Cory is hands on, very caring. Spends as much time as needed with your canine. My babies were in very capable hands.

Wagmore Pet Resort has been taking care of our Morkie, Charlie, for over a year now, and they've been wonderful every step of the way. From doggy daycare to boarding and grooming, their staff truly goes above and beyond, and you can tell Charlie absolutely loves it there. Whenever we ask her if she wants to "go to school," she immediately starts running around in excitement and doesn't stop until she's in the arms of a Wagmore team member, ready to play with her doggie friends. When we travel (which is often for both work and leisure), we have total peace of mind knowing she's safe, happy, and in great hands. Even when we miss her and call for an update, the staff never hesitate to let us know how she's doing. It's rare to find a place that feels like a second home for your pet, but that's exactly what Wagmore is for Charlie. We couldn't be more grateful for the love, care, and attention they consistently provide. Highly recommend!!

I will once again meet with the owner to see what they can do to reassure me of their capability to run an effective business, but as a 13 year customer who apparently has Stockholm syndrome, I'd caution anyone from getting into this cycle of abuse. But their groomer is excellent! She cares, does a great job, and is a true professional and a delight.

From the very beginning, Dean was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient - not just with Henry, but with us as well. He has a way of making training feel approachable and even fun, which made such a difference as this was our first experience with a dog trainer. Nothing ever felt overwhelming or intimidating. Dean was also very reassuring that a lot of what we have experienced with our Henry was normal puppy behavior. What really stood out to us was how personalized the training was. Dean took the time to understand Henry's personality and our lifestyle, and then tailored everything to fit our home environment. That made it so much easier for us to stay consistent and actually implement what we were learning day-to-day. Henry has learned all of his basic commands and is doing so well. We've seen such a transformation in his behavior, confidence, and responsiveness. It's been such a joy to watch him grow, and we truly feel like Dean set us up with a strong foundation that will last. If you're looking for someone who is not only skilled at what he does but also genuinely cares about both you and your dog, we highly recommend Dean. This was one of the best investments we've made for Henry and our home!

We left him with Marlene for two weeks (couldn't imagine doing this, but we weren't having much luck getting him where he needed to be). We went on vacation for a week, and then picked him up a week after that. The results have been pretty remarkable. He is much calmer and no longer jumps on us. We are continuing the training ourselves (she gave us information on how to reinforce the progress she made). If you are having problems with your dog and can afford some training, I can't imagine how you would go wrong with using Marlene.

After every pickup I would ask how things went, and the feedback was always positive. I can only speculate as the explanations I've been given have been vague and contradictory at best. The issue seems to be that over the past year they have now hired very inexperienced staff that is afraid of large reactive dogs. Whether they are unwilling or unable to work through staff turnover--I've noticed on pickup a lot of the new staff now seems to be barely out of high school if that--and I wonder if anyone would consider them professional dog trainers, much less able to handle giant breeds that are reactive. They raised my price substantially without proactively telling me, from 82 per night, to 100 per day. I was initially told this was a general change in policy, because he occupies a training spot--which I already knew he occupies a training spot, because that's what I was paying for--the 4grand up front and 82 per night over the past nearly 4 years. The person who told me this was also a new person, so I asked again the next employee I interacted with, I believe was Austin who told me it was just because there were only certain employees that could handle him--not sure why that would cause a price increase but maybe it means they couldn't pay the new minimum wage high schoolers they've hired. Finally I ask upon pick up why the increase and was told it was because he damages things while he is there and that every time he stays they have to replace something. Again, news to me, aside from being told last year of a cord he chewed threw, I was never told he was so destructive--I have ZERO destruction issues at my house. I don't think I have ever spoken with the owner Lisa before, did not even know who she was. But after getting home from my last pickup, having just been told again for the x number of times how there were no issues with his stay--never insinuating that he was somehow in his way to being banned--I was informed via text at 8pm at night that we are no longer welcome for boarding. Whether this is a change in business model, or in hindsight a pattern of miscommunication (I say miscommunication but NO communication would likely be more appropriate) the owner decided my dog is not worth the headache. Ultimately in texts I was told they can't safely board him--odd after almost 4 years. I was also told the new staff members were unwilling to even show up for work if my dog was there. But then told it was because having me pay more money wasn't enough for repairs and overtime. I'd say that is probably nearer the truth, that the owner would rather make more money by using their limited spots on a dog that can be boarded by staff members who happen to be afraid of dogs.
