We came here for a grooming appointment for my Golden Doodle. We will never return…read more 1) we gave clear instructions we wanted a golden doodle teddy bear cut and to keep the legs long. Instead they gave our dog a typical poodle cut- shaved body/legs/tail with balls on the feet/tail/ears and pouf on the head. 2) When I picked up my dog the groomer stated he was extremely matted and that's why they had to shave him down (which was false because he gets bathed and brushed out every week to prevent matting). I'm guessing maybe they didn't know how to do the cut and opted to do something else all together. Who knows. 3) when they went to get my dog they said it was the dog with lots of anxiety- which I thought was odd because this dog has the best temperament ever (extremely calm would never hurt a fly type dog; never have heard of or had a problem with him in the past with any other groomer). They bring my dog out literally dragging him as he's pulling away from the groomer and shaking. He immediately saw me and darted straight for me and hid behind me. HUGE red flag as this behavior is completely out of character. I asked what was wrong and they said nothing he's just a difficult dog. 4) They then tell me they had trouble grooming him and to expect bruising around the face and mouth! What? There was a line behind me and I didn't make a big deal about everything I just left (shame on me) When I got home I took a closer look at my dog (honestly to see what they were talking about with bruising) - only to notice he had bleeding in spots that look like they shaved too close to the skin and cut him on his under belly and rear legs. I felt so bad for my dog and this experience. I also regret not making a stink about the service when I was at the facility. So I do not recommend at any cost! I also Rarely leave reviews but felt I should warn people about this grooming place.

I came in today and I looked at some cats. I am kind of interested in adopting, but I am not 100%…read moreset on adopting just yet. I asked one of the workers, he was a male with a beard he had curly blondish white hair, I asked him if I could see the cat and he responded, Well, are you interested in adopting? and I said maybe I'm not sure yet. Then he says you can only see the cats if you're committed to adopting. I'm thinking to myself how am I supposed to know if I want to adopt this cat if I can't even touch it or hold it or play with it? How am I supposed to know if I want a cat through a glass screen? As soon as he said that to me, I walked out. This is not only unfair to customers, but also unfair to the kittens who deserve to be played with and get attention in love. This worker is prohibiting cats from getting adopted plain as that. this worker was also a more heavyset guy and he needs to be fired. Someone please identify him. This is totally unfair to customers and especially the kittens that are looking for new homes. This is not even allowing them the chance to get adopted. People might just come in and see cats and fall in love with a cat without even wanting to adopted first. Fix this system! I just hope these cats get adopted through a fair process! Fix it. keep in mind this is never happened to me before and I come to petsmart all the time. I even adopted my cat from a different petsmart. it is the employee's fault. Fire him he is stopping animals from getting adopted.

TSVS has performed two medial patellar luxation surgeries on Soleil, my husky. The first went fine…read morewith some minor complication where the wound didn't heal due to the surgical hardware but the second surgery performed by Dr. Franklin has resulted in significant surgical complications. After the surgery when I took her from the veterinary tech and began lifting in her car, I saw that blood was streaming down her leg and the wound was wide open and no longer sutured. Days later I was told that Soleil's skin, tissue, and bone were quickly necrotizing. My dog is now in her fourth month of recovering from the surgery, and still faces the threat of possible leg amputation. Instead of directly treating the surgical complications, Dr. Franklin delegated this work to my regular vet, who did not have direct experience in this area. Not once has Dr. Harper or Dr. Franklin reached out to me to explain what happened or to go over with me possible options for my dog's future until today after I filed an online negative review of TSVS. He didn't bother contacting me even after I asked my regular vet to speak with him months ago. Dr. Harper's cold response today was that I signed a form acknowledging that the surgery had risks. Yes, like with any veterinary procedure, an owner acknowledges risks, but at the same time, I never authorized what appears to me to be veterinary malpractice. To this day TSVS cannot explain to me what happened to her and how her health suddenly deteriorated so quickly. My regular vet at Acorn Hill stated that this negative outcome is "unprecedented," but still I have no explanation of how this happened. I now know Dr. Harper's background is actually that of an equine veterinarian, and in my opinion he should not be performing surgery on smaller animals. I don't believe either surgeon is board-certified to perform surgeries on dogs. This has been by far the worst veterinary experience I've ever had. Please stay away!

Thank God, her bite wounds didn't puncture any major organs but they did damage the blood vessels causing no blood flow to her wounds. The expertise of Dr. Franklin and all the techs involved was remarkable! And their care afterwards was beyond wonderful! London wouldn't be where she is right now with all they did for her. We are forever grateful to TSVS!
