a bad job she worked twice as hard to make them look right. Enough where a co- worker questioned her work , before I asked if she was new and wanted to see my nails at the end because he couldn't believe she was done. That day I had somewhere to be, but never again. Also i tipped her mainly because of the road she took herself through. Yes, I still tipped her even when I didn't want too. This took place in early August, I've wanted to speak on this but needed to wait for a peace of mind. So, I will just take my service elsewhere. I've been told that a place on mid rivers called Nail World is good so on to my next adventure ‍Also, I don't believe the owners were there. read more

I have been here several times because of my good experiences previously. However these last 2 times i have went i've been over charged for dip powder as i asked specifically for dip & the guy made it as if it was "acrylic" dip in order to charge me more ! Literally all he did was use a brush to apply the same dip powder nothing additional! My nails naturally grow long so the dip is all i need nothing extra. After having a poor experience at a different nail salon I was very happy to find K&T Nails. The salon is beautiful and very clean. I was greeted right away upon walking in. They got me in quick as a walk in. My nails were done by the owner Kim. She was very sweet. She took her time, paid attention to detail, and did a great job on my nails. She thanked all of her customers by name as they left. You can tell she really appreciates and cares for her customers. I just had my first visit and left slightly disappointed. I asked for an almond shaped nail with French manicure. I showed a picture of what I wanted and although technically it is correct the quality is lacking. I do not get gel, dip or acrylic because I have very strong natural nails. The tech tried to tell me at first I would need tips since my nails aren't strong enough before he even touched my nails. I told him non the less I wanted to try it. He did a good job with the shaping but then pulled out the dremel tool to file my nails and cuticles which I hate and don't think it is necessary for natural nails with regular polish. This ends up weakening my nails. Then he moves on the paint my nails. He only put one coat of white and then started to shape the French tips. I asked him to make sure the actually white of my natural nails did not show but as you can see in the picture it does. I had to stop him before putting on the top coat because I wanted pink in the other area. He put it on and one top coat and sent me to dry. The line between the white and rest of my nails looks blurry, and my nails were left so roughed up from the dremel tool. In addition, I asked for their classic manicure which is the least expensive but this didn't include lotion massage or cuticle oil. It was $35 and I did tip 20% but I don't think I will go back. My natural nail will take close to 6 months to grow out again from the rough treatment. read more

My daughter and I got gel pedicures in her birthday and our appointments were at noon. It was like a speed painting event. We were back in our car at 12:37. If we walk in at noon and by the time they get started it's likely 12:05 at least. For us to be in our car at 12:37 is ridiculous! They didn't clean around the toes or exfoliate anything but the heels. The polish job was fine but not very neat at all. Only bc we chose nice colors it looked passing good. It's so frustrating to try to have a special day and have someone act like they are trying to rush you through like cattle. It was my second visit at K&T. My first pedicure was lovely. This visit was a total flop for both of us. I can't recommend them to anyone and likely won't be going back. I work hard for my money and it feels so insulting to have that experience. read more
