Room 17 . Spotless with adorable bed cover

This is a very cute motel right on the river . I arrived late on Friday and the place was empty . I had to call from a little phone next to the office and the owner came right down . She was a cute older polish women who gave me the run down of the area and the reataurant across the street . My room was number 17 and the view of the river were amazing ! The room and the bedding were spotless . My private balcony was great for my friend and I to drink our wine . There was a million Channels on the TV . The heat worked great and the pillows and mattresses were new . My travel buddy and I ate at the Red Fox directly across the street and it was amaazinggg . We walked from our hotel to the covered bridge ( 200 feet away ) and crossed over into this charming little village with a store and a pub and a place for breakfast !! The location of this motel is fantastic!! I had my small dog with me , and we sat in the chairs provided right on the rushing river ! I even used the tree swing ! I travel very often and was happy with this motel . MT . Washington is five miles down the road só it is a great location !

I want to start this off by saying I am a huge supporter of "mom and pop" type places. But this was such a huge disappointment. My mom booked this place for us for a weekend getaway and based off the pictures on their website, it looked really nice. Wrong. Upon arrival the instant smell of mildew and mold filled your lungs. The bathroom of the room had mold on the floor corners and in the shower corners. The beds were hard as rocks and the carpet looked as if someone smushed food into it. Also, this place has NO REFUNDS. Assuming it's from people seeing the place and leaving. Very disappointed. Will not return nor refer anyone.

The owner is extremely disrespectful. Stating the fallen 7 VETERANS deserved to lose their lives. If you're familiar with the accident, they were not the ones who crossed the center line. The comments from this business are atrocious and I'm saddened to even leave one star here. To support this business would be an extreme act of disrespect to our US Veterans.

Where to start. We were coming up to the mountains for one night. We booked this at the last minute. The whole place smells old, like it needs a deep clean. Our sliding door looks like he hasn't been cleaned in months. When we called to ask if we could check in early since our confirmation said checkin was at 4. The person who answered didn't give a name, and was horribly rude saying "we are way behind already so I doubt it, but call back an hour before checkin." We walked in let me tell you the picture of the "lodge" is VERY deceiving. It does not look like the picture. Wall paper falling off of the walls. The room was like ice when we walked in. The door is as thin as paper. Luckily the bed and pillows aren't to bad and sheets are clean. We did not partake in the "breakfast" after seeing the pictures. It is really a shame because it's a beautiful location and it could be a nice place. The owners need to start paying attention to these reviews, i attached a picture of there response to my review on google. I didn't know that i clean room was a luxury. They need a lesson in hospitality. We will NOT be back.

Nip with a cigarette but left on an AC unit! Left by who I assume to be the maintenence man who was smoking and sitting outside the room.

Was looking forward to sitting in the jacuzzi in our "penthouse" the whole weekend. Well I decided, because of horror stories of Jacuzzis in hotels, that I was going to run a bottle of bleach with warm water through it when I got there. The jacuzzi was nasty the amount of dead skin and black mold that came out just from that was disgusting. The office sent housekeeping up to the room to clean the jacuzzi. And took half off our first night since we couldn't use it. We'll I decided to pull off the jets and look to see if they cleaned. Nope. I took a toothbrush and bleach and scrubbed every single jet. This is my vacation. I have worked my ass off this summer and paid alot of money to literally scrub a jacuzzi to use ONE time! Will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend to anyone. If you're reading this and are in CH133B this week. The jacuzzi is nice and clean. You're welcome.

I came here with my Husband before we had kids and was expecting myself to have to eat in the room to keep my feral kids out of the way of the guests, but that could not have been further from the truth! Stayed at the Omni with my three kids, 5 and under, and in laws for a few nights and had an incredible experience. As soon as we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly. Nick gave our kids a very warm welcome and handed them all super nice kids welcome bags. He was also the last person we saw when we left and he did a great job, super friendly! The resort has plenty of outdoor areas for the kids to run around and get some energy out. The indoor pool was perfect for kids. Only went up to 4 ft and there was a 1.5 ft wading area for the babies. There is a toy store on site in case you want to get the kids something. Of course the arcade was a huge hit for our kids. All of our meals were wonderful. We had the best servers. Elena, Peter, Dilek were awesome. Elena made us feel so special and treated me and my mother in law so well! Adam was super helpful and always hustlin around the covered porch area. After the kids were asleep we were able to sneak out to the Conservatory bar (beautiful views of the mountains) and Ben made delicious drinks. Overall we loved it, highly recommend for families, and we will definitely be back. Thank you Omni team!

What we experienced instead was an absolute disgrace. When we opened the curtains of our expensive suite, we were greeted not by the majestic White Mountains, but by garbage cans, dumpsters, HVAC units, and an unsightly service/utility yard. At no point during booking or check-in was it disclosed that our high-tier family suite would overlook the hotel's back-of-house trash operations. When we brought this to management's attention, expecting basic empathy and a reasonable resolution, the response was shockingly dismissive. The staff was completely unaccommodating, and the manager was entirely unempathetic and uncooperative. Rather than trying to make things right or move us to a acceptable room, the manager blatantly told us that if we didn't like our accommodations, we could always just check out. To add insult to injury, after making us feel thoroughly unvalidated and ignored, the manager offered a insulting token compensation: waiving a single night's $50 resort fee on a stay costing over $800 per night. This stay was a complete and total disappointment. The quality of the accommodations and the terrible attitude of management were completely inconsistent with Omni's reputation and nowhere near worth the price we paid. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually values its guests.

