However, I am not a fan of their sales tactics at all and also of their tricky contract. Their sales technicians are not well educated on what the company can do and will promise anything to get the sale and a contract signed. They've done a great job with spider control and will come out extra times, if needed. But I've struggled with them making any sort of dent in our vole problem. But I had another company before them that also struggled with coming up with a solution as well. Fenix will at least try and experiment and do what they can. It just hasn't worked yet.... I would give technicians (Maxwell Johnson was the most recent) a 5 star review. The rest of this review does not pertain to them specifically.

The initial sales contact stated that we would be able to cancel our service at any point. When I attempted to do that I was informed that wasn't the terms of the contract that was put in place. So was forced to continue the service for the full year. I assumed that our service was concluded. Just received a notice that they were returning for another service. When I called to question that, was informed that the agreement continues unless you provide written notice to cancel. So we will be charged for another visit because they need 30 day notice. They've now been notified so I assume we are now done with them. Also, if you use their service, be prepared for an on-slot of notices until your invoice is paid. Not an issue if you meet your tech and hand them a check, but very irritating if you are going through a process to issue payment. In general, not an organization that I'm likely to choose in the future.

After a few minutes, I said that we are happy with our current service and wanted to end the conversation. The young man would not stop his sales pitch and insisted that our current service was inferior to Aptive Pest Control. I asked him to leave and he just continued talking about how their product is superior and we are making a mistake staying with our current service. After about the 7th time I asked him to leave, I finally told him that I would call the police. He still mocked my choice of pest control and then finally walked away. If this is how they treat their potential customers, I cannot image how they would treat their current customers.

On two occasions, I stated upfront I wasn't interested in the services and the young men continued to talk, one of which slowly moved into my garage and I specifically asked him to step out. When told no, they continue to get aggressive. Additionally, my family and I stopped into McDonald's where all of them were having lunch. They were all extremely loud, cursing, and talking about inappropriate things in front of families. I'm not sure how you're running business or what incentives you're offering for your sales reps, but this is not the way to do it.
