I have been coming to Tracy for years, but unfortunately today's experience was the final straw. One thing that has remained consistent over the years is the unpleasant attitude. Customer service matters, especially when people are spending their hard-earned money in an economy where everything is already expensive. No customer should feel like they are inconveniencing a business by walking through the door. Before arriving, I explained over the phone what I needed done. When I got there, I was short on time and told Tracy to do whatever was necessary to fix my nails. She looked at them and immediately stated that because I had three missing nails, I could not get a fill-in and would need a soak-off instead. I agreed without hesitation and told her to proceed. After filing my nails and beginning the process, she later changed her mind and said I could actually do a fill-in after all. At that point, I was confused because the soak-off process had already been started. When I said we should just continue with the soak-off since that's what had already been recommended, the conversation became unnecessarily tense. What bothered me most wasn't the confusion about the service--it was the attitude that accompanied the entire interaction. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I felt like I was being spoken to with irritation and hostility. When someone has supported a business for years, they should be treated with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, I am not the only person who feels this way. I've personally heard multiple former customers say they stopped coming because of similar experiences with the attitude and customer service. There are countless nail salons available, and while quality work is important, so is how customers are treated. No one should have to pay to be made uncomfortable. I sincerely hope customer service improves because the attitude has overshadowed the service for far too long. However, after that, the situation became uncomfortable. Tracy began speaking in her language, apparently believing I did not understand what was being said. Whether she realized it or not, I understood enough to know the conversation was about me and my service. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. At that point, I decided I was no longer willing to spend my money somewhere I felt unwelcome. So I did something simple: I got up, walked out, and chose to take my business elsewhere. After years of overlooking the attitude and giving repeated chances, this experience confirmed that it was time to move on. No customer should feel uncomfortable, disrespected, or unwanted when they are paying for a service. There are plenty of nail salons that provide both quality work and respectful customer service, and that's where I'll be spending my money from now on.

When I moved to MO from IL, I was worried I couldn't find a nail person who could do the designs and such as my old nail tech. But Tracy knocked it out of the park! Everytime I leave super satisfied with her work! Even when she's unavailable, her co worker Van does a phenomenal job as well! HIGHLY recommend this shop! Here's just a few samples of their work!

Walked in because it's been a few weeks since I had my nails done. I had the pleasure of getting Rosie for my pedicure and full set of dipped nails. Rosie was sweet and kind. My feet and legs were rubbed and scrubbed and toes trimmed and painted meticulously. My tips were filed to perfection and dipped with my signature red 55 white book. I'll be coming back in 2.5 weeks to see her for sure

I came in for a full set and the lady was very rude. She had an attitude when I asked for more glitter and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. The nails do not look very good and they cost $100!!! I've never gone to a place that charges that much and I've gotten way more intricate designs.

I have had my nails done at Fashion Nails about 13 times. When I originally went, I wanted Gel x because my nails were very short. By the third time, my nail tech suggested I try dip. I'm hooked! My nails easily last 3 weeks without chipping or breaking. I am very happy with my experience at Fashion Nails.

I came here 5 days ago for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was fine but I already have nails breaking or falling off of my hands. Whatever powder they used didn't get remotely as hard as any other salon I've been to so the tips could bend. They also weren't shaped well at all and were very uneven around my cuticles

LOVE this nail spa! Always very accommodating with any nail inspirations requested. Everyone is always super polite and helpful.

Do Not come there they very rule at me no reason and very aggressive with me and then cut my hands two time I informed the manger she got a attitude like i did it trying say she get me 10 discount like that help for the disrespect mind you I'm African-American woman they treat like I was nothing I call the the cops because I was black they did not care to help me justice will be served treat me like I poor and can't pay poor Service of my life my hand still bleeding out

I had a terrible experience with the girl who did my pedicure, she was rough tugging my ankles and knocking on my legs when I got my massage. the towel from hell left burning sensations and pedicure was not detailed. I left a lengthy review on google that I guess the " manager" obnoxiously responded to. They did not offer to fix the mistakes, or take responsibility for anything but here is what happened 1.walk in the manager says she can do 2 of the 10 full set styles i show her, so I got nervous and decided on just a pedi 2. should have left then, but my girlfriend was getting a basic manicure which was terrible as well!! 3. my bowl wasn't bleached before the plastic liner was put in, if you don't know...look it up. liners should never be used. 4. my feet were handed very poorly and nails cut really deep in some areas, cucticals not pushed back and trimmed. 5. took longer to clean up her paint mess she made on toes than it took to paint them.