Cranmore delivered just that and more. Lots of greens and blues where I could work on my skills, try trails with escalating difficulty, and still kick back when I just want to enjoy myself and not be a ball of nerves. I also enjoyed the length and variety of their many trails I could traverse. Was happy to have more options than just a quick up and down in a straight line over a full day of skiing. Their main lift was quick and skiers were able to load efficiently. Lots to look at on the way up. The day of my last visit there were several ski competitions going on just next to the lift so it was fun to watch people competing and see spectators make the trek up to watch as well. Ski patrol were out and about and lots of staff available to check in with as needed. The lodge itself had everything I needed... free cubbies to store your stuff, bench seating to change into your boots, adequate table space both up and downstairs to grab a bite to eat, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces to huddle by, a bar and hot foods, and best of all... a bathroom at the same level as where you can ski up to so no having to navigate stairs in clunky footwear. Drop off area for skis, quick in and out to purchase tickets, simple walk over to a very large parking area. I can't wait to return when the opportunity arises!

We were recently here for four nights and overall, a great stay! There's lots to like about this…read moreplace. I'll start with the highlights. First, everything is beautiful (and new). Whoever designed this, I'd like to come redo my apartment. From the entrance, to the rooms, to the spa area everything was gorgeous and you can tell a lot of care and detail went into designing it. Second, the staff members are all amazing. Valet especially but also in the restaurant, at the front desk as well as the spa...a super great team. We had a balcony room and that was gorgeous...I loved all the arts and craft design themes in the woodwork, the view was gorgeous and the room was comfortable overall. The fireplace was beautiful but in July, not much need for it. Would definitely be cozy in the winter. The pool area is very nice and it's a great idea to have two hot tubs. We loved going down at night to enjoy a soak. There's also a firepit by the hot tubs. The beach area is nice and there is equipment you can use (paddleboards, kayaks). Meals were good as well. We enjoyed just about everything we had. The only meal that was just okay was steak frites one night. The steak was very bland, the portion was tiny and it was more expensive than what I pay in Manhattan but I would say the desserts more than made up for it. We had a strawberry rhubarb mousse and a Dubai chocolate cheesecake and both were phenomenal. This is a newish place, I think just under a year old so there may be some opportunity for continued enhancement. They seemed a bit understaffed, especially in the restaurant and that led to some longer wait times and the wait staff having to wear multiple hats to serve, take orders, bus and refill water. I liked the shower but it would be great to have an option other than just the rainfall showerhead. A handheld shower head or an angled showerhead coming out of the wall would be helpful. Definitely there is a need for an outdoor shower or at least a spigot by the pool so people can rinse off the sand from the beach. Everyone who came from the beach just rinsed off feet, toys, etc. in the pool which made it look a bit dirty. A sparkling clean pool is much more inviting and the signs when you come into the pool area even say you need to be rinsed off to use the pool but there's nothing available to help with that. One of the workers said that had been a request from many guests. I'd be interested to understand how this place wants to be positioned. On the website, it seems to be pitched as a serene, relaxing location and it seems targeted towards adults, which was just what I was looking for...a calm, relaxing getaway. But when we were there, it seemed more like it was targeted as a family resort. That's fine but there was absolutely no relaxing by the pool during the day as it was taken over by kids who were having fun and being loud...but that's expected by kids at a pool. All the kids were very well-behaved and their parents were attentive. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about kids, but it would be good to be clear what the vibe is. For example, I wouldn't go to Great Wolf Lodge and expect it to be peaceful. It's just important to know what you're getting so expectations are aligned appropriately. My goal was a peaceful, relaxing stay and though I enjoyed being here, it was neither peaceful nor relaxing (except for the 90 minutes I was at the spa). This review got longer than I anticipated. I'll wrap it up by saying this is a gorgeous place to stay, I'm just not sure who the target audience is.

But we found that they're justified to charge it! We didn't book until about a month already of time, for the Saturday of Father's Day weekend. Mani/pedi weren't available due to a wedding party having booked the salon services. So all I booked for us was a regular massage for me and a salt massage for her. Each was well over $200., plus tax and gratuities, but what they offer is amazing. We arrived 90 minutes earlier than our appointment time and were escorted into the locker room and through the premises. We'd brought bathing suits and changed in the well-appointed locker room and locked our belongings in lockers. Took advantage of the hot tub, the beautiful lounges with infused waters and an assortment of high end teas, sat in the sauna...the grounds are exquisite, the parking lot spacious. But the amenities that come with the services (massage, facial) are: robe and slippers, towels, individually wrapped brush, comb, shampoo/conditioner/shower wash/hair elastic, body lotion...not sure if I inadvertently omitted something? We'd have stayed the afternoon except we were hungry. So we showered, dressed, checked out and went to Laconia NH just up the road. It was a morning of pure luxury and our massages were superb, very professional masseuses. A splurge, yes, but at least we feel that they give you your money's worth.
