Liz gave my husband & I a ton of hands on information & resources to prepare us for the big day. Between her & the midwives at our birth center, I felt completely supported in our pregnancy journey & that I had a knowledgable teammate in our corner. The day of, Liz's presence went above & beyond our expectations. My childbirth experience of course did not go as planned but having Liz made what could've been a disappointing, scary, & chaotic change of plans had it just been my husband & I, into a calm, informed, & positive experience. When we have baby number 2 hopefully 3 years from now, there is no birth plan I create where Liz is not an important component to their labor & delivery.

From the minute my husband and I met her we instantly felt comfortable in her presence and we both naturally gravitated towards her, she seemed like someone we would have been friends with for years. Looking back on the entire experience, I know I would not have been able to do it without her. I ended up having a natural birth and Stacey was there to help me through it all. There were several times that I did not believe in myself or think I could do it and Stacey knew exactly what to say and knew exactly what to do to help make me feel mentally strong and physically better. I have told all my friends about Stacey and strongly encourage them to use her when they decide to have a baby. I know for sure my husband and I will be calling on Stacey when we go to have baby number two. Stacey is incredibly knowledgable and so easy to relate to and get along with, I was able to be completely myself with her and was able to talk with her like I'd known her for years. I was so happy to have her by my side when the nurses asked me questions or advised me on things that I wasn't sure about. Knowing Stacey's resume, background and years of experience I knew I could trust in her advise and opinion. I knew she was looking out for what was best for me and that ultimately it was my decision but she was there to help me understand all my options. My children experienced blatant favoritism, where the same students were constantly given opportunities while others were overlooked, no matter how hard they worked. The class leveling is a complete mess, students with vastly different skill levels are lumped together, making it impossible for anyone to truly progress. When their regular instructor is unavailable, the kids are often taught by high school students who are given too much power in this school. While these students are lovely, it feels more like I'm paying for babysitting rather than a real dance education. I believe this is closely tied to the owner's lack of maturity, which affects their ability to run a business and hire qualified dance instructors. The instructors rarely provide meaningful feedback to help students improve, leaving them to guess what they need to work on. The "highest ranking" ballet teacher who is also good friends with the owner, is extremely condescending and rude to anyone who isn't one of their favorites. More so, the teachers are immature and not properly trained, and openly discuss students with other students, which is completely unprofessional and damaging to young dancers' confidence. The schedule is never provided in a timely manner and constantly fluctuates, leaving parents at the mercy of the school's availability rather than allowing for proper planning. We were constantly told the schedule is coming out on X date, registration is coming on X date and this rarely happens and is usually delayed weeks. If you truly want your child to learn proper dance technique, and grow as a dancer, look elsewhere--this school is more about instagram than an actual dance education.

It was the perfect mixture of dance techniques, and fun games for the kids. I like how they incorporated a story, some coloring, and free dance. It was fun for the moms to be involved with the dancing too! Can't wait to go back soon!
