The entire staff are incredibly nice. The food was so good that I can't wait to go back. Loved the environment. Great seats to view TV's no matter where you sit. The menu selection is insane! My whole dinner party couldn't decide what we wanted to try first. We couldn't pass up ordering some appetizers, too. The fried pickles are really good, different than the usual fried pickles. They are bread and butter pickles. A couple of people in our party are not fans of bread and butter pickles, but they loved the fried pickles. Very tasty and unique. The onion rings are great! We also had burgers and chicken wings. We were not disappointed at all with any part of our visit. By the way, they also have a great options for vegetarians or people who eat meat, but not red meat. Look at the menus I posted. The parking is free. There's a larger parking lot that is a short distance from the restaurant. Minimal parking in front of the restaurant. There's a takeout entrance and an entrance for dining in. We walked in the wrong door, but they must get that a lot, because they're very nice about it. Very positive experience. The food was so good I forgot to take pics! The burger with a brisket is exceptionally good. Yes, it is a brisket on top of a burger. So much to complain about I don't even know where to start. And all I did was order takeout. After one of the worst days which I admit, did not help my enjoyment of the meal I decided to order takeout on the way home. I ordered online and chose the curbside delivery option as I had a baby in the car. When I got there, I drove around for about five minutes looking for any sign that said curbside pick up park here, etc. anything like that. I saw nothing there was virtually no parking And I could not get anyone to answer the phone for 20 minutes. When they finally answered the phone, I was told they don't do curbside pick up. They did not offer to bring the food out to me. I had to leave my car in the middle of the street in front of the restaurant with the emergency blinkers on and hope that someone did not hit my baby within the one minute it took me to get out of the car and go get my food and come back. Now let's move on to the food. I decided to treat myself and I got the Wagyu cheeseburger. I ordered it medium rare. When I got home that sucker was gray! I have enclosed a picture. Even if it sat under a light which it did not it should not have cooked that much more after being plated. They had destroyed that beautiful piece of very expensive meat. I don't typically write reviews, but this one is important. My twelve year old daughter is so hyped about wings and basketball and asked to bring a friend last Fall to see one of Caitlin Clark's big Indiana Fever games. It was a Friday night so we called ahead and the hostess said no problem at all. We get to Cowbell and the girls are ushered right front and center to the big screen in the middle. As we were happily devouring our wings and enjoying the game, the restaurant started to fill up with middle aged men that were obviously there to watch the Red Sox play. I hadn't anticipated this, and watched with curiosity as man after man asked the bartender to switch the center TV to the baseball game. (The Red Sox game was on all of the other surrounding TVs.) And his answer was the same each time. "Oh I am sorry, these lovely ladies are here to watch Caitlin Clark." At first the men were annoyed and grumbled and shot us a look as they shuffled back to their seats, but as time wore on and the basketball game became close, I looked around. All of these men with their families were smiling and cheering for Caitlin and the Indiana Fever. The whole room was pumping. And when they pulled out a win, the cheer was deafening. My daughter and her friend happily high-fived people as we left, unaware of what just happened. I thanked the bartender for what he did and found out he was the owner. To the owner of Cowbell, thank you for giving my daughter a seat at the table, and for allowing her and all other females a place in sports. This is the America I want to be a part of, and we need more people like you in it. We will gladly continue to eat at Cowbell Rock Row for as long as you will have us! read more

The space is fresh and fun. They had a packed house tonight, for the Celtics game. Our service was stellar. Our waitress was on it.. everything we needed was accommodated in good time. The food was fantastic. We all loved our meals. We were pleasantly surprised to be served fresh, "Pier Fry"style French fries. The gluten free bun is something we don't find often so, that was another welcome surprise. We found the prices to be quite reasonable as well. All-in-all, we will be back! read more

Went to Cowbell on a rainy Sunday. Nice ambiance and if you like sports, go here to watch a game and have a beer. If you are a cocktail drinker, skip this place. They can't even do a Bloody Mary right. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and it was good and creamy! The burgers that they are known for, was nothing to write home about. They lacked seasoning and flavor. The same goes with the fries and tots. All and all a very expensive lunch for mediocre food and not awesome service. read more

I never do reviews... this place was terrible. The only good part was the cold beer and the nice young waitress who was a vegetarian at a burger and beef bar.... The portions were small and everything was burnt. Burnt items.... pretzel appetizer, fries, tater tots, burger, kids grilled cheese. The place was also really small. I did take out for my lunch break. I figured as a restaurant you can do take out easily on weekdays. The guy who picked up told me they typically don't, but since they are not busy he would make an exception. He also told me for take out to make sure I do it only 30 minutes before I pick up instead of an hour ahead of time. "The crew is new and still getting the hang of things here" - his words. I was very confused about that contradiction. You don't typically do takeout, but you want me to call 30 minutes before next time. Okay then confusing? inside is very beautiful and well decorated and love the style. My tots and Mac and Cheese bites were soggy, I'm assuming because of it being in take out containers to go, most likely from condensation, not there fault there though. Wonder if they would be more fried and better if I ate in. I honestly was not crazy about my burger either. The bacon on it was too crispy and I didn't even finish it. I ate half and threw it out. I wanted to love it, I really did. The space is bright and full of sports action on many televisions, even a real time score ticker. Unfortunately, the burgers in my opinion, are not good. I ordered a medium burger that was very hard and well done on the edges and although the middle was the slightest bit of pink, it was not juicy at all. Not pleasant to bite through. I didn't like it at all. My husband had visited with friends a week earlier, and said all of their burgers were overdone. I wanted to give it a shot to see for myself. Ugh. Fries were ok, we ordered pretzel bites, those were also fine, but the burgers need help. I had a burger at Three Dollar Dewey's recently that kicked this burgers @$$. Service and meal was great! Lots better this time than the summer when it was chaotic. Delicious burger but the chicken tender app with Chile Thai was awesome. Sever recommended and it's perfect. We wanted more. The decor is a cool vibe, watch the game or whatever sport is the highlight and thankfully the speakers weren't blaring to the point I would have to scream to talk. One thing remains is the bar and stools have soft cushions. The tables don't and that hurts after a while. So be prepared to be uncomfortable after 30 minutes. They need to fix that to earn 5 stars. read more

Like others said, I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is good, the staff friendly and attentive, but the food was disappointing. My burger tasted like it was frozen/precooked. I wanted a medium burger, but it was well done and dry. The fries were good. I hope they rethink what they are using for burger meat and do fresh. You have potential, but I'm afraid it will flop if they keep it as is. If your forte is burgers, you need to put the extra money and time into high quality meat and cooking it to order. read more

This was by far the worst restaurant I've been to in years. Your signature dish is a burger, yet mine was totally overdone, tasteless, and frankly I'm not sure if I was blindfolded whether I would know it was a hamburger. One in our group had salmon that was so overcooked it was laughable. Pretzel sticks were ok but the cheese sauce tasteless. Mac and cheese was another dish that was so bland I would have preferred Kraft. Just read a recent article about the owners who felt the Rock Row restaurant could be used as a template for national expansion. Good luck with that. I wish owners would eat at their own restaurants every now and then. Perhaps they could adjust their future plans more realistically. Haven't eaten at McDonalds in probably 30 years but boy I wish I had tonight. BTW I have never reviewed a restaurant before tonight. read more
