This review is about to get real. I just escaped an abusive marriage and needed to cover the branding of that "man's" initials. I came into Covenant with a tall order. I wanted a complicated design to cover a large, dark mistake (double entendres intended). I've been turned away by other artists for much simpler requests, so I wasn't optimistic. But then Les stepped up to the challenge. He didn't just cover up the previous work, he recreated it into something more incredible than I could imagine. He was in constant communication and collaboration for the entire process (which was long, but made bearable because he has a light, steady hand). On top of all that, he's an awesome guy and was a blast to work with. I didn't just get a tattoo. I got an astounding piece of artwork and a new hope for the future. Thank you, Les for everything!!!! Stunned at the professionalism and so impressed with the service experience my girl friend and I received from Shane the piercer here at Covenant! My friend really wanted to get some piercings done, but had never had any piercing experience before aside from ears, as where I have. Shane made the whole experience worth the bit of pain while being pierced. He created an atmosphere and an environment that allowed both of us to relax and have fun while getting our piercings together. He was hilarious but was also a well-rounded professional as a piercer at the same time! Of course I was also impressed with his piercing skills! I highly recommend coming here and seeing Shane for all your piercing needs! Not only is the price very reasonable, but you will walk out of there with a smile on your face and really glad you didn't chicken out!! I went into the covenant and talked to tattoo artist Shane! He had an opening and I told him what I wanted. He drew up a sweet design and tattooed me that night! He said he had an opening the following night so I told him about my next design. He was super friendly and excited to do more work on me, so I showed up the following night and he did another awesome tattoo for me! He was very reasonably priced and just a cool person to work with. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and everybody in the shop was friendly and cool! I strongly recommend going in there and checking it out! I look forward to going in again for my next piece that once again tattoo Shane was very excited and confident in doing it. I'd never had a tattoo, so I was a little leery! Les calmly listened to what I wanted and then had me write it down. I appreciated that he really listened! When I came in the next day for my appointment, he printed out the proposed tat and asked for revisions/approval. I was thankful that I could change my mind a bit. He helped me get to the best tattoo for what I wanted. When he actually did the tattoo, he was calming and gentle. A friend with me kept saying, "He's doing a great job! It looks wonderful!" I have gone to Covenant on 3 separate occasions now to get pierced. I have gotten 4 piercings done now. All 4 done by the wonderful, talented Twiggy/Shayna. My first one was a lip piercing that has been healing perfectly. And I was so happy with it, I got my industrial done next, which is also right where I want it and healing great. Most recently I got a second lip and my lower navel done. Twiggy did such a great job making sure I was comfortable, at ease, and ready for what was coming next. We even joked some beforehand, which made things even more comfortable and helped me stay relaxed. I will definitely be using her again in the near future! Thanks Twiggy! read more

I would give 10 stars if I could. Shayna (Twiggy) the apprentice pierced my nape about a week ago and she did amazing. She was very professional, and friendly and made me feel at home and very comfortable while getting pierced. She went over the process before hand and all of the aftercare with me very thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I will be back for more piercings by her very soon. Her mentor (I didnt get his name- had a big beard) was also very great and explained the long term risks with my piercing beforehand, and I thought that was super responsible and I appreciate it a lot. read more

I received the most horrible tattoo here. After mere hours following completion, my arm was swelling and blistering. I ended up in the ER finally with a horrid bacterial infection and after 7 weeks of healing still have drag scars from the extremely poor technique, let alone, whatever caused the iinfection..most likely equipment since it set in so rapidly. On top of that, the "tattooist" refuses to give me a refund. His name is John Ward. Two thumbs way down. read more

Yesterday my daughter (age 10) had her ears pierced for the second time and Shane and his assistant were amazing! The first time she had her ears pierced, we went to Claire's and it was done crooked with a piercing gun. This was how I had mine done as a child, so I thought it was the best way. I had the incredible experience of getting my first tattoo done by Zachary Harris at Covenant! I came with a pretty vague design but an image of what I wanted perfectly drawn out in my head, and within 10 minutes he had the perfect design drawn out and it was exactly what I wanted! I've been going to Covenant for almost 2 years now. Brian is awesome, and we have over 30 hours so far on my sleeve. Everyone is nice and welcoming no matter if you have a lot of work already, or are looking for your first tattoo. The pricing is comparable to all of the other shops in town. The shop itself is in a cool building, and extremely clean. Nobody takes themselves too seriously and it's all about having a good time. read more

My husband and I are thrilled with our tattoos from Joe! These are our first tattoos and we weren't exactly sure what we wanted or what the process was. Joe explained everything, and designed exactly what we wanted, colorized them perfectly and was so kind and careful as he completed the work. We did this two months ago and love, love, love them!
