In fact, I even called on 9/10 to confirm this... called again the morning of 9/11 to confirm yet again... and then called 30 minutes prior to my pick-up time to ensure that someone would be picking me up on time. EACH of those 4 times that I called I was reassured that someone would be picking me up at 6:45pm if not a few minutes earlier. I thought great! THEN came 6:45pm... then 6:50pm.. and then 6:55pm and no taxi arrived!! I waited an additional 20 minutes and still nothing!!!! So, I called Happy Taxi who told me that they could not locate a driver and told me to wait an additional 45 minutes! What?! I had an appointment that I had to at, so waiting was NOT an option! I just don't get it? The reservation was made in advance, and numerous calls were made to ensure efficiency, yet inefficiency is what I got with NO apologies made from the taxi operator! Ridiculous! I immediately downloaded the app Lyft... and I kid you not - after requesting a driver through Lyft, paying through Paypal, and putting in my destination info -- JUST 5 minutes later a driver showed up! Wow!!! Why didn't I just go through Lyft to begin with?!?!? Yelpers, save yourself the headache of depending on an unreliable taxi company like Happy Taxi or Savetag Taxi, and just use the app Lyft! They are way more dependable! Now, I know I sound like a Lyft app advertiser, but I am not. I am simply a business woman who utilizes cab services when out of town, and who appreciates efficient and reliable service. Happy Taxi was a big disappointment, and people should be mindful of the fact that Happy Taxi does NOT take credit/debit card as payment. They ONLY deal with cash payments. Do not be fooled. The dispatch operator or drivers may tell you they take credit/debit card, but upon arrival to your destination they will demand cash payment only, and tell you that their credit card machine is broken. - Trust me, I have used their service before so I know first hand. But after this nightmare, I will Not be using them ever again.

Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy).