Everytime I come to this place, i get out with an excellent fullset dip. Here, all the nail tech do such a good job with the design. Highly recommend this place

Brought my daughters in for JUST ACRYLICS. I had to leave to go start dinner so their dad picked them up. They charged him $200. $200 for 2 sets of acrylics. I am FURIOUS that they took advantage of him and my kids like that. NEVER going back there again. And I recommend you not going either. read more

Nails we're very disappointing... service was meh. I showed the man a picture and he ended up not doing what I asked. Design was messy and lazy. He was also rude. my pinky finger was in excruciating pain during, hurt so bad when even the smallest bit of pressure was put on it. after? all of my fingers are in pain. hurts every time my nails get caught on anything. My friend had a different tech and her experience was far different than mine. Her nails turned out amazing, and without any pain in the end. Overall disappointed for how much paid. I have been going here for about 3 years. I love the atmosphere and close proximity to my home. I have had numerous techs and no problems with any until the last girl I had been using for a couple of months - I would end up bleeding after she removed skin from cuticles both on my fingers and during my pedicure. I just thought I'd give her another chance but I now call and actually ask for a tech I have used before and liked. Don't give up this place because of one tech - there are plenty of great techs here and place is clean and phenomenal!! read more

I appreciate the fact they got 2/3 of us in early however my girl was 15 minutes past appt time as she was late to work. We all had the Deluxe pedicure but it seemed each one was a little different. One girl was very rough with the file and cut a toe. read more

Tracy and Ann are the BEST! I've never been one to continually get my nails done because they don't last more than a week or two or I don't get good customer serve. But I've been going to Fashion Nails for the last year because my nails last FOUR weeks and they are all very nice. 10/10! read more

My friend and I went here for the first time. It's very clean and the employees are super sweet. They make sure you're comfortable while you're getting your nails done. It's super affordable and the location is easy to find. Inside is super spacious and organized. I thoroughly enjoyed getting my nails done here. read more

Went it to see Tracy today because I had seen her amazing work on Facebook! I have been having the hardest time finding a good place and technician. I called and made an appointment a few days in advance. I arrived 10 minutes early and was seated right away. Tracy was exceptional she did exactly what I asked! I am blown away! all the workers are very rude & don't know how to do nails. I received a FILL the other day I left bleeding bc she ripped off my cuticles & burned me multiple times & even when I let her know she was burning me she did not care & proceeding. She charged me 50 dollars for a fill & cuticle cut that I didn't even request. Don't waste your money ladies read more

I love this place! They never disappoint with anything i ask for! They have all been very nice, professional and the salon is super clean and decorated well! I've had a couple different techs for my pedicure, and everyone of them was great! Rosey was so awesome!! I'm always offered a drink, staff is friendly. I would highly recommend!! Tracy is who does my nails primarily, but i have used others there as well and I've never been disappointed!! Love it there!! I think it's affordable and worth every penny!! read more

They had nice people working but my only issue was as I was getting my nails done I looked down and my lady was drilling my nails so much and picking unnecessary skin, that they were all bleeding. Around my nails are still pretty swollen from it after five days. I am sure that is not common, just my experience. read more

Went here on a whim five days ago and was pleasantly surprised. Actually I arrived 30 mins before closing and I said I wanted a gel manicure and they had an older, nice lady named Mary to do my nails and let me tell you, Ms. Mary did a BEAUTIFUL job! I ended up getting the "dip" polish in the three shades of purple as you see in my pics. By the way, this is a five day old manicure...Yep! That's right...five days old!!!! Established in 2009.

My wife and I took over Fashion Nails on June 20, 2017. We kept all of the nail techs and were able to get a few to come back that had left from previous ownership. It's made a huge improvement in the health and appearance of my nails. I can wear sheer polish now. My nails don't get nasty discolorations. And Lila never files my living nail like many techs do. (Have you ever had a nail removed and seen all those half circle divets in your nail bed? It's killing your nails!) My nails aren't fake and chunky looking either. I frequently get compliments even though I don't do anything fancy--just simple polish. The salon is near St. Joseph Hospital in old St. Charles and has its own parking lot. So convenient. Its cozy environment is nice--a boutique spot, not 10 techs super busy and trying to fit in walk-ins. They have a scheduling app called Vagaro that I use for appointments. The only drawback you may have is paying a deposit for your appointment. But if you're the kind of person who keeps your appointments, then it will be worth it. In my experience (3 months so far) they've been on time and easy to work with. They just got in some gorgeous new fall colors and I tried a muted pink. But they have rich greens, blues, and browns, too. Maybe I'll go a little bolder next time--a deep blue-- or maybe I'll go back to a sheer. Who knows?

They did such an amazing job and provided some deserts and drinks for all of us:) they scheduled us in the morning and opened the salon to the public after we were done. Fashion nails is a salon that actually cares about their customers. When I come in and it's busy they actually tell me what the wait time is. They will put my name in the book so I can run some errands and when I come back I am helped right away. They actually care and don't wast my time like most salons just have you sit and wait forever. My wedding wouldn't have been so perfect without these guys. My mom and I scheduled my bridal party here 3 weeks ago. The arrangement was so adorable and wonderful with little dessert and fruits for us to enjoy while we were having mani/pedi done.
